Put 1-2 tbsp dried herbs or 3-5 tbsp fresh herbs into an infuser
Place infuser in the cup and add water
Cover and steep for 3-5 minutes

Perfect timing. I saw your other video on planting up your herbs and was inspired by how you used many of them for teas. I was going to ask in that video for more information on how to make the teas and voila, now its here. 🙂Thank you so much.

I had the same thoughts about buying a dehydrator also. I prefer to naturally hang & dry my flowers & herbs. However I finally convinced myself to purchase one. The best thing I ever purchased. I use it alot more than I thought I would. There's so many things that you can't naturally dry on their own.
    Definitely a game changer!

You might have just convinced me to get one 😆 Which one do you have and do you like it?

Loved learning how you use your teas. I bought oregano, rosemary, chocolate mint, Stevie. Started German Chamimile. Just planed garlic chives, have regular chives and thyme already growing and lavender. Planted lots of calendula. Suppose to have pink flowers. I drink coffee in the morning with chocolate protein added. I am 84, have CFS but a passion for gardening. That and my dog Rosie keeps me going. I have been watching some of The Cottage Peach and sometimes MIgardener. Do you have favorites to watch? Would love more on tea blends. Nancy

I'm growing my herbs for teas as well, so I was excited to see this video. The strawberry mint & perhaps the chocolate mint as a blend? Kind of like a chocolate covered strawberry. Idk if the chocolate mint would over power. I love the recipe book idea. So cute! Your garden is lovely and the tiered herbs are coming along quite nicely. 💖

I needed this video. My local nursery had the pineapple sage, which smells like heaven, but I couldn’t think of how I would actually use it. Problem solved!

Thank you for sharing your process on making teas. If you do decide to go the dehydrator route I would suggest the purposeful pantry on UA-cam. She has lots of information on learning to use a dehydrator. I just used mine to dehydrate Za’atar oregano from Baker Creek. I also dehydrate lemon slices when they’re in season to use my tea all year long.

I actually ordered some of the mints you mentioned after the last video where you shared ordering some. I do have a question, do you notice mints sometimes get white flies? If that occurs, I don’t want to spray anything on them since I’m going to be using them for tea and cooking.

I have and usually I’ll blast them with water a few days in a row and that clears them up!

I don’t! I used to put sugar in my tea but over the years used less and less and now I like the flavor on its own
