I'm getting tired of all these new races, but still only two factions (Alliance, Horde). It's time for a new faction, and it could include some of the currently playable races as well as new and unique races. Or, they could just go ahead and finally put out a WoW2.
Blizzard needs to stop presenting low effort changes like we should be excited about it. Sick and tired of re-used assets. They need to start acting like they have the budget they actually have. We should be getting new races/classes/sub specs/updates to old models/textures all the time just because we pay $15 a month. The fact that it takes them months to release anything, and it is usually barely tested is insane.

Having the Naga as a playable race would be pretty sweet; maybe they could switch between legs and tails, perhaps for a racial speed boost ability akin to the Worgen's "Running Wild" racial ability.
I want nerubians as new allied race. Imagine casting fireballs with 4 hands as fire mage. Or holding (just visually) 4 axes as a warrior. Would be sick.
By the way, to fix the whole Naga transformation, fighting, mounting and customization for armor. They can literally do what they did for the Dracthyr, where the Naga form will only use armor you get when you customize it, but their “visage“ form would be more of a scaly tendril nightelf.
they're mutated by the volatile old god magics that were present during the great sundering, it would be weird if you just magically give them a humanoid form.
The Drakyr are reskinned worgen; the Kul'turan are reskinned Pandas (you can always tell by the run animation), the vulpera are reskinned goblins. The new elves are swapped from night elves and blood elves, and the obvious reskinned dwarves (iron dwarves) and gnomes (mechagnomes), and reskinned tauren and orcs. They keep reskinning old crap and selling it to us like new and we bend over and take it, thanking them, and giving them our money. The World Sould Saga needs fresh NEW models and animations.
What players have been asking for to get for 15+ years: - High Elves - Ogres - Amani/forest trolls - Vrykul - Tuskars What we likely be given by Danuser: - Original furry race - Original scalie race - Underwhelming existing race - Lore breaking/nonsensical race - Wish version of the race we actually wanted (drakthyr/void elves instead of Drakonoids/High elves).
@@Calvansbagoftricks Irrelevant since they are still void elves and void elves are the antithesis of the high elf race fantasy. If you only think blue eyes are the appeal of high elves you have completely missed the point of why people want them
I could see ogres and vrykul being part of the last titan as both originated from titan constructs/tampering on their respective worlds. They would also be the largest playable races in their respective faction, dwarfing even the kul tirans and the tauren.
i feel like the Jinyu and the Hozen from pandaria get so ignored by Blizzard but should be allied races since we literally spent significant time in that expansion recruiting them to our causes
Pandaria was so good but so old. It feels so small now, I hope we get a Pandaria 2 completely remade bigger, like the rest of the world (starting with Midnight... it has to... Don't care about Northrend tho). And in the other hand, I can't trust them yet to build a better story than MoP... only better graphics.
A group of races that's free agents or mercenaries. To where they can choose which faction to join or gain reputation with. Just like how it is within the lore.
Should mention the Mogu will likely reappear within The Last Titan, as they were also a Titan-forged race, and were abandoned by their Titan Keeper. They use the Draenei character model and are a big part of the imagery/story of MoP and a portion of BoA. If anything, they are great to pair up with Vykrul in regards to being a playable allied race.
@@Skorpio994 Undead burnt Teldrassil and yet we see people like Shandris and Lillian Voss becoming best friends. orcs went off on a fucking rampage during the first war and took Stormwind and pushed a good chunk up the eastern kingdoms while killing as many humans as possible yet Thrall and Jaina put aside their differences to help Azeroth during the 3rd war. Honestly in wow's story horrific acts happen all the time and then each respective people begin to forgive each other rather quickly. its the whole "its not the race but the person." Don't forget as well we were assisted in BFA by some rogue Mogu who rebelled and still believed in Titan-Keeper Ra-Den so I could easily see the Pandaren be like "oh I didn't know they were chill like that" before the Mogu joins the Alliance or Horde or both
Also, if our factions can learn to forgive there is no way the enlightened Pandaren who are super altruistic and open to change cant absolutely find common ground @@kingsherkyy2986
@@Skorpio994I argued this point with another person in someone else’s video, saying that the in game lore doesn’t really support the idea. Everyone in Pandaria hates them, and if BFA taught us anything it’s that the majority of the Mogu aren’t interested in having a change of heart anytime soon. He argued that the Rajani were an exception and were worth being an allied race, but I tried to explain that their relationship with the Titans left them in an awkward position. If the Titans did decide for whatever reason to turn on the denizens of Azeroth, they might potentially have a means of turning their former titan-forced servant races against us, which includes the Rajani (maybe even the bad Mogus too) as well as races like the Earthen, the Stone Tol’vir and even the Watchers like stony tony. It might not even be their own choice necessarily - they may have no choice in the matter, as ultimately they don’t have the free will which races affected by the curse of flesh seem to possess. They were created to serve the Titans, whether they wanted to or not
I love dwarves, but I agree with you; I was expecting something different. Something new. They still seem to be the same dwarves with different textures. We want new body types and new animations! Also, the cosmetic aspect of the character you play is one of the most important things for the player. I don't know why they don't make an effort to provide the variety we're looking for, that freedom. Even after many years, we play races we don't like due to the lack of combination with classes.
