Adore Apollo. He’s one clever dude. Thanks for your enjoyable lovely videos.
❤️💛💚💙💜🖤
Bom trabalho parabéns
😊
😁❤
Such a sweet boy Apollo!🥰♥️ He needs to be involved in what his parents are doing lol😃 He was thinking: “Hmm, how can I help” Maybe if I act extra cute, they’d stop what they’re doing & give more more attention”🐴 Mr. Busybody he is😍😂
Apollo loves being on the planning and execution of the process. He knows exactly what is needed and how to get the job done.
We have also a squrrel view at coffee time, and fasan. It’s fun to follow them.
I really like Apollo what a great horse
Hope you didn’t have a wallet in your back pocket, Running Man. Big Friesian pick-pocket in your midst! 😂👍🏻💗 Lovely sound, Tara, water pouring from the kettle. It’s the little things, isn’t it-especially where contractors are concerned. 😤 And yes, let the box dry itself off. As I say frequently now, have to “pick your battles”-especially when there are lovely horses to spend time with! (Yes, and you, too, Ikey 😘👍🏻).
He really is! He's perfect in every way 😍💕💕💕💕💕
Apollo is such a funny boy 😂. He’s like ‘whatcha doin? Can I help???’
Oh I love this scamp.
The horse of my dreams!
❤️
Mini supervisor, huge supervisor!!!
Fancy the makers of the nut feeder taking into consideration that the hole would be wide enough to take a squirrel !
Wish we could jet wash our motorhome, because of the decals it's not advised, my husband does it all by hand, luckily he's not asked for my help so far !!
Your motorhome probably doesn't get used as much as our horse-box in winter😊
@@Tara101 - We actually only have the motorhome, no car so we are using it all the time & it's White !!! When we're going out for our fortnightly shop we keep expecting to get stopped by the police thinking we are off on our holidays ! Not happened yet but watch this space !!
Apollo loves his heard!
So enjoyed this video. Watched many time. Apollo is so entertaining and nosey.
👍🐴😁
This is Apollo in full mode supervising the "lads" on the job!
Apollo is quite the character! He really wants to be involved in everything that goes on. Had a much needed laugh over this and the last videos.😂😍🐴
Apollo is so tactile with his lips I suspect he will learn to fiddle that gate latch open. My first horse was very similar in that he would need to inspect anything done in his field. You would be on your hands and knees working away at something and feel a warm breath near your ear, turn and get a honking big nose in your face. If not that then a persistent tug on the bottom of your jacket or shirt. Nothing like a 1,200 pound helper. 🐴
👍🐴👍😂🥰
I think he also loves human company and look at Farouk wondering what’s going on Bless him 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴
Lol lol apollo is saying what cha doin daddy's? May I help?
Apollo is so sweet oh my goodness... lol
😂
Enjoyed watching your day. Thank you for sharing. Everything is beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it
Apollo is very well and happy.😊😊😊
Your beautiful babies!
Apollo is a wonderful supervisor!
Happy belated birthday Apollo friesians are my ultimate favourite breed xxx
Apollo say's thanks
Please give Apollo and Farouk love hugs and kisses forever!
So pretty out there and Apollo Is a hard worker!

Tara thanks
Wonderful very good from start to finish, and always a sight to see thanks rens, apollo, Farouk, Steve, and ike,and tara very good, very good video thanks..😀💕🐴👍😃🎶🐎🌳🎊🎉🍁
Many thanks!
You're lucky to have Running Man! Such a hard worker! And yes, it is hard to find good tradesmen.
Tell me about it
Wotcha doin' dad? I can help! 😂😂
😂🤣
Very entertaining Apollo is and like my fur baby that just passed he's nosey ,curious and playful. And lovable My baby loved to help us garden, he'd dig a hole for us or move wood when chopping and make his own piles. They are hilarious and adorable ! Even ike and Farouk wanted too put their two cents in🥰😁p.s great job steve and rens such hard workers
👍🥰
I really like Apolo
Apollo is very affectionate. What an incredible horse! You are so fortunate!,
So happy I found your channel, your videos are getting me through this pandemic !!!
Welcome!
I think you could train Apollo to do anything. If you ever need help with any landscaping, or gardening, etc., I think he would be happy to do the digging and move any rocks that need moving...lol
Loved!! Also enjoyed Sir Ikesalot.
Ohhh! Shirley Reever I LOVE your name "Sir Ikesalot"!
