Heyup chap, that's around the time I started 😁 then I had a sharps inova, & kind of went off in a pneumatic direction m, good memories indeed buddy , cheers, Jon 👍👍
@@yetiwheeler7972 heyup Yeti, I don't have any recall of a brand named original, maybe by a model name? I remember I always wanted an FWB in my teens, had a Vulcan mk2 then a jackel high power (useless) then put that against a sharps inova pump pneumatic, and the list goes on 😁 I even had a Spanish pump 5 shot called a Setra, had it for nine years twas bloomin lovely 👍cheers buddy, Jon 👍👍😁
Awesome looking rifle the colour looks the business. Hi Jon wow very impressed with the accuracy. that's some great grouping at 40yards windy and getting dark, too much😁Another very enjoyable review mate 😄👍
Nice review Jon. I've got the .177 version. Cracking gun. On a par with my HW97 and AA ProSport in performance and quality. I've never shot it using a bipod but using a bag it's spot on. 👍👍
Heyup Jeremy, if it was only gun I could own I'd be far from disappointed, I'd rather have it over the others, AA finger trap & pellet drop ltd😁 and HW97 headphones supplied for irritating noise from the block 😁 thanks for watching & for the feedback buddy. Cheers, Jon 👍👍😁
@@jonathanhawke2995 I know what you mean Jon, especially pellet drop in the ProSport. I put a 'Welsh Willy' tuning kit in my 97 which works wonders for the noise. I've owned both for almost 20 years so I guess I've got used to them. 👍👍
Heyup Paul, it certainly took me by surprise, if it was the only gun I was allowed I wouldn't be disappointed, thanks for watching buddy, cheers, Jon 😁😁👍
Nice no recoil springer buddy 😁👍I'm a springer guy...Do you think it's still the same quality as the old 54? I don't like the shape from the shoulder piece but i like the German side lever air rifles. A shame that Diana started to import rubbish from the East. Hope Weihrauch will produce a side lever some day. I prefer this rifle more than a PCP. Enjoyed your vid my friend. Cheers!
Heyup aron, it's a whole new design a year ago along with a pcp which I believe is called the XR 200, Diana Germany have taken matters in hand by the looks of it, I don't think anyone would be disappointed if they got on, thanks for watching buddy, cheers, Jon 😁😁👍
Heyup David, funilly enough I mentioned a chap in the north West 😁 all I can say is what a bit of kit, definitely a TOO MUCH FUN item, all the best for 2025 buddy, cheers, Jon 😁😁👍
Stunning rifle, i want one last week 😅 I have pondered again and again about buying one, they are being made in Deutschland again hooray 🎉 I had a 52 and regret selling it😢 I hear they are a scope killer??? If anyone can dispell that myth i be great full. Thanks for sharing ❤ That's some accurate gun fair play.
Heyup SLR, we was shooting it without any issues regarding the scope, nearly half a tin of pellets, maybe try asking Jeremy manning in the comments as he's got a. 177 I found it to be quite awsom 😁thanks for watching buddy, cheers, Jon 👍👍😁
Hiya John, bought a 48 last week and im loving it, well engineered and bloody accurate. Denny ( Rats in Reticles) picked it up from Lancashire and sent it down to Swansea for me.💪 Thanks for your videos.
50 yards springer/superb my first .22 was a diana open sight in 1976 was awesome tho my friends all had bsa springers great times and great memories

Heyup Yeti, all the best for 2025 buddy , enjoy your night shift viewing, cheers, Jon 👍👍😁
wow mate what a gun would give a decent pcp a run for its money . very decent account of its self on the paper 👍
Heyup Paul, it certainly took me by surprise, if it was the only gun I was allowed I wouldn't be disappointed, thanks for watching buddy, cheers, Jon 😁😁👍
You can see on video the action sliding back in the stock when shot, unusual tech.
Old 50+ year common technology buddy. About the same system as the FWB300S. Norica came also out with a sliding system, the Omnia ZRS. Cheers!
Heyup Palmer, it's old tech in a new gun that certainly works extremely well, it's a very nice gun, thanks for watching buddy, cheers, Jon 👍👍😁
