Hello Ryan, I like what you have done here. My cart has an older installation that looks like a multi-color LED light in a clear plastic tube. I want to remove the old system, and do what you did with the wheels but I want to add LEDs to more areas than just the wheels. I have my dash tilted back slightly which creates a 1 inch wide lip at the top. A perfect place to add 6 to 8 inches of a colored LED strip on the underside of the lip, so that the light shines down on to the dash. I want that strip to be blue. I want another set of strips attached to the under side of the aluminum frame. Can I glue these strips to the aluminum frame ? Or do I need a clear plastic sleeve in order to allow me to attach the strip to the metal frame? I want the strips on the metal frame to be a different color. Do I need a separate transformer for that? I also want another strip that goes all the way around the inside of the roof. Are all of your strips one color for each strip? Are you using some electronic device to change the color on a strip? Since I am already using a 30A 12V voltage regulator, do I need a transformer? Does the strips use 4 wires or 2 wires? Your wires inside the flex loom looked like it was 2 wire. Do you have a separate switch going to each strip so that different areas can be on or off? Thanks. Brent
I did that in the first video. But even in that video I showed the aluminum ones. The reason I did it with a bucket is because just about anyone could acquire those parts easy to diy a set.
Its all good. There are ton of people making these now but I have been making wheel lights for my golf carts for years. I just dont like the regular golf cart parts.
That cart is sick looking!
Looks great Ryan! I remember your initial set using trimmed buckets as your light rings. I really want to do this on my cart. Appreciate the vid! 🍻
can you show how you cut and make the rings?
Do you have a link to where you bought the aluminum flat bar? Rings look great!
That Lutron shot is 🔥. Looks great man. Keep it up
Where did you find the lights and thin aluminum I wanna make some for my cart
Your idea is really great, this wheel light belt looks cool, and it would be even better if you could change the lighting
I’ve done that in the past but this being a white cart I just wanted a white light!
Looks great! You should have used the "hubs" sticker for the hub lights
love ur aluminium home made round bracket man.. DiY at your best :)
Ryan could you tell me who you buy your aluminum stock from ? Thanks..........
what tool did you use to bend the metal
Thanks for another great video. Did you order your flat stock online? If so, who did you order it from?
did you install an inline fuse ??
Do you run all 4 lights to one plug up top or are there 4 separate plugs into the controller?
I'd buy a set if you sold any....! Just got my cart and want lights soon. May try to make them.

I could be wrong but I remember seeing using a 1 gallon bucket and cutting 1” rings

Somebody’s going to steal you wheel light idea and make a million bucks
