It looked like Apollo was walking so carefully with Rens on his back, seems to lengthen his stride when Steve rides. Even in trot he is careful, perhaps he knows. Very astute clever horse. Lovely seeing you both out.
Aww how wonderful for you both to be out & about again. Ren's is doing great & I do feel as though Apolo is more sensitive & gentle with Ren. Thank you for sharing Tara. ❤
Lovely! Must have been so hard for Rens to be around your magnificent boys and not be able to ride. Great that he’s able to do so again. Thank you for sharing!

Well done Ren's and of course Apollo. I had a feeling you were going through the gate. Milestone tick. Nice change of scenery for them on what looks like a pleasant day. Hope Ren's enjoyed it. Apollo did seem very slow and steady. Looking after his passenger. Hugs.xx
Good to see Rens back in the saddle & going through the gate, wonderful achievement, always feels good when you manage a little further in what ever you do in life !
Nice to see Rens back in the saddle as we say here. Hooray for entering your first gate Rens!😃 I always enjoy seeing St. Gregory's. Nice of Apollo to go slowly and carefully for Rens.💕 And you're so careful to watch for him.💜
I think Apollo was mindful that usually Ren turns back at the gate that’s why he hesitated after gate. Such an intelligent animal and he’s stepping shorter to keep his novice rider comfy in the saddle. Well done Ren on real progress with the winding and challenging terrain. Wonderful scenic rides ahead.
Lovely to see Rens back in the saddle am glad he is feeling better. I suffer terribly with my back (taking Morphine and Tramadol daily) and there’s many times I have had to not ride because I have been too sore. However riding and strengthening my core helps the back no end. Love the new saddle pad too x
Looking very sharp, Rens! Love Apollo‘s new numnah! 🐴🥰🥰🥰 You passed through the gate! New riding territory! New riding level! Well done you, Rens! 🎉🎉🎉 Time for drinks on the patio! 🍷🍷
Well done Ren and Apollo. Love the new saddle blanket. Here in Vt., it's in the 30's, frost on the grown on October . Soon Killington will be making snow for the skiers. I could hear Ikey having a few words.

Great too see Rens back in the saddle, I think he needs to get a matching orange top now too 😂 Apollo takes such good care of him and even walks slowly. Horses are so amazing and really do adapt to different riders ( if they had the right training) which Apollo certainly has 👍 What a milestone to go through the gate too 👏
Nice ride for you both. Used to live in Yorkshire and miss it when I see your clips. Your hard work has paid off, you have 2 lovely well behaved and rider sensitive horses.
I'm happy that Ren's back has improved! And he's still just a young person. By the way, Apollo definitely knew he had a novice tacking him up and was acting it in a well-mannered way.
Ah....the Minster Graveyard...imagine how many walked/rode to it in the past. Ren and Apollo did great with those tree roots. Lovely day....really love going through the woods, either on horseback, walking a dog or just plain walking alone. Really miss it but this is the next best thing! I believe little Ike was protesting being left behind 😄 do I foresee someone wearing a doggy carrier on future rides out so the supervisor can tag along 💙 I can just imagine how adorable that would be 🤩
Good to see Rens out riding again and his confidence building. He will enjoy being off the road with all the new experiences of riding in the countryside. Thank you Tara. Best wishes to you all M
Oh, that is great to see you and Rens out together. I think many horses but especially social and intelligent horses, sense when to be extra careful. So good to see Rens back on Apollo again. They make quite the handsome pair with the red shirt and orange saddle pad. And you Tara, are you still on a high from Farouk's win with the muddy drop off stream? I love that little stretch up on the hill with the greenery and the gate. My first job was as a trail guide for a horse ranch that leased horses to the public by the hour. All the trails were like that one. At the beginning of each riding season all the guides would have to ride through the trails with machetes to clear them again. If so, this is yet another thing that will help Rens's confidence in his horse if you ask him and then tell him what I thought. Apollo is more intuitive than most horses it seems. You should teach Rens the "foot" command to help with his confidence over rough terrain like that. Great job! Two thumbs up and five stars! Pats, carrots and hugs for Rens. : )
Just stumbled on your beautiful video. I have had back surgery and imagine the look on a doctor’s face if I suggested riding. Tara...Thank you for sharing your personal life with us....I am so pleased you and Rens found each other. You are both such lovely people. Hope you have many years of happiness together..xxx
Several questions please: Apollo was so affectionate towards you in 1st video of you together. Is he still like that now that you've been riding Farouk? Is the person riding Farouk your relative? Is this person a man or woman. And yes, in USA horse's back cover is called a SADDLE BLANKET. Where are you located and what is it called there? I amin Berkeley, CA in USA. Thank-you for your response😍
It's lovely to see you both out riding together Tara, the orange numnah looks amazing against Apollo's black coat, he's a wonderful all round horse for a beginner like Rens and an advanced rider like you, is it Apollo's gentle nature or in the breed in general? tfs x Julie

Hi Tara I loved seeing you and Ren riding together I wanted to ask you a question hope it's not stupid but I was wondering why Apollo has shoes and Farouk doesnt? just was curious lol
Apollo may not need shoes now, I will do a video when he next goes to the Farrier
You have a tzu! He’s the same coloring as my baldwin, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
he is tzu x Bichon 😊
my daughter gonna need steps to get on a horse
Rens looks good on Apollo... I'm glad he's feeling better and ready to ride again 😊 You are blessed to have such a wonderful husband... one that shares your passion with horses... he's adorable 💗 You two make a nice couple...may I ask how long you have been married? And how did you meet?
we met on the internet, six years ago 🥰
Tara...Thank you for sharing your
personal life with us....I am so pleased
you and Rens found each other.
You are both such lovely people.
Hope you have many years of happiness
together..xxx
thank you ISME🥰
@@Tara101 I agree! You two are so sweet together! ♥️
Thank-you for your response😍
we are in North Yorkshire England. Apollo is now my husbands horse. I still school him and also my Brother (aka Running Man) rides him.
Was Ikie barking to go with you? 😎
👍 he hates being left behind
Super
It's lovely to see you both out riding together Tara, the orange numnah looks amazing against Apollo's black coat, he's a wonderful all round horse for a beginner like Rens and an advanced rider like you, is it Apollo's gentle nature or in the breed in general? tfs x Julie
It's the breed but Apollo is exceptional 🥰
He certainly is an exceptional horse 💕
Guess I should have read Lynsheesan’s message, seems we noticed the same
I call mine a saddle pad.
Nice Tara❤️
So say there tara what to do during the fall there in the UK in y'all's neck of the woods 🤔🤔🤔😲
I school in the manege or if very bad weather go to the indoor arena which is five mins away in the horse box. We hack out as often as we can😊if there is no snow or rain
@@Tara101 ohhh wow that's amazing love with you do there very fascinating 👍
