Great room. Really love the clean open look of the room. I think the white walls and light colors help alot. I have a really right Lumiy LED desk lamp on my desk and it makes the whole room so much bigger because of the bright, crisp light.
Wow, it’s been a few years since this was published!! I just wanted to come on and say THANK YOU to everyone who has viewed, liked, and commented on this video and given me feedback and support!!
Since this, I have graduated with my bachelor’s degree (woo, Go COUGS!!) and I’ve changed a lot. My consumerism practices, my clothing and home decor tastes, and just general way of living have all changed dramatically and it’s crazy looking back!
I’m wanting to get back into UA-cam and start recording and documenting for my own value and for all y’all’s entertainment....so stay tuned!!!

okay, i'm sorry this may seem rude, but it's a little gross to have your dishes drying in the bathroom, because when you flush your toilet, it sprays bacteria around which could get to your dishes. sorry just felt the need to say something
We only kept them in there to dry when we weren't using the bathroom :) We removed them once we needed to use it! And a janitor came in and cleaned our bathroom a few times a week, so it was very cleans most of the time!

Join AGD! Best house on greek row ;) Kidding (not really) but seriously the friends I made in AGD are lifelong and all the women in our house are so genuine and kind, but still know how to have fun. Have fun during recruitment!

Your dorm is so cute! I was accepted to WSU and had like everything set up, orientation paid for and my testing scheduled and then never ended up going because of financial stuff so watching these makes me insanely jealous. Someday I will get there though..

man for a seemingly small room you guys really lucked out on the bathroom, mine can fit the tub and toilet and maybe a 2' x 2' bit of standing space, that's it (sink is outside of the bathroom)

In after effects there's an effect called warp stabiliser which makes video stable but sometimes it can mess with the background and make it warped as well so that might be it?
That is exactly it! I noticed this when I was editing my most recent video. Somehow it messed up the back ground because it didn't think it was stable, but it already was. Weird!

How do you make all white beddings work? I've been thinking of getting white sheets/covers because I like the fresh and clean look, but I just feel that the upkeep will be too much. How do you do it?!? Any recommendations?
Hi Jackie! To keep my whites clean, I didn't eat on my bed in case I were to spill anything on it, and I washed it a few times and bleached it whenever it was looking dull. Also, sleeping clean will help keep your sheets cleaner, like if you take a shower before bed. I hope that helps! :)

is it normal in america that you have to have your own wifi router, microwave, etc, in your dorm rooms ?
Most colleges have internet for you to use, I believe it goes by buildings where the dorms are. And also most dorms have microwaves for each floor maybe? Some colleges let you rent mini fridges and microwaves.
people7811 i think most colleges usually supply wifi, but when it comes to kitchen items you usually have to provide them for yourself!!

i have shower shoes cuz I'm clumsy and when your clumsy you slip a lot , I almost died in the shower one time😑😵😂
+Blaize B Sorry it took me so long to reply! But I didn't use my shower shoes in our own shower; they were for when we had a room without a shower and had to use communal showers!

Yes, you can, if you loft it to the highest setting. We had our beds like that at the beginning of the semester, and I wish I would have made a video show casing that!

Damn America is evil to students, we get that much space or a little less for just one person in the UK, heck sharing a room is unheard of here.
Mera A It all really depends on what you want to pay for in a dorm. Students, in some colleges, can get their own dorm and/or share a large one with another person(s) (so kind of like a a small apartment), but those are more common with private colleges (or so I've heard)

No, only certain dorms have bathrooms available in them.

You were shower flip flops in the shower when you use a shared-shower or a hall shower!
Sophie Beck shower shoes are shoes u where in the shower. A lot of camps recommended them so u don't get warts in ur feet! I usually just use thongs though if I need them

Sometimes when best friends are roommates, you don't voice your needs or opinions as much, so one person tends to get their way as a result! I didn't need that much room anyway, so it all worked out! If you watch my next room tour, we ended up getting our own rooms!

Rileigh Elizabeth no, I don't think I should have. This is REAL life in a dorm room, not fake. If it were spotless and I said it was, that would have been a huge lie. Ever lived in a tiny space with two people? Try it, it will probably get kinda messy. Thanks for watching! ;)

Rileigh Elizabeth cool! Good for you and your roommates! Unfortunate you lived in a smaller space! Thanks for telling me how to keep MY room! This was nearly two years ago, aka I was two years younger, two years less experienced on living on my own, and now am much more simplistic and organized, just saying. All the clutter is from living in such a small space with way too much stuff I had brought to live in a dorm that I later realized I didn't need! Just thought I would give a real life perspective on dorm life. Have a great day!
