Excellent video, thanks. Have tested the coils and get the resistances similar to what you show. Can I assume the blue cable always goes to the upper connector on the gas valve as shown in your video, since they are interchangeable? On the PCB connector on mine (Greenstar Junior 24i) the 1st two terminals on the PCB connector harness are blue (the upper connector on the gas valve), the next two are purple. The remainder are for the various sensors.
That was metal shavings from pipe run. Good example to show results of sloppy pipefitting practice. Also why inlet filter/strainer is a good investmemt !

I can answer this one - NO - on the 24i the top connector is the purple cable. I swapped them over and the boiler sprang into life! Woohoo!
