just got my new balljoint tool today can't wait to use it
Good show , don't stop doing it
Hi Kooning trucking, sorry not been about for a while sadly I lost my wife beginning of this year so just trying to get my head round things, like others have said it will be nice to see the brake tool in action as I’ve always wanted one myself keep up the great work. MarkUK
I hate to hear that ! I’m so sorry for your loss !
I really want to try that ball joint press. Doing front end work is usually gravy work. If that things 1/2 as good as it’s supposed to be, it would make front end work child’s play.
Great video. That ball joint press looks awesome. Can’t wait to see a video with it in action.
Clay if you want the ratcheting caliper spreader go for the Lang it's still US made but like $20-$30 cheaper than the tool trucks since they're mostly a rebadged Lang spreader they're like $40-$50 I love mine
but does it say Matco...lol
I bought that caliper press from Mr. Joe about a year ago, it's a handy bit of kit that. I found out the press is made by Lang tools here in this country and was listed on Amazon for $45. The same tool from Mr. Joe with "Cornwell" on the handle was $55. Snap-on had the same tool with "Blue-point" on the handle for $75. I wanted to support Mr. Joe's business, first.
It would be nice to see that tool in action just to see how it handles
Raul Rubalcava it’s awkward at first but once you get the hang of it, you usually don’t have to even change cups for removing upper and lower ball joints.
I have that ball joint press and it was awkward to use at first because usually you have the slanted cups, you just position the tool accordingly.
Love the video Clay! Wish I could get my hands on one of those brake caliper press tools!
I learn so much on your tool truck trips! Plus all The latest and greatest ... that ball joint press is so sweet, 7 hundo tho.. ouchie
Late to the party but just wanted to say I have that brake caliper tool (the larger one) going on what? Maybe 8 years now? It's been flawless. Just make sure to grease the threads once in a blue.
Both of them are built by Lang Tools. The one you bought cost $46 on Amazon. Lang Tools makes them for all the major tool truck brands
Gotta love matco tools.
I love that flashlight @ 1:52 I've had mine for 2 years highly recommend.
Good video y'all have a good weekend and stay safe 👍
we have that in our shop it pretty awsome on dodge front end
Hey I did my Dodge ball joints and they gave me hell. The tool looks unique. I have to see it in action. Excellent video
How much was that ball joint press? I need to get one of those
Great job as always, but Clay you have got to get Wally back on the straight and narrow. He's wearing a MATCO hat on the Snap ON truck and a Snap On hat on the MATCO truck! WTH?
Just wanting free hats from the competition
How would that press do against truck/trailer anchor pins?
I like the looks of that ball joint press but I can’t justify buying one since I just bought my snap on kit 6 months ago for $650... Plus I don’t have a Matco dealer as reliable as Michael...
That Looks Pretty Freaking Heavy Duty!!
I have one, it rips those little bastards out.
I first bought the 4 n 1 tool loved it but on small car it to big for the rear brakes so I ended up buying both.... ive used both styles the pistol grip and the ratcheting one and love the ratchet style i bought it off my cornwell dealer
Cornball is till around? I haven't seen them in ages! Wow.
That ball join press is been around for long time in Europe
But can it do honda lower ball joints... asking for a "friend"
👍Bro, that brake windback tool...PRICELESS...got a fleet of Ford Transit 150, 250, & 350s...and those rear caliper pistons 🤬
We actually used the cube of death on the Lincoln we was working on
Wow, did I hear him right. $1000 bucks to get the hole kit. I think snap on is only $600
Snap on’s kit is practically a rebranded OTC isn’t it?
Dennis Reelie no, this snaps together as this video shows. OTC does not due that.
I think the Snap on kit is a bit more. And it is not even close to a rebranded OTC. It makes the OTC look like a pile a junk. And I like my OTC.
Just looked, it’s $735.00 on their web site.
Matco 7,000 psi .... Snap on 1500 psi. You get what you pay for
Why I never seen a matco truck in my town?
How much price
The snap on ball joint press is much nicer.
Those extractor rings sound good in theory but they may wear out overtime.
NEVER WOULD U EVER USE THEM THOUGH, SO HOW WOULD THEY WEAR OUT?
Will mike make money this week
I love how people get suckered to buying from these trucks…..
Lol I just had my Marco guy try and sell me this for $1200 my cornwell guy came next day has it for $899
Cheapest and fastest caliper tool is a pry bar
That’s a bad dude
wheres transport 1 ?
That ball joint tool is a biggen makes my OTC not look so cool anymore.. I see you guys are buying smaller tools as in there must be some cars rolling through the shop. As long as you stay busy that's all that matters
Yeah we been doing several cars
Ya know I like watching the videos but I don't appreciate being slapped in the face in the beginning of the video
THIS LOOKS LIKE ME WHEN IM ON THE MAC TRUCK, HEAD TO TOE IN SNAP ON GEAR, LOOKING TO BUY THE LITTLE THINGS FROM THE OTHER GUY, CUZ HES A GOOD GUY, AND WE ALL NEED TO EAT.BUT YEAH, SNAP ON IS KING