@@yvonnerahmes9618...Notice how Sir Ikesalot remains vigilant to observe those caring for his domain?
@@SReever Oh yes, he knows ALL and is on top of everything! I think he could rule the world :)
I laughed so hard at Farouk supervising the guys fence repair. Ike on the other side making sure proceedure is followed. 😂Those boys are so beautiful. Steve & Rens did a smashing job on the fence, 👍
👍🥰🐴🐴
My life is so boring and your videos are so enjoyable and makes me feel a part of your crowd. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰❤👍👍👍🙋♀️

You are such a dedicated lady:) everything is so clean and taken care of Farouk and appollo are very well loved. Please keep us updated with the yearling events 😃🙏🏼😃you and adventures are always so exciting !

Apollo is so sweet. I so enjoyed this video of you all working and Apollo helping. He's just lovely and so heartwarming how he loves being with you all. 😊🙄😁❤️💕💜♥️💙💖

Awwwww Bless him he’s still busy helping I love him he’s adorable . 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I just love hoe much Apollo wants to be near his humans!,! It’s adorable.
👍🥰
Hi Tara, I hope that you find what your looking for, are you getting a filly? my this weather's chopping and changing isn't it, it's been cold here the last couple of days and you can really feel the difference in the temperature, hope you all had a good weekend, Ike you're a good boy making sure everythings being done properly, Apollo's being a good little helper there, a nosy horse is only like us asking questions, my dogs are the same always wanting to know what we're doing, our animals are the mirror of ourselves, kind humans have kind animals, nasty humans have nasty animals, I feel for the animals in the latter situation as they must be very unhappy, bless them, you've nothing to worry about as your boys are kind, clever and beautiful minded and that's because you are, you moulded their characters with all that beauty, have a good day my lovelies sending big warm hugs to you all xxxxxx
The weather has be awful this weekend. We have not had much in the way of rain which our little paddock really needs.
@@Tara101 We haven't had rain either but the weather said we would, aw can you not hose pipe the paddock, mother nature can be mean, hope the paddock doesn't suffer too much, hugs hun x
Thats Appolo's spot !
They are so funny, Apollo just wanted attention, and all of the attention. And obviously that clump of grass was special, and much tastier than all the other grass.
😂
Hi...Just love your videos ! - I love to tune in each day and see what you have all been up to. So uplifting during the Lockdown. Your "kind a life is my kind a life " being outdoors, a bit of hard graft, surrounded by lovely animals , sharing all this with a close knit family - Perfect ! After Boris's recent update it now seems I can drive out into the countryside for my daily exercise instead of pounding the streets in town...Yippee !!....I love spring time, seeing all the flowers coming through and blossom on the trees. Each year I set myself the task of seeing wild violets...and lucky enough just before the Lock Down I saw some. I always tell myself it brings me luck ! Looking forward to tomorrow's video ...Bet you are all very excited at the prospect of an addition to the
"Tara Camp"...Take Care...Bye for Now xx 💚🙂
yes we are very excited about getting a new yearling 🥰
I swear Apollo is really part service animal! You guys need to give him more chores about the farm. He really wants to branch out I think. Frankly, i get the feeling Apollo could run the place and charge admission in your absence!
😂
Apollo is adorable (although I can imagine did start to get in the way a bit 🤣). I love how curious he is and chose to spend time with humans rather than eating grass with his buddy, until of course he saw Farouk getting some attention from 🏃♂️. It’s so frustrating trying to find good trades people, so many seem to be content with doing a shoddy job, so when you find good ones you really want to hold on to them 😊 The repair of the gate post really was a family affair 😂
🥰♥️💜💚💛💙
Hi Tara, really enjoying the videos, I love Apollo and Farouk, hacks, training, not ever having a horse I enjoy seeing how much care and work needed and the time it takes, lol at the comments, Farouk hiding behind a tree in case he has to do some work. Apollo is such a people horse, he just loves being around you.
Question, why do you need a yearling, I am worried in case you are thinking of selling the lovely Apollo and Farouk, they couldn’t go to a better home then they have. And some people just don’t care or understand what they need.
I have an eye on the future as I am sixty this year and Farouk might be too sharp for me in three years time, but may be not. If I get a youngster now he will be at an age in three years time that I have a choice. I may keep them both or I may sell Farouk or the new arrival. Apollo is Rens's horse so not mine to sell.
