yes NTC becomes reduces its resistance and if its chip temperature is overheated and it melts in some cases it burns out and in some situations it becmes permanantly short circuit
I am first viewer. Really appreciated. An excellent and informative video for the component thermistor. With experiments made the best understanding for the theory. Special thanks. Best video channel for Engineering students
You're very knowledgeable and have a wide range of videos covering Electronics . You go into more details and aspects of electronics then most anyone else. I like how you do a video on a overall thing and then break it down to pieces, for example, you do a video on switch mode power supplies and then videos on every section of the switch mode power supply. My only problem is some of your best videos and a lot of the ones that I really want to see subjects I only find on your channels and have had questions for the longest time about, sad to say are in another language than English. While I do understand this is your native language, it sucks for me. keep up the good work though. I still get alot of good information from your channel.
@@HaseebElectronics Greetings Haseeb. I was wondering if you knew a valid replacement for a FAN4803 (PWM/PFC) and also a 2SK2611 (mosfet).... The only FAN4083's seem to be in China, and the newer chips don't match up, pin wise... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks, Rick - Nashville Tennessee ....
Salam brother haseeb, you are very knowledgeable MashaAllah. Is you can make a playlist so we can learn the basics of electronics ,then wan learn to repair different pcb
Hello Mister Haseeb, I'm from Canada and i'm a electronic technician. I love your channel, you give a lot of interesting videos Thanks for yours good works!
Dear Mr Haseeb.. your videos are excellent. Your knowledge of electronics is great . Please make more videos . Thank you for passing on all this information.
what is the common damage of a thermistor? short thermistor? change in nominal resistance value? broken or splits in two? thanks for the video sir haseeb.
@@HaseebElectronics thanks for the quick reply....i am working on a power supply that has NTC 5D-9. i tested on board and it is giving 4.9 ohms. on this video it means that the thermistor is still good since it should have a normal/nominal resistance of 5 ohms. thanks again for helping me out. take care and keep safe sir haseeb.
आपकी तारीफ करे ऊतनी कम है
आपकी समझाने का तरीका आजतक कही देखा नही आप हमेशा खुश रहे सर
brother Haseeb. I dont know you but I am VERY proud of you and your work. salam Abbas from Iraq

You explained theory with practical. it is useful
Perfect test procedure

Excellent and informative video
Hello friend
Good video thank you for sharing like 👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀
Very informative. Would like to see more videos on thermister with transistor or traic to power up high current devices
Woow its amazing 👏
Thanks a lot 😊 best regards

Most of the time it burns out by splitting into two parts. As it's internal layers bonding gets separated

@@newvaper3794 I have same NTC 5D-9 IN my smps ,tested resistance is 4.9ohms ,so it seems good ntc ?
very nice video i am watch full video go and check your computer thanks 😀😉
very thanks a lot. (france)
This is a great illustration !
Can you explain the same thing for “MOV” ?
Thank you very much.
Pls. Sir do a presentation on this topic....
many thanks !
Nice information
How do I know that NTC/PTC is faulty
Brother how current sensing circuit works
What is the value of NTC applied in the 2000w load ac line?...and what is the size of same?...pls. help, sir...