In midnight they are giving Naga for sure and maybe Amani? But in Last Titan I can see Vrykul stuff and Tuskars from northrend. Maybe Narubians at the end of War Within.
@@Frankthegb i think they will pull some " A naga faction is cleansed by Elune when the elves are unified at Silvermoon" just to make them playable and give them feet basically creating water elves or sth. Or just make them change shapes like the drakthyr.
There are lot's of northrend options, Tuskar just got a new model, there were thos Murlocs who were semi intelligent, the two sholozar factions. Maybe as every classic race now becoms variants we become more ghul like undeads. sooooo many options..
I think you missed the most likely race to come. Eredar. There is the quest with Velen when you go back to Argus to meet a friendly (regretful) Eredar. Could easily become a horde based Draenei.
Shadowmoon Valley on Draenor is basically Azurelyst HD. Yeah it doesn't make sense, Talador was Quel'Thalas too. Yeah it's even worse, but who ever said WoD was sensical?
You know what would be interesting with the Old Gods coming back? Ethereals as playable! Maybe even some having a form before Dimensius destroying their world?
AXE THROWERS?! FROM AMANI?! THAT WOULD BE HUGE!! I Don't think throwables had any use since classic! Even though i think i seen them in a shop in boralus or something
if you want to get technical, they said the Elves clans are uniting. You could argue that the Trolls are in technicality a clan of Elves(the originals). it's a stretch but it could be the elves giving up their prejudices and embracing all of their heritages.
ok hear me out proper high elves for alliance and amani trolls for horde, wildhammer dwarves for alliance and ogres for horde, with vrykul and naga for neutral, and more race options for forsaken(considering the forsaken were the freed undead, human assassin mercenaries, forest trolls, murlocs{additional info the trigger for the murlocs joining is broken and they dont stop being hostile regardless of technically being under sylvanas's control in the mission} and ogres{the only group mentioned in wow in the alterac mountains quests from vanilla}, edit: forgot gnolls were part of that mission as well so they had tons of race options) in reality forsaken have enough options to where they technically should have been their own faction, similarly to how night elves had enough to be their own major faction as well, honestly they could have quartered up the world to 4 major factions then had the legion and the scourge as their own factions too
I want to play as a naga really really bad, but I do have one problem. I want to be a snake tail naga. I don't care if it doesn't work with mounts. Give them a coiling sitting animation. Give us several customizable color changeable tail socks. It's not hard. If you give us naga with legs there is no point.
Easy solution - let them shift into human form whilst riding. Don't try to make them look goofy with a weird coiled riding animation - that is a clipping nightmare. Combat form should be Naga - and an Optional form for outside of combat. It isn't the fanciest solution but it has worked for other awkward races (Worgen & Dracthyr). The big problem is how transmog will work with their Naga form. I'd rather have a customisable naga form than a fully fledged transmog adaption - so they'd have to really put in effort to allow customisation of the scale colours etc... Maybe belts, gloves, shoulder pads, and tabards could be applicable. The worst outcome with naga form would be the compromises to allow existing transmog to fit. You'd have to completely overhaul every item in the game to fit their appearance. The way they worked around Dracthyr is via Anthropomorphic features (Human-like face & Jaw to fit helmets; Shoulders at 90* to fit shoulderpads; Human like torso so the apperance of items doesn't look distorted) Naga with human form is the way to go if you want proper naga. Maybe the human form has like a mirror image style glimmer to indicate that it isn't the baseform - rather the veil of disguise.
Yes, playable humanoid nerubians are really possible during a war within patch. As for the races for Midnight, if they want to « gather the whole elf people », if you don’t count high elves (which are as human as elves), there are only three elves factions that aren’t playable : the nagas, like you said (neutral race ?), high elves (on the alliance side) and darkfallen (teased on the horde side in BFA) I can see the naga adds as a whole neutral race, and high elves and darkfallen as allied races. And, yes, forest trolls, whenever they are the Amani or the revantsuks, are a due on the Horde side. And, as for the alliance allied race that could counterbalance, I would love Brokens. Why weren’t they added in BFA as a Mag’har opposite is something I still don’t understand.
