I met him briefly outside Brixton Academy in '97 on his 'Come in and Burn' Tour as he entered side entrance whilst people lining up outside..ironically I was the only one who seemed to recognise him as he wore a black fleece was maybe 5'9" and very low key in his body language I said something dumb like "WOW have a great show love your stuff man" he mumbled with half a smile "thanks I intend to" and entered the side..he could have been the janitor starting a shift and his image at time was so larger than life and intense but here's this mild mannered guy which even most his fans didn't recognise it was quite funny really
I watched and taped this when it was screened on SVT 20 yrs ago. As my other tapes do this one also lives in a removal box somewhere (haha), so thanks for this upload! :D Just rewatched it. So good. One of the best docs on Henry.
@@chewedtapes7983 I should do the same at some point. I'm sure there's rare tv recordings. I've got tapes in removal boxes in the basement and in boxes behind other boxes in the bedroom! I've got tapes in kitchen cupboards for Christ's sakes, hahaha
Talking about the amplification of tech back then. Now it’s 10 fold with social media & a smartphone plugged into 5G logged on 24/7 like a limb on your body !
Best documentary I have seen so far about Henry Rollins. Thanks for putting it up.
Been a fan of Henry since I heard weight in my mid teens. You have to admire his drive. Thanks for the upload.🙌

I went through my old boxes from the attic 2 years ago, that is where and when this tape turned up.

Henry Rules!
His residence is exactly how one would expect.. minimal and hygienic!
Oh sure
What I learned from this video is that "fart" is the Swedish word for "speed."

Could be
Not Hank just eating tuna
Certain details of the Joe Cole story change in different accounts.
Henry is a very interesting, compelling figure, but good god, Rollins Band was so bad!