Still young then, the Queen is 94 and still rides😂
”Can I help you with something, guys ?” 😆😆😆
This was such an endearing video, I chuckled through the whole thing :) Your boys make everyone love them! I also love seeing your dh Rens and brother Steve take up and do what needs to be done! You Tara are no stranger to hard work, the lorry looked marvelous when you were done! It almost seemed like you were living in KS with the wind (that never stops in KS)... "Sir Ikesalot" (as Shirley Reever so aptly dubbed him yesterday) was tip top on the job, I just have the urge to pick him up and RUNNNN... but he knows where he wants to be and exactly how he will bend the world :)
My dh turned 70 last month and he's still the best handyman I've EVER known and no stranger to hard sustained physical work. I didn't know where or how life would go when me and my twin Yvette were young. I am grateful and happy to be alive at 63 with my dh still :) He loves the birds, bees, and squirrels-all creatures great and small... He loves the flowers and landscaping and time outside, he's still devoted to his job of taking care of all animals including ours :)
I am so excited to see your journey of an addition to the family Tara! You and your family remind me it's a great life after all, no matter what comes along...
Lovely to see a wife praising her husband, rather than listing his shortcomings. Women in good, or at least tolerable, marriages often forget how fortunate they are.
It's great to hear your Hubby still does veterinary work ♥️💚💜💙💛
Haha!!! Und Fourok ist der Oberaufseher, der schon schauen kommt, wie lange das noch dauert, diese Störung XXXD
My husband is an amazing carpenter what he puts up never comes down with out a struggle, has he see’s it has if you do a job then it’s gota be done write first time!
👍🥰
Apollo has the Farouk head toss down pat! Both of these horses are beautiful. What a gorgeous view from your yard. Apollo is a smart boy … and he is very interested in what his people are doing. But he is also in the way. Rens and Steve are both patient with him but what a good idea to give Farouk some attention, and get Apollo's jealousy to move him away from the work area. Thank goodness Ike was on the job.
There is never an end to the repairs, little jobs, bigger jobs and errands! I don't think you are alone in having trouble finding good tradespeople. You have builders, a plumber, and an electrician that are reliable, so that's a great start. Hopefully if you have more things to do you can find folks who will do a quality job. It sure is frustrating when they do half a job and leave a mess.
We don't understand why some trades people do a half hearted job🧐
Yours is a supervisor! Often, horses like this are also often caretaker types who are quite sensitive to your mood and outlook.
Apollo is a sensitive horse🥰
My cat was on my lap watching the video. He purred when he saw Apollo, Farouk and the squirrel. Did not take notice of Ikie. Dogs are not a novelty for him. A great day for setting a fence post, washing a horse box, same for horse washing. When I wash my car, it is sure to rain within the week.
🤣👍
Apollo wants to help bless his heart❤❤🐴🐴
OMG...can I just come from states and spend the weekend with you? Apollo :::THUD::: What a character! I've yearned for a Friesian since my first encounter, 1980. I have 2 of those "squirrel slinky feeders", feed my "kids" - deer/birdies, etc. LOL!, too. Cheers, Be Safe!
👍😊👍
Apollo was very amusing and clever to save that precious clump of grass! You didn't seem very keen on cleaning the horsebox (I don't blame you!) You made me laugh when you said 'it lived out'! 🤣 Looking forward to the update regarding the yearling - I was wondering how that was going in the current situation ...🤔
I am not keen on washing the box or the car.
Good job Rens putting him in his place.
👍
I think all the buckets are tempting the horses even tho there's no food in them 😂
I’m sure you could train Apollo to pass item to Steve and Rens buckets etc. The tree gives a bit of shade too.
Really enjoy your videos. The past few days we have had snow flurries and very cool temperatures for May here in Southern Ontario Canada. Down below freezing at night so I have not planted any annuals or veggies yet. Apollo is sooo curious and Farouk looks so relaxed having his minibath. I bet they appreciate the warm water you have available outside. Looking forward to you searching for another horse. I think you mentioned at one point either Apollo or Farouk would be sold. Does Rens ride Farouk at all?
Apollo is Rens's horse so he wont be sold. I may sell Farouk but I may not, there is a few years before any decision is made and a lot can happen in that time.
Hi Tara, what a great Horse, always good for a laugh, his bottom inspections are hillarious...😂😂😂 nice squirrel ....we only have the red and almost black ones in our Area here in Germany...