I feel like them adding earthen which allows players to play dwarves on both sides. It would make the most sense for them to add Amani trolls to kind of allow players to play what ever race they want despite faction. Which Im sure will meet criticisms for mutliple different reasons, but I think it would be cool to have them added as well as make some changes to hunter to allow them to throw axes and spears. Just really get into the immersion with the class and race itself. In the end Im just happy to get more content so long as its well writen and the writing makes sense.
In lore the Amani have an utmost hate for blood elves/high elves. I think them joining the humans would also be pretty far fetched since the original human king who united the tribes of proto humans helped the blood elves and in turn the elves taught humans magic. This caused 100 human mages to join together for a giant firestorm that annihilated almost all of the forest trolls in one big infernal tornado. The forest trolls have reasons to despise both factions. They also see the Darkspear as weak for running away from conflict and their home. There is no specific for what faction they would join so I doubt we will see them as their own race. We do have Zandalari on horde now and all tribes respect them, I see most likely a customization option for Darkspear trolls in creation instead of a solo race.
Honestly, it would be nice to play as the bigger dragons we see at Dragon city. Just make the dragon's smaller scale but slightly bigger than all the races like Turan.
I think Nerubians were planned, but they walked it back after the backlash from dracthyrs lack of transmog options. The nerubian models mainly seem to just have shoulders helms and belts. The same would probably go for naga even though people have claimed they would be fine with less tmog options if they could play them lol
I've been wanting Naga to have a playable land form since like 2007. If they add that plus maybe Nerubians I might reactive my WoW account. It would also be amazing if they revamped Silvermoon and Quel'Thalas
I think naga should just not get to wear pants. I would hate a naga form with legs, that is just not a naga. I don't know what you meant by land form, but definitely naga with legs would suck imo.
So Nerubians is like the Nightborne with Elisande pleding herself to the Legion i guess?? Would love to play as an Nerubian if they announce them later in WW
Imo with Vrykul release they should add dragons to tame for hunters with hunter Vrykul passively to be able to tame them from the beginning, just like it was with mechagnomes and mechanical pets.
Personally, with the Vrykul lore and their society and everything, I imagine they'd basically be like the Pandaren and Drac'thyr if made into an allied race. Some preferring horde for similar ways of life with a lot of races, others choose alliance because "Well, the dwarves and humans are technically kin, so." Of course, if they do add Ogres they'll probably just give Vrykul to the alliance outright to make a 50/50 on "the big guy" race.
People thinking naga is impossible because of their lower body lack creativity. Snakes coil in trees use that for mount animation. Some snakes in the game even have jump animations where they slither up and down, do that aswell. We have 2 races with 4-2 customization slots so for naga boots and legs will be hidden and thats bout it.
dude its time to let go . we have void elves, you can now change the color of their skins . they are high elves , like the blood elves in the horde . get over it
I once had the idea to have the option in WOW where you could create a halfbreed character that could choose whatever faction they wanted. The concept was that you had to pick two races that your character was born from, and most likely you would end up training with the other hybrid characters from the tutorial to learn how to accept your heritage from each race and choose your future. But no one would ever go for it.
A strange reaction, but a welcome one, perspectives are all fair whether right or wrong. I'll stay excited/unimpacted myself, and I hope you find something else to entertain yourself.
I absolutely agree that we have almost too many Elves, we have Playable the: Kaldorei, Shal'dorei, Sin'dorei, and Ren'dorei; and Cosmetic Appearances for the: Quel'dorei and Darkfallen (the Dark Rangers)
I think Azshara will appear after the third expansion and will be the main villain for 3 more expansions, but that's just me and how I interpreted the scroll of the prophecy.
Honestly... I think the Amani trolls COULD be a potential thing. Because when you think about it.. There are only 2 versions of trolls. Skinny and the tall trolls. But no bulky. Muscle trolls. And it would fit with the Uniting the trolls part that was the main idea when it comes to Voljin. But with the elves. Well. Nagas could work. Since they used to be elves. But there is also the thing with the trolls. Elves USED to be Trolls. And we still havent had anything with the "Dark Trolls" that were the ancestors of the night elves.
Dark Trolls are wiped out, only one left in Zul'dazar. Farakki and Dark Troll skin is available for the regular trolls. They should add Amani, and make it so they can look like Drak'kari as well, since they're also buff but blue. Give us ALL THEW TROLLS!
