    This is a key statement "The move to make Christianity the only legal religion represented not the Christianizing of the Roman Empire but the Romanizing of Christianity."
    I'd like to know a source to read more.

    You don't need to be reformed, but you have to be reborn.

      Being reborn has today a too wide meaning. Never lost is never saved.

      Being reformed helps you understand the faith and communicate it with others
      My understanding and ability to explain the true unadulterated gospel has gotten so much better after I became reformed

    You can't fix a culture. Relationship is a one on one commitment. Christ and me...me an individuals in my life. Not outside in, change culture...inside out, heart change. Pray without ceasing...speak truth in love when opportunity presents itself to individuals, group...some have wide sphere of influence...others have an intimate sphere of influence...take ur eyes off the waves and set them upon Christ

    You can't save the 'Culture' per se. The culture is an amorphous fleeting vapor and is defined by the people in it. What is needed is the preaching of the WHOLE Gospel and a movement of the Spirit to change the disposition of the heart towards God. When enough hearts are changed, and people live to glorify God, the culture will change. The culture is like politics, it is reflective of the people in it. A bad politician can't keep their seat unless the people are just as corrupt as said politician. The same goes for culture. Our culture is corrupt because the people are.

    Christian Nationalism is by and large how the West developed their laws. Hugo Grotius, John Locke, John Milton, Martin Luther, Johannes Althusius, William Blackstone, Emmerich de Vattel, the Baron Montesquieu, John Selden - Hebrew Scholar; Aristotle! And others. They looked to the Law of Nature, the Law of God. Aristotle said there was not a more excellent law than the Hebrew law. Religion was a big thing in the past & was very influential in forming the west. We've now rejected religion and ethics and therefore lost our identity as humans because there is no good Creator to prop us up. Preach the Gospel in and out of season. It's able to save and redeem and has over and over in His story.

      A law that’s good and practical and maximizes human overall prosperity derives from a sense of “true justice”, which usually stems from some kind of deity that ultimately defines the correct code of conduct; and from there we view that the human law is imperfect. That said, that sense of divine is not exclusively provided by the Gospel. If God so uses His Gospel in establishing the law, great. But Christians shouldn’t prioritize restoring Christian nationalism and subject themselves under the illusion that they’ll be able to convert Christians in masses when they preach the Gospel, which is what the Holy Spirit can do. Especially now when the weaker brothers and sisters in the church are unfamiliar with the differences, Mormons and Roman Catholicism, along with other organized religion that brand themselves as Christians that don’t truly preach the Gospel, we often fail to minister to the flocks within our congregation, which is a clear mandate for the people of God. We aren’t called to change the world before we manage our families, nor before we all come to the church and worship in harmony and partake at the Lord’s table.

    This is one of the problems with so-called "Christianity" and why so many people don't take it seriously, ignore it, make fun of it, etc... - because there are so many 'versions / styles / types (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Reformed, Evangelical, etc...). They all think that they are the correct / right one, and, they all have their pet 'Scripture Proof Texts" to justify their views / beliefs / reasoning.

    • @tomtemple69
      @tomtemple69 7 місяців тому

      The true religion is bound to have secta and divisions, why do you think Catholics and Orthodox are always in agreement? Because they make up authority outside of Scripture

      @tomtemple69 7 місяців тому

      What exactly does that mean? That term is so vague and unspecific
      Are Catholics regenerate? Are Eastern Orthodox regenerate? Are Mormons regenerate? They all believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit regeneration
