IN EPISODE ONE OF THIS MICRO CAMOER VAN BUILD SERIES WE ARE LOOKING AT STRIPPING THE VAN BACK TO A SHELL AND CHECKING OUT ANY RUST ISSUES, BEFORE ADDING OUR FIRST FIX ELECTRICS. THIS IS GOING TO BE A SUPER SIMPLE ELECTRICAL SET UP. We hope you enjoy this first episode in our new camper van build series, in this series we will be turning this Citroen Dispatch van into an awesome 2 berth micro camper. Today we get stuck into ripping out the van and making sure we have no hidden rust, rot or anything else lurking behind the ply panels.
Once we have addressed any issues it’s time to start doing the first fix electrical set up in this micro camper van. The first fix electrical set up in any camper van can take a while and doesn’t look like you’ve done a lot, this is due to everything being hidden if you do the job right.
Be sure to use conduit when wiring up your camper van for safety and also to make your job easier if you ever need to do any maintenance work in the future.

Was that printed in PLA? It has a lower plasticity then you may think, about 60'c.

PMSL "see you next Tuesday". Naughty boy. Insulation.... IMHO Don't believe the hype. A few facts, ANY air flow that comes in contact with cold metal or glass (outer van skin) will create evil condensation. The only way to stop this is to not have air of any kind coming in contact with the outer skin. A simple and very effective solution is good old builders expanding foam, a bit messy initially but keeps the cold out and the heat in. Under your floor in ya doors and walls, roof n'all. Nowt worse than that damp feeling all over ya van after a chilly night.