@@kalmonsalmon1946 Ofcourse. It would make sense lore wise. As they are people, race that is far flung in the world. A Dying people. In a world that.. is no longer theirs. They used to be the dominant empire before the high born came to be. Now they are in .. crumbling ruins. And with VolJIn being a loa now. Of Kings. It could create a story where the Darkspear trolls create a place for the tribes to be in one place. So you have the Drakari from Northrend, The Amani from Quel Thalas. The Faraki from Tanaris, the Gurubashi from Zulgurub. So on and so on. All united on Echo Isles. Bringing them to Dazaralor in ZulDazar. Would even be kinda funny. Imagin Drakari trolls.. in a tropic place. Complaining about it being wayyyy to hot. Considering they run around in NORTHREND.. Cold place. The Faraki trolls.. being surprised at the fertile land.. And there being no sand. Trees for shade and water around them. Maybe even some end up.. almost drowning. But i dont know. I dont believe that the dark trolls are exctinct. Because i remember back int he day. Blizzard mentioned that we will one day see them. When. We dont know.
With us going underground and the Sethrak living underground, as seen in the backgrounds of the Temple of Sethraliss dungeon, I honestly think it is possible to meet a different tribe of Sethrak in a later patch in War Within and add Sethrak as a new playable race.
Vrykul and Naga, I'm all for it, but not elvified Naga, draconic, serpentine and reptilian and legless. On that front, I could see Illidan's naga come to the aid of their once allies amongst the Blood Elves (more than a few of Kael'thas followers have joined Quel'thalas canonically, so it's not a stretch) and that'd be the way for them to become an allied race. With the possibility for the titans to return, Illidan could give some very interesting orders for his old followers. Ogres: I could actually see them join in "The last Titan" in a way, because they viewed themselves as of the earth in a way and the chronicles tell that they're not that different from humans in how they came about (titan meddling with natural forces to make fighters and deal with hostile elements on a planet, and then gradual evolution/becomeing flesh). So I think it could be adressed in that expansion, while also introducing the Vrykul as a playable race in the same breath, as it'd be pretty natural for them to become more active with increased Titan prominence. Additionally, the Ogres actually doesn't need a new tribe or faction as there's several that're already affiliated with the Horde, Stonemaul are already a part of it, the Dunemaul are being recruited too, while the Boulderfist clan of Nagrand are led by Lantressor, who's pretty chummy with the Horde. Forest Trolls: While they can be broader, I think it's easy to introduce them as simply a customisation option for the common trolls, like what has happened with the sand trolls and dark trolls. Especially viable since the Revantusk are already firmly Horde.

Vrykul/ogres make sense, except for their size. They'd have to either make them half the size(basically turning them into humans/orcs) or re-model every door.
waiting for Hozen and Jinyu which are in the Horde and Alliance since MOP or playable Ogers..maybe even Sethrak and Mogu. Just not annother Barbershop Reskin race like: Dark Irons, Lightforged, Earthen, Mechagnomes, Highmountain Tauren, Mag'har Orcs
If we are going back to Northrend, I want wolvar and gorlocs. The gorlocs might be a good race to add as a playable race as they were known to protect titan artifacts, and considering the third expansion is literally going to be about titans, I believe it might actually be a good way to go, even if they may have to change the model to make it actually playable. Wolvar would be good as we know there are still some wolvar whom live within Northrend.Perhaps they get attacked by all these memories of Azeroths past, or get controlled by the void and we get to free them. There are literally so many ways you could introduce these two races naturally with what we know so far about the World Soul Saga.
I haven't played WoW since Warlords of Dreanor, but I think being able to finally play a Forest Troll (Loa) Paladin would have a decent chance to make me play again.
Showed the new Nerubian concepts to a friend who hasn't played in a long, long time, and even he agrees that the humanoid model's a bit... Suspicious. Especially with the face. It's not too weird considering the Qiraji, but it definitely doesn't seem like an accident, either. Here's the instant, "justify ogres anywhere" excuse: Ogres were the best sailors in the Old Horde. We're going to a new landmass. The ogres got everywhere by Warcraft III by virtue of them having staggeringly impressive junk-style ships. As for naga, I really hope they don't try to force a legged model for them. It's not that hard to think of how a naga would ride something (side-saddle or hanging on for dear life). Forest Trolls I am genuinely hoping for. Going a step further, we could hypothetically get both forest and frost troll customizations, if instead of introducing them as an allied race doing the whole posture thing and adding the skin colors. Not likely for that part to happen, but it'd be neat.
They won’t do it because they gave Void Elves the customisation for High Elves but I still want High Elves that are actually High Elves and don’t go void in combat
A completly new race is an insane amount of work and of course the worktime you are able to spend is limited. Means when you want something ultra super extra fancy like a whole new race with completely new animations and -- the worst part - every little pieace of gear old and new has to be remade for it, that's will take a lot form other things. So the question is: is this difference worth it?
