Phil robertson is a great guy with a big heart

“I’ll make a bet with you,” Robertson said. “Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him. And then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now is it dude?’”
Robertson kept going: “Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if this [sic] was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’”
“If it happened to them,” Robertson continued, “they probably would say, ‘something about this just ain’t right.”
Sounds like it doesn't need to be taken out of context.
The illuminati Yeah, if there is no God, horrible things like that go unpunished, that's his point. What was wrong with saying that evil should be punished? They were adults in that crowd, they could handle it. They're grown up, they don't need the daddy day care media or government to sugar coat horrible realities.
The illuminati No, well technically yes because atheism is a sin, but I am saying that people who do what they did to that atheist family are evil. Nobody deserves to be murdered, raped, mutilated, ect... I am saying, just like Phil, that people who do what was done to that family are evil and should be punished. He was just pointing out that if you believe God doesn't exist than that means you don't believe evil will be punished. And he was saying that someone doing something as horrible as that and getting away with it just without punishment "just ain’t right”.
I've always liked people like Phil because they are AUTHENTIC!
People need to realize, Phil, was one of the best QB’s his college had ever seen. He could have played in the NFL. Phil, had a patent for his technology and device and had the mechanics all drawn out for what the innovation would look like and prototype. He went to college. Smart man.
He just chose a more simple life simulated to how he was raised. Poor
Terry Bradshaw..... Pittsburgh Steelers Terry Bradshaw was his backup at Louisiana Tech for two years.
He couldn't have played in the nfl he had only 12 td with 34 interceptions only 2237 passing yards and only won 8 games and lost 20

Phil was the starting quarterback at college he got his masters degree from, and future hall of fame Terry Bradshaw was his backup quarterback - Phil was that good, even though his heart wasn’t in it, because he wanted to go hunting full time.
Obviously had he kept playing, he had a good shot at also being in the HOF.
Phil got the better deal - he’s rich and famous without his body being wracked with pain from many years of football injuries.
Not that he cares about being rich and famous. That wasn’t his goal.
And his experience is an example of God blessing those who love him, even doing something as trivial to the world as duck hunting.

I really enjoy listening to you preach the gospel Phil I was strung out on drugs and alcohol and I asked God to come into my life and be my Lord and savior and I have a lot of health problems from them and had to file for my disability and we have lost everything we have our vehicles and everything and I have been really down I ask you to please pray for me and my family we are going through a rough time right now and we could use all the prayers we can get but listening to you everyday lift's me up and I appreciate it