Take care Dagmar ❤❤❤
🥰
Nice conclusion to installing the new fencepost with Apollo's help and Farouk looking on. Steve and Rens were very tolerant of their tall assistant. LOL
That squirrel was quite clever balancing himself through the opening of the bird feeder. I have at least one squirrel who frequents my yard. About two weeks ago I heard an unusual sound coming from birds in my front yard and saw two mockingbirds dive-bombing at a squirrel in the crepe myrtle tree outside one of my front windows, and the squirrel was desperately trying to get to the ground but the birds wouldn't let him. He eventually made it a little higher in the tree and went back up the way he had come and ran back across the rooftop. I had never personally seen birds do that before.
Then a couple of days ago I saw the reason why. They had built a nest in the shrubbery next to that tree, and now the two baby birds were out of the nest and were perched in the lower branches of the tree chirping for their mother to bring them food. I enjoyed watching them up close from my window for quite a while. A crepe myrtle has multiple thin branches growing upward instead of a tall single trunk so is not a suitable spot for a bird's nest but made for a good temporary perch. The tree produces beautiful fuschia colored blooms beginning in late June to October and is mainly in the southern states. The mockingbird is the state bird of Texas and of four other states as well.
Nicely written.
tfs Suzanne ♥️💚💙💜💛🥰
@@jeanetteh.9240 Thanks ☺️
Suzanne Young !
Apollo loves being around Steve and rens .he's so clever 🐎 was that bird feeder squirrel proof Tara 😁
no it's not😂
Leave the horse alone. He & the dog are supervising the job. It's so funny watching them supervise.
Yeah ...I’ll join you for coffee sounds good ...... Apollo must like the smell of humans seems to be sniffing around .....he must just love being around people ...another lovely day but still a bit of wind .....I’m back at work on Thursday after 7 weeks lockdown ...it will be good to catch up with clients ...are you looking forward to your visit to the hairdresser Tara ?
I am wish you were her to do mine😊
I told my lot to just snip off anything that was annoying them and I’d deal with it when I saw them . I will be bringing my scissors with me to England so ONE DAY I will be able to give you and Rens a tidy up 👍
A friend of ours had an Arab stallion who liked to be around people working. When they weren’t looking, he ran off with their tools.
😂🤣
I am convinced that Apollo has come down from Olympus and taken the form of your dear horse.
😂
Er ist der Golden Retriever bzw. Maine Coon unter den Pferden XD Immer am Menschen, sensitiv und neugierig, er könnte ja was verpassen.
Lol Apollo took a fancy to Rens watch , it seems some tradesman take on jobs to keep staff and pay wages and bills and seem to rush about on jobs to cram as many jobs in as possible ,but that's when jobs get bits missed out or just not done to a good standard. Apollo in a hurry incase he misses out on the best patch of grass certainly doesn't like to be missing out on the action so to speak. You could probably teach Apollo to hold tools and pass them over he sees himself the foreman on the job, watch out ikey Apollo is musseling in on your supervisor position lol.🐎🐶
👍😂🤣🐴
Yea! Part 2 of a lovely weekend in Yorkshire with Tara, Rens, Apollo, Farouk and Ikie, supervisor extraordinaire! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Tara, Rens and Steve, Apollo loves to help. I agree Tara, a little 🐒 Very interested and intelligent 🐴🌈👍🙏🤩. Farouk asking where’s me carrot 🥕?
yes he is, but I told him that Apollo would share as long as he shared his on his birthday 😂
Yes fair fair 😜🥕🥕👍
Apollo is making sure everything lines up correctly, lol. He's so cute! ❤️
Talented, knowledgeable tradesmen have been on the decline for a couple of decades, I find. Primarily because of the push for ALL students to attend college. Happy to see that trend turning! Love seeing the interaction and curiosity w/of the boys. The wonderful teamwork you all display is inspiring!
🤞
This was so much fun to watch; always more fun to watch hard work than to do it. 🤗 I LOL when you shooed Apollo back; he stood back but kept his eye on you as if to say, "bbbbbbut they love having me help!" So funny and I dream about those ears. Good on Rens for slowing Apollo down, making him walk behind. After all, Rens is in charge, not Apollo or Farouk. It was kind of neat though, to hear them call to each other. Gorgeous pheasant and his harem. Will they nest on your property? Or will Mr. Fox make sure they don't? Love to all your boyos. Stay well. ❤🐎❤🏃♂️❤🙏
I don't think they will nest here
Oh I loved this. My favorite parts are of Apollo helping. He's so curious. I just love him so much. Good job Rens and Steve. They are amazing.
