maybe do it, at some point where the amount of other drivers are way lower, driving fast in the middle of day is dangerous and irresponsible, while he seems to have everything under control, he cant control how other drivers react, and therefore he should do touge runs at night

Yes sadly. These cars are becoming very old and good examples of them are naturally becoming expensive. They are also icons and everyone wants one so people can charge whatever and are guaranteed a purchase

@@beautifulbeaner Sorry I was referring to the Rx7 and my point stands haha. I’d much rather have a boosted B or k series integra. It’s easier to awd swap it and although the dsm engines are great, it’s clear Honda made better NA engines.

Hey man, love your videos! You are a really good driver. To be fast and safe, make sure you know the road well and apply the correct gear before entering each corner, then figure out exactly where the brake zones are. That car sounds amazing! Cheers from another FD touge driver.

I’m sure if you drove a little more aggressive and took advantage of Nathan’s slower moments you would have pulled around him. I know there are other variables but you mentioned you are double his wheel HP already. More seat time and more aggressive on the entrance of the corners. Swing a little out then enter that corner tight as you know. DOPE VIDEO THOUGH! Loved it! Can’t wait to see the progress. PS…blurr your plate bro lol

small tip: try exporting your final edited video in 1440p or 4k, youtube compression will allow a much higher bitrate and it will look much better.

It's really wild to for me to see such wide mountain roads, I'm so jealous. Where we do the runs it's just so tight, cars can't pass it they are coming the other way and it has lead to us all having to do it late at night or super early in the morning making it super dangerous at times (not fun, trust). Also, I'm surprised the Miata is doing so well on the straights. I always knew my old NC was faster in the turns by a mile but goddamn it's actually ok on the longer stretches

Great content and cool video angle. That stance life is hurting your cornering ability (I think I'm hearing your tires scrubbing the fenders). Get some meaty tires and raise it up a little to get the proper angle for suspension geometry and you'll be all on him.
Miata performance is under rated. They have amazing suspensions