Thing with Naga is, unlike say Dragons or Nerubians, who both needed some humanoid form in order to become playable, Naga really are humanoiod enough. There are certainly ways to make gear, mounts and animations work with a snake body. If Blizz really does go the half elven way with them, then I'd be highly disappointed. One of the reasons why they are so popular is because how cool they look, we really dont need another night elf variation.
Would love a playable naga and murlock races with a lot of custo to them hopefully "IF" that was to ever be a playable race i hope for hunter and rogue all i play besides warrior 🖤🖤
Forest trolls (introduction of new range weapons like throwing axesm spears/javelins plus new range tre for warrior etc etc) would been sweet, Ogres with a mix of mage, tanky, glutton racials, vrykuls with heavy weapon mastery which gives high stats the longer u fight.
honestly vrykul would definitly be my most favorite, but if we ever do get a semi world revamp in kalimdor i want the only acceptable furry race: saberon. with the maghar orc unlock quest a bunch of wildlife comes through the portal, and the saberon run off into the barrens, i could imagine that they will wreak absolute havoc on the local quillboar population which would immediatly make them more sympathetic with tauren and orcs, especially mankrik, i would imagine that the saberon would split of into several smaller tribes, some hostile some friendly some neutral to the horde, the horde could ally itself with a druidic like tribe of saberon through the tauren
Hard to believe the last time we had female dwarves with beards was in the book and game Warcraft Adventures: Lord of Clans. After that they were mentioned in wow lore books as a type of dwarf we never really see (I think known as hill dwarves, it's been a while since I read it) and another about a guy talking about his female dwarf wife who also had a beard. So now we're getting one it feels nice to know that even if it's about (the game was cancelled in 1998, so I hope my maths is good) 26 years late; it's still a thing we get. Makes me wonder what other races or classes we might still get the chance to see (I won't list them but whatever you're thinking of is likely one of them). Tbh I'm still hoping for a Warden class where you use Glaives you can throw and swing, the ability to blink (like mages but hopefully a better version; we don't want another metamorphosis situation. At the very least more of a death coil situation where the previous class still gets to keep their version) and create shadow copies. Sorry rambling again. I just hope with Metzen back, we'd get more unique beastal/monsterous races added. Like a spider or snake race. Tbh if they added centaur it would open more oportunities for other legless/multi-legged races by setting the foundations going forward!
Those false Earthen (literally) are just ripping off the last remains of Dwarven uniqueness, Wilhammers (the Hill dwarves, opposed to Mountain dwarves... in fact both terms has been switched in the same two books, but it still works lol, anyway). Taller, griffons, etc. They're the perfect ultimate merging for the race that has been craving for development for two decades, so I hope they plan to bounce of them to actually care about the true dwarves. (Something they absolutely didn't do with Centaures, but at least they did interesting with Taurens (who were as much ripped off by DF Centaures, with Orcs... Yeah that's shameful)
8:02 Always could use more racial variants of all the races elves and dwarves included, humans have 6-7 primary racial groups with a half dozen smaller sub races, it's only true to life that the same is true for elves, dwarves trolls etc, and honestly i wanna play them all :p
TBH I believe the humanoid Nerubian will 100% be the next playable race(reason being is ITS something new and different then a copy and paste of a already existing race with just small differences.) they add in TWW it will most likely be in one of the major patches near the end of the expansion, also I believe we will get the new human race as well sense the alliance and horde are now whole and not separate. I think Naga and Ogres might be the next races they add in in midnight and Vyrkul being added in The Last Titan sense its slated to mainly be in northern with Uldaur being the focus of the expansion sense that's where all the titans are gonna show up at. So in total we might see 6 new races during this saga with the hint "Might" sense one has already been confirmed which were the earthen. All we can do now in till more info comes out is "hope"
@@tiagofialho7015 They don't have to make it fair though. They could just have their own carriage ride while being carried, lol. No smooth mouth flying for them though 😅. Go play warcraft 3 and see the reason why centaurs would never be apart of *thrall horde*. The Horde stop being Horde when thrall left garrosh at age of teenager to pick up the mantle of warchief, from that Garrosh did everything for he's own horde, not thralls anymore the horde use to be only Orcs on draenor. Then after doomhammer Thrall became warchief of that horde, but after the dark portal Thrall made he's on Horde. An alliance between Orcs, Goblins, Ogers, Trolls and taurens. @@hotshot461 Yes, originally, used to. They aren't anymore.
I got my mind on Amani. And Amani on my mind.
I want nerubians as new allied race. Imagine casting fireballs with 4 hands as fire mage. Or holding (just visually) 4 axes as a warrior. Would be sick.
I’d love that.
That'd be so cool, but Blizz can't even get armor to fit some races properly, so I'm not gonna expect much 😂
And what outfits they gonna wear ? Y'all thought about it ?? I don't understand how u guys think sometimes... There will be no trasmog for them..
