what's the scope? what's a BDC scope? how do ou "program" it so that 6.9 means 688m?

Kahles 3-18×50 with a bdc turret (bullet drop compensator). It is simply a scope adjustment

Why are the .22 calibers excluded ?

Excepting the heaviest match bullets, the Bc values simply isn't good enough.
