D Sproles went legend in this game...this was an amazing achievement for K State and their program..to go into a hostile environment and give up a first play rushing touchdown and then NOTHING the rest of the game was epic..K State smashed on Sooner Nation in their house..was beautiful..
I was at this game, it was in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. So more of a home field for State than Oklahoma. I was young but I remember they had a bag of Tostitos chips in each seat to represent the fiesta bowl, and I started throwing my chips at some big Oklahoma fan a few rows down. Well, my dad had to settle that score for me haha
I was the only person in America who wasn't a K-State fan who picked them to win this game. Had Roberson not been injured early in the season K state would have won it all.
I remember watching this in high school and was blown away because as an Oklahoman, we weren't used to seeing OU lose, and taken out like this. Our house wasnt OU or KState fans, but damn it was exciting to see Sproles and K-State tear it up.
I remember watching this game in college, blown out of our minds, wondering when OU would kick it into gear. K-State was amazing that night and played a perfect game.
What I have noticed, Oklahoma chokes in big games. A lot you look at their history of the BCS era. Lost the 2004 National Championship to LSU Got blown out in the 2005 National Championship by USC Lost in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl to Boise State Lost in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl to West Virginia Lost in the 2009 National Championship Game to Florida
Unforgettable, surreal night; we watched w/the AZ alumni at a bar in Glendale, AZ, but I had committed to provide score updates via texting on my Skypager to my brother, who got suckered into attending a show at McCain in Manhattan. Apparently when we turned the game in the 2Q, a crowd was forming in the balcony waiting for my updates. As ther game wound down in the 4Q, Jonathan Beasley (from Glendale) and his cousin got up and led the group in the K-S-U Wildcat cheer...
December 6, 2003. The same night I came down with the flu. If there's any benefit to running 103 degree fever, it's that I was too sick to care about my Sooners on the business end of one of the worst ass-whippings in school history. Damn, what a beating.
Yea i remember this one. I couldn't believe the beating KSU put on OU. Was very impressed KSU rolled up OU they way they did. To bad KSU lost against OSU though in the Fiesta Bowl. I'm a huge OSU fan though. But I always want to see KSU have great seasons.
I remember the "Greatest team ever" talk for Oklahoma in 2003. Reminded me of 2005 USC. Or how both the Patriots and Colts were called that in the NFL in years in which they ended up not winning the Super Bowl.
hey look, kansas satate was #15 but oklahoma was #1 at 8 minutes 53 you see this was Bill snyder's 15th season and his 1st conference title the numbers sure do match up
@Foothilldan1 Thanks for responding. I went to the USC/Kansas State game in 2001. Had alot of fun and of course we won the game. Not any pro teams in LA. Probably a Charger fan.
Yahweh or the Americanized, God, is my best friend, Savior, Creator, and Lord and it does hurt when ignorant people profane and not reverence His name. Believe me, God needs no defending and will not be mocked. We have no comprehension how big He is and how merciful He is. His patience will come to an end, however. There are going to be some very "disappointed" people.
Did it take awhile to come up with that? Whether you believe or not we all will make an account and face God in eternity. You best be on the right side. I don't need profanity to express myself.
@skankuser You won't be able to plead ignorance, now will you? You are definately a man of faith because it takes more faith to believe God doesn't exist, than to believe He does. Now tell me what man could have possibly concocted the 10 commandments? The answer is none. The Bible was written over 1600 years in 66 books by 40 authors yet it doesn't contradict itself. Length doesn't let me go on. Please do not fool yourself and do some research on reliability of Bible.
@skankuser No need to apologize to me. You will be meeting Yahweh when you enter into eternity. At that point it will be too late to say I'm sorry. For the way to life is narrow and only a few will find it.
@PVcat1 Never said there wasn't a God. I just said I didn't believe in yours. Ever thought I could be a Deist? And by the way, nice copy and pasting. You're obviously just starting to troll now.
@skankuser Why do you have to invoke God's name in vain over a football game. Do you have any idea who God is? He is your creator and creator over the universe.
Watching this never gets old what a game! EMAW!!
I will never forget this game ! Sooner defence looked like they ran a 5K by the 4th qtr. Trying to stop Sproyles ! Go Cats, statement made!!

Haha I love the comment they say about Nebraska coming down and accusing them of running up the score. Priceless
An early Bo Pelini gem, a sign of things to come with him.

Great night to be a wildcat fan YESSSS!

It's called the legend of "Big game Bob"!
Stoops easily one of the worst second-half coaches of all-time.

Ha I was ten and basketball was my main sport, but when it came to the Cats it was game on. I remember this game like crazy! Darren is a BEAST!
This was one AMAZING game. K-State had an incredible team, and the BEST of coaches.

Yea Bob Stoops is like 7-1 vs KSU and like 6-1 vs Bill Snyder. That is domination.
Way to go Dane...your mom said dinner is ready!
Snyder = one of the greatest coaches of all time, regardless of never winning a championship.
The day "Sooner Magic" died
My god, what an ass kicking of a team that was thought to be the best in the nation.
@neotri45 I miss these days. I was about 7 or 8. K State for life.
AMEN!

'Bout time someone put up highlights of this without making it into a god damn music video.
hey look, kansas satate was #15 but oklahoma was #1
at 8 minutes 53 you see this was Bill snyder's 15th season and his 1st conference title
the numbers sure do match up
Never count out a big-time senior QB. Roberson was the reason KSU won this game.
Can't argue with that comment. Believe it or not...that day will surely come to pass.
stand up for the champions
the two most forgotten teams in 2000s is K-State and WVU
@neotri45 Where did you find the torrent? Like you, I've been searching for 7 years...
where is the torrent at?
@Dallas31616 Same here brother, I was 13. I think I cried when I finally found the torrent of this after 7 years of searching lol.
Texas Tech alum...they're my #1 team, but K-State is my #2!
@mccoy4heisman yea kind of like texas losing to colorado in the 2001 big 12 championship game
@Foothilldan1 Thanks for responding. I went to the USC/Kansas State game in 2001. Had alot of fun and of course we won the game. Not any pro teams in LA. Probably a Charger fan.
@PVcat1 I'm more of an NFL guy, so I don't necessarily have a college team. Live in So Cal so kind of USC.
@Foothilldan1 Who is your team?
this was like watching Bush vs Fresno State in '05
@Dallas31616 The glory days aren't over yet...
@Dallas31616 Those days are coming back.
6:17 where did he come from??
Zero U
Big Shame Bob
That is all
this was embarresing D: Idk how we got into the title after this
@ThePeepee225 Ya liked that time K State kick Nebraska last year...oh wait. Anyways good luck against Baylor

And kansas st beats oklahoma again...

Cats again this weekend!
ksu !!!
If God means nothing to you why do you invoke a fictitious being? Fyi, I'm not religious either, just spirtual. Big difference.
@apcrimson28 Boo who, whaaaaaaa!
Boohoo. I can certainly tell you're from the Midwest. Wouldn't surprise me if you're from Kansas.

@ksuwillie17 lol "give me a break" Enjoy getting curbstomped in the Big 10 Nubs.
