I live about an hour away from Atlanta and I went to an Atlanta United game last fall. To be in the stadium and watch the roof open and look around in the stadium is an amazing experience.
My dad helped build this stadium. He is a fabricator. I work with him there now. I wasn't there then, but now I am building the chargers/rams stadium in Los Angeles, and the raiders stadium in Las Vegas, and also the most advanced hospital in the world mira loma. It bobs up, and down 8 inches during an earth quake, and can move side to side almost 7 feet. I also helped build the pedestals underneath it :)

Don Mallon as a united fan the falcons crowds are bigger bc they don’t open the upper level for most United games-United does fill a higher percentage of the seats that are available for each game tho I believe
@@LarzBoss trust me when I say this but I talked to many architects in my internships and they've told me that they use Public Funding to build football stadiums this is one of them now it may not be 100% publicly-funded but significant amounts of money did come from public fundings.

I'll agree that football or soccer is an international sport. I will dispute Rugby. It is played by England, South Africa, Wales, Scotland, France, NZ, Aussie, Argentina, Ireland and Japan (smaller scale)! You notice that in Rugby, Scotland, Wales, etc are all considered countries? If these "2x4 provisional towns" are countries, then each US state should each be considered "continents" with more people more GDP $$$.
They wouldn't build a stadium like that for an MLS team, the only reason they use that stadium is because the Falcons owner also owns Atlanta united if not they would be playing in a regular 25k seat stadium. Note the fact that the MLS is not that big and the player talent in the MLS isn't as big which is why it is easier for them to win more games than the Falcons.
