In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Omens as a scaling method! Omens are one of the most dangerous things in the entire game, and most of them are under normal circumstances simply items to challenge your skill and make your run tougher. However, the few exceptions are extremely powerful to the point of absurdity, and one of those is the Thirteenth Bone. This item encourages you to take more Omens by scaling both your physical and magic damage by 110% for every Omen you own. This by itself is a very powerful damage scaling method, but is also extremely dangerous due to Omen's debuffs, with you having 3+ of them leading to you instantly dying when taking any damage. This is where the dark ability Mercury Hearts comes in, which earns you two instances of them every time you kill a dark elite, and these cause you to gain 1 second of invincibility whenever you take a hit. If you play your cards right you can stack these up to completely negate the downsides of Omen 3, but even then it's still tough. You need powerful AoE damage and items that allow you to deal safe damage from a distance to get a run like this going, such as Raven's Monarch Feather and Hunter's Boots. The skulls of choice for this run will be Archlich and Werewolf, will these two be able to overcome the odds set against us by these Omens and come out victorious?

I actually purposefully did it because of how immensely useful Veteran Hunter's Boots are for maintaining Mercury Hearts. Anything that allows you to attack at a distance is super good for it, and it really doesn't get much better than the giga boots lol. Also, glad you enjoyed the run!
That gunpowder skip at the end was crazy
I don't remember where in the run this happened. In hindsight I think I could have afforded to ditch the Medal Box or Pot of Greed for something like that because what's 140%/120% damage to Gunpowder Sword in the Alexander fight, but I don't consider it a misplay because
1). It would literally only function against Alexander, this is a non-crit focused run, and
2). That's such a ridiculous level of minmaxing that ultimately has no meaning on the run that nobody could be expected to make that play.
Bro that masterpiece blindness had me slamming my head on my keyboard, not that it mattered at all by the end. Insane run though ggs great content as usual. Also I'm guessing that max damage came from the bone omen effect?

i know what you mean by the hitboxes on sisters, sometimes im not even touching the pillars and they bounce me off of them and end my run

Which part of the run was this? I ended up getting it eventually, but sounds like I missed a minmax depending on when the wings showed up.

Yesterday, i got a run that i was wanting for a long time: Obsession, Change of Life and Melanofobia by act 3. Turns out i didn't drop the invisible knife to double the drops and Ass items overall T-T
