The echinopsis plant blooms smell so amazing, your so right!! I have a huge plant like her and I love the way she bloomed for me last year. She smelled amazing!! Yours is a lot different because I think mine is an epiphillium, but I really want this echinopsis so bad, shes so cute and ill be keeping my eye out for one lol. I love your personality!!! I'm so happy to see this video because I am definitly going to try it on my cacti when she blooms next!

Thats wonderful your cactus has been flowering too, they are beauties, usually these cacti need to be cross pollinated with another flower on another Echinopsis cactus for them to get pollinated, but with some cacti can be self pollinating too, thanks so much Nanette for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful Wednesday XXXX

What is the very hairy looking cactus behind the cactus with two blooms called? He looks so interesting and cool!
haha he is a Cephalocereus senislis cactus aka the old man cactus and is a wacky one indeed :-D I have grown this cactus for many years now :-D its a slow grower but so extra special :-D Thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching

Echinopsis subdenudata normally only produces white blooms

Hi Cher :-D yes this cactus produces mostly white flowers but some of the hybrids will produce pink or lilac too :-D a lot of the newer hybrids produce other colours
Is it hard to get seeds from these to germinate? I’ve thought of getting some but don’t have a green house.
I also want to do rat tail and monkey tail cactus. How would u do that without a greenhouse?

Hi :-D Echinopsis seeds germinate very easily I have found :-D usually within a a week or two :-D and definitely within a month :-D yes check out my video on 'How to grow cactus from seed' and it explains all in there :-D good luck with growing these amazing plants from seed
