As a dead cells player the way they executed the transfer of John dead cells to skul is 100% accurate to the play style of each game even if he is especially independent in a game meant to be played with 2 skulls

Treasure is probably one of the best inscriptions you can get even before the final update.
Treasure lvl 4 give you a chance not only to get money and items you can just sell to build up gold for the shops but also bone fragments that you can use to easily get your legendary skulls and max out Arachne's sacrifice alters.
Grab 1 item with Treasure, go to the shop and active one of the inscription box's with Treasure and your at level 2 giving you gold to buy stuff easily and find 2 more items, at times I can get it to lvl 4 in the first stage before or after the first adventurer fight.
After your at Treasure lvl 4 always go through the skeleton doors to either find a skull you want to use or just to collect fragments, you need 150 fragments for each Arachne alter so 450 to max out, I could have sworn with how many fragments I had collected and used I have over 800.
The final Treasure inscription from the witch is pretty much op, you get a choice of 3 items that uses Treasure inscription with each inscription gives you 5% amplified damage and it adds 1 inscription for each one you already have of other items, even ones that have just 1 that require 2 to be active giving you more stuff for the final fights.
Truly a set up and final inscription is fitting and worthy for The King. :)

See, there's a reason that he's called King. It's because he dominates the game. And the Unknown King? I dunno.
I know you've argued against in the past, but i love doing rapidity king runs. it does SO MUCH DAMAGE
I did some testing and found out the following about the Golden King's Blessing item.
1) If multiple are obtained (note: only possible via cheats), their invincibility effect will trigger one at a time.
2) The invincibility will only trigger if any damage would be taken.
3) The cooldown for the invincibility starts after the invincibility expires.
This means that with 6 of them in the inventory, Skul becomes completely invincible.
Actually insane that they don't all take priority and activate together. Other effects tend to do that.
Obviously the King's Judgement is kinda nuts, but I think this build would have been perfect for the King's Grace. Returning 75% of a skills cooldown with Withered Hand and Silent Cries seems good and fun, plus the bone that amps your damage every few skills. Big Chop go brrr

Pot of Greed with that inscription is bound to be interesting when watching what the other items became.
Suspicious start to a beautifully rigged run! Always love seeing King tear the enemies inside-out, but didn't think they'd return Masterpiece Clone Stamp in this way. Works well as an extra incentive for people to not sleep on Treasure, but definitely fitting for the King to get access to a special Blow at the end!

Beelz you could have talked to the skill reroll npc on act 4 while you exchanged the broadsword in the chest to guarantee atleast one trap skill and have the broad sword as an insurance

beelz, I prepose an experiment: do a "normal" run (pick whichever skull you want, and just do a run "off screen"), the when you reach the end of the dad fight, rig in EVERY item with a treasure inscription, then go up to the castle and check the Golden King's chest (with Collection Desire, of course). I just really want to see all the items from this inscription.

Wow, I think Treasure may just be the best inscription in the game. Treasure is useful through the entire run, The Golden King's chest is nuts(Clone Clone Returns!), and it has The Ring and Pot of Greed.

After having played Dead Cells enough to get to the Hand of the King for the first time, I can really say that Prisoner Skull is an excellent port of the headless from Dead Cells, especially in their feelings of speed.
Both feel so similarly fast and zippy that it's really addicting, my main reason as to why Prisoner is my favorite Skull in the game along with the obvious.
The 1st King yay..... Also after seeing the upgraded version of the Treasure Inscription and the Golden King's treasures I kinda want King Midas to be added, like a skull who truly turns his enemies into income like Cobolt

