Seeing that TV with tablet controls, it brought back memories of my first trip on a KLM flight. It was 2008, and it was the everyone in coach would have the same movie on a screen about 10 thousand rows in front of you. This time, I learned we all had our own individual TVs with hundreds of hours of entertainment. Movies, music, soaps, sitcoms, what have you, all at our disposal. I was 14 years old at the time, so I remember being amazed at the level of cartoon content they offered. Thank God, considering it was a 6-hour flight. I get jet-lag and motion sickness easily, so I haven't flown in a long time, but KLM is probably still my favourite airline.
The amount of work behind all of your videos is remarkable. Probably the best, love how u explain perfectly everything and u are always fair in your comments, when its good and when its not same.
The main bummer about the gulf carriers is that there's a stop in the middle of the trip. So unless one is coming or going to the gulf, it's a hassle to change flights in the middle of the trip. That certainly works for some, but I really value an uninterrupted flight from SE Asia to Europe. No matter how nice the first class is. Fortunately SQ has reactivated most of the A380's it's going to keep flying, so those are an excellent alternative on many routes. (They retired some that had operational limitations due to what Airbus delivered early on.) And it seems the Suite concept is coming to SQ 777's as well, though I have yet to see it.
it is perfect for those extremely long 14 hour flights tho, especially in economy, breaking a 14 hour flight into two shorter 6-7 hour flights is definitely worth it, as you can stretch your legs and get some proper food. Besides, gulf carriers tend to be cheaper than carriers that offer direct flights like BA or Cathay
@Geoff Burns Yes, it's definitely down to personal preference. Back in the day when dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was young, I didn't mind stops at all, and sometimes preferred them. But now I'm solidly in the "let's get it over with as quickly as possible" camp.

Have to agree to some extent. While I'd feel safe to fly one, they would never be my first choice considering how poor the average citizen of these countries is. Emirates in particular is like a mask for its country and that disgusts me.
It's isn't his or anyone else's fault that Emirates is owned by an oil rich government which gives them enough money to do whatever they want with the airline. This gives them popularity which forces UA-camrs to review them because they also need money
Silly question, but do you get to keep the pajamas and other items from the flight? Love your videos by the way. Because of you, I get to see things that I would, otherwise, never see. It is always a pleasure to watch your travels

I actually felt very angry watching this video. Not Will's fault obviously, just the way this is reality for some people. This level of luxury is pretty tasteless in my opinion.
While I'm here Will can I thank you for sheer joy and genius that is your 2016 video, " champagne road trip". A very youthful You, a right hand drive mini and a series of left sided road tolls is nothing short of Trek Tendy comedy gold. We have all been there I would hazard but few of us have the presence of mind or indeed bravery to film the escapade and share it with the world. Congratulations Sir. Made me think, what about an outake/blooper real for Christmas?!😉
Let’s be honest, irrespective of the carrier or whether it’s in business or first class what the majority people want most on a flight over 5-6 hours isn’t the food or alcohol or on board showers it’s to get a decent amount of sleep/rest. I got back from Mauritius via a layover in Dubai yesterday flying Emirates Business and on both legs although Emirates staff and the product was superb it was ruined by the cabin being over run with young children and several babies screaming for the duration of both flights. Now before I get a torrent of abuse, I don’t blame the children at all, I blame the parents - you and your family might be on vacation but many of your fellow passengers are travelling on Business (see, the clue is in the title) and they need some peace and quiet to either work during the flight or more likely sleep so they can arrive at a meeting reasonably awake. I would ask any parent to think if you insist on taking a very young child/baby on a long flight in Business/First (or Economy for that matter), to try and entertain them/attend to their needs rather than simply ignoring them which seems to happen a lot of the time. I’m not anti children/babies flying at all but I am angered by selfish and inconsiderate parents who seem to think an aircraft cabin is a glorified crèche for their offspring.

I actually felt very angry watching this video. Not Will's fault obviously, just the way this is reality for some people. This level of luxury is pretty tasteless in my opinion.
And I love your British voice. I love hearing Brit’s … be safe with your travels ….
Even if it's not business travel it's still rude and obnoxious in any class.
@@caveben totally agree
Dont fly then u tool

Amazingly well done, most entertaining flight review ever. In large part because the passenger seemed to enjoy himself immensely. Who wouldn’t?

This is so luxurious and such an amazing experience! My OCD, has me in a tizzy, over all of the marks on the Upholstery and the smudges on the mirror! Yikes! But still so cool! 😱

Great video and trip.
It is impossible to read the menu however and I hope you can find a way to size it up to full screen, regardless, loved your meal choices and close up video. I would skip the caviar and asked them to double the prawns. ;)
You always to seem to have so much fun, I just love watching your videos, thankyou for sharing.