Never happening
I'd rather have them over another dwarf race.
By the way, to fix the whole Naga transformation, fighting, mounting and customization for armor. They can literally do what they did for the Dracthyr, where the Naga form will only use armor you get when you customize it, but their “visage“ form would be more of a scaly tendril nightelf.
Im gonna need a little mermaid-esque scene about someone who's over the top excited about their new 'legs' LOL
they're mutated by the volatile old god magics that were present during the great sundering, it would be weird if you just magically give them a humanoid form.
What players have been asking for to get for 15+ years:
- High Elves
- Ogres
- Amani/forest trolls
- Vrykul
- Tuskars
What we likely be given by Danuser:
- Original furry race
- Original scalie race
- Underwhelming existing race
- Lore breaking/nonsensical race
- Wish version of the race we actually wanted (drakthyr/void elves instead of Drakonoids/High elves).
We got high elves as a customization option on both Blood and Void elves having blue eyes available.
@@Calvansbagoftricks Irrelevant since they are still void elves and void elves are the antithesis of the high elf race fantasy.
If you only think blue eyes are the appeal of high elves you have completely missed the point of why people want them

fr makes no sense that blood elf’s can’t be druids
Human shaman already ffs
I would absolutely love to change my fury warrior to a Vrykul!
Facts ive been and undead for ever and I would switch to vrykul immediately
Yeah definitely doing a Vrykul Shaman man that would be wild
Vrykul arms warrior all the way for me 😊
I could see ogres and vrykul being part of the last titan as both originated from titan constructs/tampering on their respective worlds. They would also be the largest playable races in their respective faction, dwarfing even the kul tirans and the tauren.
i feel like the Jinyu and the Hozen from pandaria get so ignored by Blizzard but should be allied races since we literally spent significant time in that expansion recruiting them to our causes
They literally were allied races, time to add them retroactively as playable races.
Pandaren, drakthyr and now earthen there’s your group of free agents lol
@joe_w_2895 exactly.
Wouldn’t that contradict with pandaren lore? They were their slaves for years unless its a group of mogu that weren’t involved in it
@@Skorpio994 Undead burnt Teldrassil and yet we see people like Shandris and Lillian Voss becoming best friends. orcs went off on a fucking rampage during the first war and took Stormwind and pushed a good chunk up the eastern kingdoms while killing as many humans as possible yet Thrall and Jaina put aside their differences to help Azeroth during the 3rd war.
Honestly in wow's story horrific acts happen all the time and then each respective people begin to forgive each other rather quickly. its the whole "its not the race but the person."
Don't forget as well we were assisted in BFA by some rogue Mogu who rebelled and still believed in Titan-Keeper Ra-Den so I could easily see the Pandaren be like "oh I didn't know they were chill like that" before the Mogu joins the Alliance or Horde or both
@@Skorpio994 Mogu are/were titan-forged race that also got the curse of flesh from the old the olds and they enslaved the pandaren
Give us ogres, tuskarr, forest trolls, vrykul, and I will be happy
ogres asked for so long yet blizzard ignore the request
In midnight they are giving Naga for sure and maybe Amani? But in Last Titan I can see Vrykul stuff and Tuskars from northrend.
Maybe Narubians at the end of War Within.
“Naga for sure” 😂😂😂😂 not happening
Oh and don't forget about the snow cows, they gonna add them too probably, but maybe just cosmetically?
@@Frankthegb i think they will pull some " A naga faction is cleansed by Elune when the elves are unified at Silvermoon" just to make them playable and give them feet basically creating water elves or sth. Or just make them change shapes like the drakthyr.
I just hope we get the ability to a Draenei Demon Hunter sooner more than later.

I would love to see playable ogre
Same since they were part of the horde...
if you want to get technical, they said the Elves clans are uniting. You could argue that the Trolls are in technicality a clan of Elves(the originals). it's a stretch but it could be the elves giving up their prejudices and embracing all of their heritages.
Title: Playable races CONFIRMED
Video: Maybe, perhaps, possibly, very likely
C'mon man, that's fucking low.
ok hear me out proper high elves for alliance and amani trolls for horde, wildhammer dwarves for alliance and ogres for horde, with vrykul and naga for neutral, and more race options for forsaken(considering the forsaken were the freed undead, human assassin mercenaries, forest trolls, murlocs{additional info the trigger for the murlocs joining is broken and they dont stop being hostile regardless of technically being under sylvanas's control in the mission} and ogres{the only group mentioned in wow in the alterac mountains quests from vanilla}, edit: forgot gnolls were part of that mission as well so they had tons of race options) in reality forsaken have enough options to where they technically should have been their own faction, similarly to how night elves had enough to be their own major faction as well, honestly they could have quartered up the world to 4 major factions then had the legion and the scourge as their own factions too
Blizzard throw random races without explication, they jus need put races like a ginyu or murlocs
The way they worked around Dracthyr is via Anthropomorphic features (Human-like face & Jaw to fit helmets; Shoulders at 90* to fit shoulderpads; Human like torso so the apperance of items doesn't look distorted)
Naga with human form is the way to go if you want proper naga.