Looking forward to what the video is of tomorrow.
I bought an electric bug zapper for my barn owners barn to help combat flies when they do get bad. I offered to help pay just a bit extra on my boarding fee as it will require electric. Since it was my idea, I felt like it was only the proper thing to do. He didn't ask me to. I just want to help out. He has a horse in the next stall so maybe it will benefit his, too. They are not bad at all yet. They are only stalled at night from 6 p.m. to about 7 a.m. if it's stormy, they stay in.
Hugs sweet lady. Love ya dearly...
that was very kind of you to offer, I hope he declined
@@Tara101 yes he did. These are wonderful people.😊
Coral Cannon very thoughtful and generous of you to provide the bug zapper. 💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing! I love watching Apollo “helping” with projects - he is so curious and really wants to be involved in the goings on. I know you are going to buy another horse but I can’t imagine you would ever sell Farouk!
I may not, there is a few years before any decision is made and a lot can happen in that time.
we've lost the good weather down south, but your videos always brighten any day ! Apollo so funny, I'm sure if you'd given him a shovel he's have helped more ! Glad Mr Pheasant survived the horrible shooting season xx
Maria Clements I’ll agree with that .
Gotta luv Apollo 😍😍 he’s the biggest puppy around. Sticky beak and loving - the perfect combo 😃 that squirrel was determined and very well balanced!! Lucky pheasant I’ll say 👌 looking forward to yearling searches again 👏👏
He sure is an intelligent and beautiful animal. Throughout history you have to wonder how many horses like him have helped humanity in its accomplishments. He’s so interested and invested in what you’re doing. After all, it’s work being done on his paddock!
👍🥰
Apollo is so gentle. We have the same problem here. It seems like its hard to find someone to do the small jobs, and do them well. But you are lucky you have to men who can do it better. Thank you for sharing.
Yes they do
Apollo is just so helpful! ❤️
Foreman Apollo supervising the work. He's certainly a curious fellow 😊
I love your horse box.. I've been thinking of buying one, but their hard to find here in the States.. Do you have any recommendations on where I could buy one there and have it shipped here? Thank you in advance.. Love your little family humans and animals.. You guys make my day with every video.
yes we got ours from www.alexandershorseboxes.co.uk/used-horseboxes/. We highly recommend them, that's why we went back to them when it was time to get a new box.
Lovely to see the boys in the paddock while you get on with jobs, Apollo just loves his humans 😂👍🏻
I've never built anything in my life, but watched my father doing things around the house and the yard. And even I know you're supposed to put a gate post (and deck and porch supports) into cement. My goodness- so frustrating isn't it?
Apollo just loves his family so much he just wants to be with you all and he gets the attention he seeks. He’s very smart. When I had a horse property my 2 Arabs and a Percheron x used to stand in the front doorway of lounge and verandah and just hang out with family. They could go anywhere in the fields but no the front door of the human stable was the place to be. Loved the pheasants and squirrel. I wished we had squirrels in Oz. Oh cant wait till tomorrow’s foal update. ☺️
tfs horses can be very interactive if people allow them to be 🥰
Oh, the wonderful world of animals... life would sure be boring without them 😊💗
LivingTheDream That’s the TRUTH! Life would be much less happy & have a lot less love & laughter without animals. No matter what creatures people choose to share their lives with all are special & can help us in so many ways, weather they help us heal, act as our companions or are in our lives for a brief time as was the 1st dog who grabbed my heart & took a giant piece of it with him years ago;all of them are capable of teaching us valuable lessons if we only take time to listen & understand what they want us to know.🥰
Fortunate Tara that you have two practical and “hands on” men in your life. I had a cat in Germany like Apollo, she was also interested in every thing I did, and was wonderful company.
♥️💚💙💛
Good morning Tara & Rens, hope the spring day ahead will be wonderful. It’s now almost 4.00pm in Melbourne, a bit chilly and grey so it’s indoors with the heating on weather. Coffee and Cheesecake time.
Apollo is such a character. He's so funny. And Farouk came to see what it was all abt, but as you say Tara didnt get too close in case it was back to stable time ! Loved seeing the squirrel and his gymnastics so close up. Amazing. And the gorgeous pheasant and harem. Great video again 😊🐎
Who’s got the job of painting the estate fencing lol.
Sweet little squirrel having a snack on nuts.
We got pheasants that walk onto our paddocks after our bird feeders ..we love them there.
Apollo more like a dog then a horse.