I just did a treasure 4 run and it turned out super blessed, 2 the rings in act 1! and daddy lich blessed it twice, i had to sell a couple useful items to guarantee that 2nd the ring and the next shop just handed em right back to me lol.
I definitely saw the same skull during emperor's meteor attack, I'm not sure if its dark skul or not, but yeah you definitely saw the same thing I did, I thought I was going crazy seeing it

treasures so busted, actually gives way for builds that really dont strive for anything in particular, you know, builds you pull out of your *ss, my kind of build in a sense
So glad you finally did an enhanced treasure cause its so disgusting. But if you do a warrior run, you have to take strike at the end. I got a little lucky with my items and was able to one shot dark skul first phase doing, no joke, 221k in dmg! Wish I screen grabbed it, even so I was critting for about 30k on avg. It was jaw dropping the numbers.
If your planning to get treasure upgrade before the dark skul. Take luna ring or sun sword. It will upgrade to double luna or double sun because of +1 to all inscriptions
Forbidden sword in the first shop and then hope slasher in the second shop is INSANE this is a blessed run if ive ever seen one and im only like 5 min into the video
After the last update before this one; I have not been able to get cloned stamp/prince's box masterpiece to do some inscription shenanigans. Hopefully one day i can find it and couple it with treasure buff for some ultra inscription shenanigans.

If you were to have 4 items dedicated to Treasure inscriptions your build's damage would probably be lacking to some extent so it's actually balanced that Treasure+ is so crazy good because you're missing out on a lot of powerful item effects... also stacking up a lot of singular inscriptions with strong effects at 2 inscriptions + collection desire would be kinda crazy kekw
Yeah you're basically sacrificing some damage (assuming you aren't using The Pot, Ring, Gold Sword/Wand (All great damage options)) for the majority of the run so you can become a turbo lord at the end. The sheer fact collection desire helps boost your base damage and then you get at least a 35% dmg amp on top of all this is ridiculous.

I used to rig (before legend bacanudo came around, kudos!) with cheat-engine. You can just get 999k gold and infinitely re-roll the shops.
If you want to do a special rng-heavy run (and you use mods so its not a "legal" run anyway) that might be the solution to not get depressed in act 4! 😂

beelz you should try this dumb speed run I just did put everything you can into lowering skill and quintessence cooldown then use harpy and the biker you can get to opposite sides of the room in 2 seconds (by the way this is weak just stupid and crazy)

By the end you said something about us knowing what enhanced "Spoils" does. Did you show it on stream? Watched all the videos after an update and don't remember there "Spoils" enhancement being shown anywhere.
I recorded this just after I recorded another video (Spartacus) but the footage had a major audio issue and I had to scrap it -_- so I of course had recorded this before I knew.... dumb me.
Long story short you still plant a banner that you have to stand in and you get stronger benefits for doing so. The spot is also constantly bombarded with cannonballs and bullets from above, so enemies standing there get hurt as well. It's very ''eeeh...'' compared to others and serves as more of a distraction considering who the final 2 fights are.

You know, I think Dark Skul's speed mode has TWO horns, and not one. The one on his head, sure, but what if the other is the actual spear itself? Because it feels like Speed should have two horns, but in game he only has one

Always has been. It's why I roll it down a lot. However if you take an item earlier it might mess up whether a legendary is on 5. But if you do it in the first shop it's a legendary there.
@@Beelz55 i mean, at 2:14 you did took it, and it's still a legendary on the 2nd shop, so i wonder if it'll be always a legendary at 5, or that was a stroke of uncanny coincidence
@@aizero-ih3uy in the past it hasn't always been a legendary on 5 if I took an item earlier. So I'm not sure. They may have adjusted it and I didn't know. I just try to go down to 5 in the first shop each time to see what's good.

I usually take her due to the fact she doesn't care whether you're physical or magical. I also like her burst damage. With Shad Knights you have to wait for the entire thing to run its course. With Suoni it's all at once. Pros and cons for both though.
With Shad Knights the pro is that prolonged screen wide damage clears rooms faster and can be handy in fights where the boss enemies leave the screen temporarily (Sisters, Chimera, Dad) because you're guaranteed some damage. The con is that they clutter the screen a lot and even though you're guaranteed damage, you can still miss out on some if a boss uses an invulnerable move while its activated.
Suonis pro is the burst. It clears big beefy enemies almost instantly and when timed correctly takes big bites out of boss hp pools. Big con is if you mess up the timing she's wasted. A boss going invulnerable or leaving the screen as she pops just sucks.