Maybe the human form has like a mirror image style glimmer to indicate that it isn't the baseform - rather the veil of disguise.
@@Wataheadable why don’t they give a running wild version to all beast races. Let them use normal mounts to but I want a cool snake tail all the time!
i would love a faction shakeup / remixing of alliance & horde races, or new factions added entirely
Sitting in the back of the room knowing Sethrak will probably not be playable ever.
@@zachtaz987 Damn dog times change.
@@zachtaz987 they should make it a massive rep grind to unlock :P reward the real ones :PPP
Am I the only one who wants to play one of the new 4 arm 2 leg nerubian races? They remind me of the Drow from AD&D
Imo with Vrykul release they should add dragons to tame for hunters with hunter Vrykul passively to be able to tame them from the beginning, just like it was with mechagnomes and mechanical pets.
I've wanted playable vrykul since wrath. But I refuse to believe that we're getting all of these and yet still no ogres.
Personally, with the Vrykul lore and their society and everything, I imagine they'd basically be like the Pandaren and Drac'thyr if made into an allied race. Some preferring horde for similar ways of life with a lot of races, others choose alliance because "Well, the dwarves and humans are technically kin, so."
Of course, if they do add Ogres they'll probably just give Vrykul to the alliance outright to make a 50/50 on "the big guy" race.
I just want High Elves on the Alliance and Forest Trolls on the Horde.
fkn YES!
You can literally customize void elves to look exactly like high elves. Let it go.
"We have High Elves at home" *points to void elves*
dude its time to let go . we have void elves, you can now change the color of their skins . they are high elves , like the blood elves in the horde . get over it
No! We don't not need qnotheer reskinned race omg!
We need Ogres and Moknathal man
I once had the idea to have the option in WOW where you could create a halfbreed character that could choose whatever faction they wanted. The concept was that you had to pick two races that your character was born from, and most likely you would end up training with the other hybrid characters from the tutorial to learn how to accept your heritage from each race and choose your future. But no one would ever go for it.
I personally want the Mok nathal for the horde, and the broken for the alliance
Playing as a nerubian would be sick
A strange reaction, but a welcome one, perspectives are all fair whether right or wrong. I'll stay excited/unimpacted myself, and I hope you find something else to entertain yourself.

I absolutely agree that we have almost too many Elves, we have Playable the: Kaldorei, Shal'dorei, Sin'dorei, and Ren'dorei; and Cosmetic Appearances for the: Quel'dorei and Darkfallen (the Dark Rangers)
If Naga is coming then i hope it will be like dracthyr where they have a humanoid form but still there cool Naga form aswell
Ogres, forest trolls
Vykrul, high elves 🙏
People are gonna keep begging for a brand new allied race long enough that we are gonna end up with GNOLLS! Hogger SMASH!
I mean theres basically Dark Troll skin customization for Darkspear unless they would make a unique looking model for the Dark Trolls
@@GrumpoDaggles Who knows. THey would probably be a bit more unique. Considering they are what ended up becoming the Night elves.. The Highborn.
'Confirmed' ah..doron clickbaits are more cringe than jailor cutscenes I swear xD
What's the issue, the lead Blizzard dev literally confirmed that they are working on new races they plan to implement.

It was hinted in the orc armor quest line that the mak nathal orcs will join the horde since outland is falling apart
I haven't played WoW since Warlords of Dreanor, but I think being able to finally play a Forest Troll (Loa) Paladin would have a decent chance to make me play again.
"New PLAYABLE Races Confirmed In World Soul Saga!"
Source ~ Trust me bro
I have a hard time understanding why you always make videos about things that are supposedly not happening instead of things that we know will happen
I would have love to see THE Jinyu and the Hozen join the alliance and the horde as a playable race.. the joined our factions back in MOP
Jinyu I could see, but Hozen sadly would have issues wear armor since they don’t share skeletons with any existing playable races.
I WANT GNOLLS SO BADDD
They won’t do it because they gave Void Elves the customisation for High Elves but I still want High Elves that are actually High Elves and don’t go void in combat
I've wanted to play a vrykul for so long
A completly new race is an insane amount of work and of course the worktime you are able to spend is limited. Means when you want something ultra super extra fancy like a whole new race with completely new animations and -- the worst part - every little pieace of gear old and new has to be remade for it, that's will take a lot form other things.
