Just made a few of those tonight. I'm using them for Bluegill,using a #8 Mustad C71SSS......it's a circle hook,used them in small poppers for them and it's fun as all hell watching them run with it to get away from the others then they get to the end of the slack they hook themselves.All the commotion triggers them into a feeding frenzy. I use most for Catfish bait but do keep some of the larger ones to eat.
@@alecharveyfishingandflytying Can do,but won't be for several months,I don't fish in the winter as my fingers can't take the cold.I'll me sometime in May I get back out to wet a line.

@@alecharveyfishingandflytying I'll let you know. You can't lose with chartreuse! :-) I've had issues with even the water-based head cement dissolving my squirmy worm material.
Nicole if you tie the bodies as I describe in the video and use uv to seal them you will have no problem at all, I came up with this method many years ago and has been brilliant, varnish products kills the squirmy material, it melts it 👍🎣🐟
