EMACHINES E-Machines E725 take apart video, disassemble, how to open disassembly

  • Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your EMACHINES E725 laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
This video is like insurance for your laptop. With this video and some skills you will be always sure that at least you can try to repair your laptop. If it's broken you don't have to sell it or throw it away. You can find some new or used parts somewhere and change it. It maybe will be your new job or hobby. And if it didn't worked out you still will be able to ask somebody else to fix it.
So, just watch this video and fix your laptop.
    Have fun and good luck!!

    Hi,
thank you very much for such a valuable comment without some type of "idiot" "moron" etc. :) Constructive comments are always appreciated!!!
I never had any problems with this little tiny magnet I use - so, I think I am lucky:)
I also think that if I will not place this magnet on Hard drive directly - nothing happens. It is really, very small magnet, not very strong at all.
Sorry about a motherboard ... it is very sad that I missed that point of view. Thank you for pointing this out!

    Hello,
I think it is a good idea to watch a few videos prior to take a laptop apart. Some people/companies do a video that is like one video for all laptops. It is their choice. I am trying to do video for each model.

if you only removing a keyboard - fan is accessible, but really tiny part of it, you may try to dust it out, but it depend on how dirty it is. If it is very dirty - it will be hard.

To fix a dc jack you will need to solder a new one or old one (if it is possible) to a motherboard.

Thank you for the no music, no talking, and just work. When you want to see how to disassemble a computer, that is all you need, just to be an observer. All else is very distracting and annoying, unless verbal instructions are necessary for some particular area of the disassembling. :-)

to get to the motherboard you probably need to remove a keyboard, then a palmrest... then you will be able to get to a motherboard ... not just all screws from the bottom.

Hey I have a huge favor to ask. For now I'm gonna watch how you take the laptop apart. But now here is my issue. I've had this laptop since 2009 or 2010 and it never let me down. lately its been having issues and I'm fairly certain its because there is a bunch of dirt and dust in it. I sprayed it from the outside but of course that doesn't do too much. I had to wait till I got a bigger external so I could pull all my stuff of there before I do this thing. Of course these tend to get hot quick. So anyways, got several issues. If I close the lid and open it back up while its on it gives me the bluescreen, its very very hot. So I'm guessing thats the issue. Besides that of course it needs a way overdue reformat. But now I have one more issue. A friends toddler poked around in one of my usb hubs and pushed it in. It's loose. And my plug where the charges goes in needs some work too. Now are the usb ports spliced to the motherboard or are they plugged in like the charger plug (I believe is a cord right?) LIke I said I never opened it. Please help a pretty girl out *wink*

Granted this is an Old video, yet still important to those needing help on their laptop (Emachine E725)
However....watching this..........WHO THE 'F' IS HE TRYING TO IMPRESS? An intelligent person shouldn't trust
a 'Hot-Shot' with a screw gun trying to break Land Speed Records while Haphazardly Flying through a
Dis-Assemble as if his only concern is how quickly he can get out the screws. GROW UP and remember
the purpose of his video...to help, to teach, to share info, but to impress the people that might watch..........NO
NO EGOS IN TEACHING, TRUST ME