So the question is: is this difference worth it?
I want to play as Mogu 😢
Thing with Naga is, unlike say Dragons or Nerubians, who both needed some humanoid form in order to become playable, Naga really are humanoiod enough. There are certainly ways to make gear, mounts and animations work with a snake body. If Blizz really does go the half elven way with them, then I'd be highly disappointed. One of the reasons why they are so popular is because how cool they look, we really dont need another night elf variation.
Midnight it's High Elves time.
Myself, I just want three things. DHs to have wings out all the time like dracthyr, flying mode with their wings, and void elf DHs.
honestly vrykul would definitly be my most favorite, but if we ever do get a semi world revamp in kalimdor i want the only acceptable furry race: saberon. with the maghar orc unlock quest a bunch of wildlife comes through the portal, and the saberon run off into the barrens, i could imagine that they will wreak absolute havoc on the local quillboar population which would immediatly make them more sympathetic with tauren and orcs, especially mankrik, i would imagine that the saberon would split of into several smaller tribes, some hostile some friendly some neutral to the horde, the horde could ally itself with a druidic like tribe of saberon through the tauren
One race that would be cool to have would be some kind of octopus race.
8:02 Always could use more racial variants of all the races elves and dwarves included, humans have 6-7 primary racial groups with a half dozen smaller sub races, it's only true to life that the same is true for elves, dwarves trolls etc, and honestly i wanna play them all :p
Walking Naga? Oh no no no! 😮God nooooo! They don't walk which is part of their appeal! 😊😊😊😊 Oh please no walking Naga! 😮
They have to have Centaur for the Horde, then the Keepers/Dryads for the Alliance.
Yes👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thats gonna be a sight to see regarding flying mounts... Horses on top of dragons
@@tiagofialho7015 They don't have to make it fair though. They could just have their own carriage ride while being carried, lol. No smooth mouth flying for them though 😅. It's not like Flying mounts are tied to combat, but I really see that as the hardest obstacle for them to implement four legged races.
Than Ogres left the horde.
Now comes the reason why centaurs and taurens would never share the same faction.
@@eltonazevedo1361 Nah. The Centaur were already allying with neutrals back in Cata, they already united too, and called themselves Sons/Children of Cenarion. With Baine casting his prejudice against the Centaurs in DF, with just a questline, they can easily join the Horde. Heck, this isn't even as mental gymnastics as Lightforged Warlock, since there's already a Centaur in the Horde.
A vrykul windwalker monk would be pretty cool.
Blizzard never gives us anything what players wants. Player housing, nagas, tuskars and vrukyls are things we will NEVER get.
Naga perhaps, otherwise I can’t imagine the biggest purpose in bringing them back into the narrative outside of just being a plot device.
I wish Arakkoas and Quilboars as allied race! They deserve it cuz they were two of the first races in game :,)
Alliance, elf, horde and the forsaken or scourge will be amazing
Dude I need ethereals as an allied race. I’ve wanted them in wow since BC. And for the “they’re an independent mercenary race” but we got goblins. Who were specifically non exclusive before cataclysm.
Definitely want to make a nerubian! I hope they make them available....the new humanoid models look amazing!
I want to be a nerubian so I can name him Flik, I want to be a BUG!!!
This is a long shot but imagine if every race in wow was playable, imagine the diversity, it would be sick!
My wishlist of new races of wow
-Automaton
-Fishman (Merrow/Merfolk-themed race )
-Octopusman (Mindflayer/Kraken-themed race)
-Hobgoblin
-Bugbear
-Demon
-Skeleton
-Vampire
-Ghost
-Gorgon
-Cyclops
-Angel
-Sprite
-Elf (Common Elf)
-Mummy
-Lizardman
-Halfling
-Dryad
-Fomorian
-Pixie
for the Revamped Quel'thalas, i would want it to be part of the Eastern Kinggdom and not instanced mode, this way the TBC Zone Quel'danas, Eversong Woods, and Ghostlands could still be existing as a Time-Wallking zone.
You can't, YOU CAN'T just imagine Quel'Thalas being the same size as 18 years ago?! I think it's because you could never fly in it but... It's really not bearable to have such ridiculous piece of lands as the main continents. Midnight has to begin the World Rewamp. It will take as much expansions as it need, what matters is to get a decent Azeroth, at last. (It's really the perfect occasion, the peninsula of the landmass, surrounded by Void shadows to hide the "Work In Progress", etc.) Trust me, you DON'T want lazy HD remastered Burning Crusade.
so so so not excited for the new "dwarf"
I always wanted to play as a Dryad. Give me that half deer centaur race that has it's own mount speed.
