- Filmed on July 16, 2015 (Asian time): This is actually quite slow for a 30+ story building. Sorry that I had to cut off the last part because apartment buildings are highly private places to film in. I filmed these because my aunt's family were buying this.

Wait a Second. Hmmm... There is Something 0:45 the floor button is "B2" and then 0:57 The Floor is "-2" like an European Floor.
I Saw Motor Bikes Inside That Apartment Complex
Um good lift 🤩😍
Correction: KDS 290/300. KDS 290 is the inside indicator while KDS 300 is the buttons. I think these are MiniSpace (mini machine room) because normally MonoSpace MRL can't serve higher like that.
They can use an MX10 or NMX14 motors
Referring to 6:33 - it's actually 36 floors if you include B1 and B2. The reason why they go slow in apartment buildings is mainly because if they go faster, people living there or visiting the building may end up feeling uncomfortable or end up with nausea. In this case, the speed might be around 500 FPM which is the minimum I can expect for that many floors, even for a Schindler 5500. But given this is only 2 elevators for like 36 floors, that speed is kind of not enough. But again, it's more about not only understanding people's comfort in the elevators, even when it comes to high-profile residential buildings but also the amount of valuable floor space required for each and every floor of the building depending on the width to height ratio of the building, area of each and every floor and floor space index and possibly cost of these buildings, because sometimes opting for a faster elevator model in such buildings can add up to the cost at some point.
I just got a brand new Kone KDS 300 button!
I knew that feature in 2012!
I filmed in apartment buildings since 5/15/15
It goes slow for 34 floors because it serves ALL 34 floors so it goes slow so it can stop locally easily if there is a local floor call
It might be more of cost-cutting, getting faster lifts might cost them more so they resort to slower lifts.
If this was a HDB in Singapore it would go 3 m/s.
…and bear in mind they want to get apartments done at Low cost, lest a big debt crisis follows like Evergrande.
2 elevators serving all 34 floors that's pretty poor elevator service. Not to mention these go pretty slow. But they are slow because they serve all floors which is stupid
This is very poor elevator service! You have 2 elevators serving ALL 34 floors and these are really slow. They are slow because they have to serve all floors. Almost the worst I've seen.
Nice KONEs!
