I'm black and I have to be honest., I absolutely loved this skit and I'm the biggest fan of Ralphie may ever and I have to say I'm upset they hid this skit here on youtube because people are so sensitive now a day's they can't handle a good joke.

Well this reminds me of that crap louis ck coffee bit…ralfie got away with it the first time but then i found myself cringing about how many more times he was gonna say the word. I have enjoyed his stuff up to this point…youtube messed up suggesting this excuse to use racial slurs. People claim its so break through…to incorporate racial slurs into your comedy…not really…they just don’t do that with an audience that will run them off stage

While I agree with you, I have to say that this sort of sentiment (though I do mean more so outside of the US) was very much simmering in the background thanks to the overwhelming culture of the internet at the time.
Edit: a little further into the bit and man we were really close to achieving the thing that he's talking about here, the only difference is the methodology, we did it through the use of anonymity and everyone on the internet being a spicy ñ and until the quality of their content/posting proved otherwise.

You know why Ralphie had the confidence to incorporate these words/topics into his act? because there wasn't hate in his heart. When he would use words like these it wasn't out of hate but love. Which is why you always need to understand the context and intent of whom and what the person is trying to say. Ralphie was a legend of standup and gone way too early!

Really? There seemed to be more than enough hate in his heart on "Last Comic Standing". He and the others were assholes to the Asian comedian who went on to win the series. Ralphie had much better material than Dat Phan, but his hater-arrogance turned all of the voters off.

The man was as socially conscious as he was funny. It is sad that he wasn't found by more people until his death. He will always be an amazing figure both for his outlook on the world and the funny he could spin on it at the same time. RiP big man. We definitely miss you.

Ralphie passed the same week as my dad. I got to see him just before and he singled me and my buddy who I showed growing up, asked if any young guys were out there and proceeded to show us the ways to properly please a woman. Best comedian of my life.

The main reason Ralphie is so doggone funny is he's taking us back to the 60s and 70s where there were so many TV sitcoms which built their huge fan hoods on all sides of the fences, by making fun of all types of racism by pitting them against one another. I.e. All In The Family, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, In Living Color and the list goes on and on. Nowadays, this nuanced generation would be appalled and offended because of their deeply embedded resentfully negative take on everything, leaving no room for an open sense of humor. So sad to say the least.

I watched a segment of Ralphie talking about Peach meat the other day and anyone who watches a lot of Ralphie know what It is and I was watching The Losers on Netflix today and there was a sex scene and whatever and it cuts to them getting in the car with the rest of the group and I said to myself “they are going to ask him what he did last night and he’s gonna say he was up all night getting some peach meat.” And I had a little chuckle to myself and then once they get in the car, someone in the back said “well ain’t that peachy?” And I died.
