the huge thing with the crossbow is the splash damage.... shooting the ground will wipe bug mobs quick

Lol you really want every primary to be great at everything.
It wouldn't be so bad if we had secondaries that were reliable for more than just a couple kills. The issue is bringing a specialized primary forces you to bring a support weapon as a "primary"... which can lead to some very sticky situations if you die with it and are unable to pick it back up.

No one uses the railgun any longer as it's been nerfed from a fun and useful gun to something that's both pathetic and doesn't make sense,
In a world with super advanced technology the engineers of the gun cannot set a safe stop limit for the charge which is effective... oh please.
Biggest issue with game devs is that they listen to streamers and general idiots in the community who make suggestions like "the railgun needs nerfing its too good". So what happens when they make a gun useless, oh its not used any longer.

They nerfed it because that's all people used and nothing else. You would join a match and everyone would be using rail gun and shield backpack.
Nowadays people really tend to use different support weapons, even after the addition of the quasar people choose other options.
@@itriyum well the quasar cannon is very popular. Should another good gun be nerfed? I know let's make all the guns equally useless and shit let's make the entire game a complete heap of garbage because there are too many people playing it.
Nerfing something because people are enjoying using it is stupid.
If it's the ONLY DECENT GUN on the game then maybe the other guns need to be made better.
Games where the difficulty is dictates by making the enemy bullet sponges and limiting ammo so you don't have enough ammo to defeat the enemy is just both extremely boring and lazy game dev.
Also the Devs shouldn't be listening to such advise from people who cry "too many people are using it" well let's go to the nth degree with that. "Too many people are playing the game let's nerf everything so people can't play it any longer"
This isn't a PvP where you have to be concerned about balancing encounters between players and even then there is a vastly more urgent and bigger issue with the ubiquity of cheaters which needs focusing on and dealing with far more than attempting to balance something that isn't needed.
