Yeah funny that, how he uses his own personal frame of reference just like every other human being on the planet. How selfish of him to have not developed psychic abilities to be able to assume the operations and emotions of another person's mind.

This is why GB News is the best news broadcaster in the UK. You wouldn't see the corrupt BBC or ITV having a heart to heart with you through your TV screens in a subject so sad. Also the fact he is a man opening up about his mental health he is showing us men it's okay to talk.

Much respect to you Patrick and thankyou for sharing with us. My cousin committed suicide some years ago, he worked for radio 6 and to everyone else he seemed successful and happy. He was silently suffering and his passing was a huge loss to all of us. I’m so happy to hear things improved for you, love your show and I wish you all the best for the future. x

Take it from someone who knows; those who bitch and whine about being depressed, like the majority of selfish young idiots these days, one can take with a pinch of salt.
Those who are truly suffering wear a mask of such intricately crafted deception that one can never suspect the depth of their anguish, often not until it is too late.
I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I have had a mental health problem in my youth. I had a break down but never would harm anyone and became homeless, i was a danger to myself. I got treated poorly and lost everything but overcame it and became free from meds 10 years without treatment, thanks to Jesus. There's a difference between mental health though and criminals who do evil. We excuse evil due to poor mental health, that needs to change. Thank you for sharing your story Patrick!

I am a person who 'every single day' has looked at the Pure Evil going on in the World. My demons I carry are real. I fought for those who were unable to fight for themselves. I fought for the love of my Country. I fought to rid the World of Evil Men. Yet on my return, the very Country that I love so very much has turned its back on me, and the men and women that I served with so honourably. Then by chance I came across your broadcast...YOU... 'Patrick' have very simply dragged me away from a very dark place. You are an exceptionally honourable man, and a pure light from the chaos of our World. Be very proud Sir of the person you are. May God bless you Patrick.

Good for you Patrick I worked in a stressful high powered job and was a high profile well known union rep looking after 200 plus members I had it all or so I thought until I woke up 1 morning and literally couldnt string a sentence together. I went from a confident put together person to a frightened shell literally overnight. I was lucky my employers at that time took care of everything and got me the support and counselling I needed and with the help of my hubby son, grandkids and friends I slowly moved forward. Am I the same person as I was before it happened? No but I thank God that I'm still alive to tell my story. I will donate as soon as I have sent this

This hit my heart. The last few years have been hard for me. I too thought about things I shouldn’t but I had a loving family from afar and my two children to get me through. It really is amazing how a little bit of help and time can change your outlook and begin to feel better. I still have a lot of fear that I had during that time but I know it will be ok and work out.
Please, if you read this and feel in any way down or alone, it can get better if you take the step forward to ask for help and accept it. Please do. Your future could be amazing so stay and find out.
