Ou wasn't the national champion but they were in the BCS after this blowout loss whereas an undefeated Kansas state lost in 4 overtimes in 1998 and of course they were not invited. The politics of football is ruining it. The big 2 conferences don't have enough advantages so they sell a 12 team cfp with bye games for the top 4 teams. Guess who thats gonna be. Eight is enough.

Just a few years later and OU loses the same Big12 Championship and plays for the national championship because they had been overrated the whole season. Yeah, we're headed for 12 game cfp so the cabal can continue their ways and give the Alabamas and Ohio States a bye week.
