Guys! I've had the worst disease known to mankind.............man flu! BUT, I'm over the worst of it so here's another video, hope you like it... subscribe! haha
Check the droop screws on the lower A-arms. I installed my JBI chassis over the weekend and found they all needed reset. I have read if they are not set to touch or slightly limit full extension then you are more likely to bend the shock shafts. I haven't experienced this but if you read it on a forum it must be true...
Hi Kev. That's awesome. I've also built in a very strong servo in my BSR Berserker. It's a PDI-HV7246MG! This thing is a "Hulk" on my car. I've made my Chassis stronger with some more Aluminum on it. But such a chassis like your's is a dream! Great job.
Thats right boys..now, we cant compare 6 and 3s..but yes the 3s so far..or atleast untill ma latest creation where finished. BUT that said, the 6s and 3s will allways be closest to ma heart.... ♥️
Awesome looking kraton. I put a high powered hitec servo in my kraton and it drove the same. Just like your bench test. I had to tighten up the servo saver to get any increase in performance.
Subscribed! Love the content, hoping one day to get the parts to make my own rc car :) slowly but surely I'll upgrade from these small walmart rcs to a good one
Some of you might think that we call it a drive shaft just in the United States. I have an old Chilton motor manual from the 1930s that calls it a propeller shaft so it's not just a UK thing. All we did is do what we Americans always do, rename something that already has a name. LOL
also my servo was the black one that did 32 kg @0.07 seconds on 7.4 volts not 8.4 so mine doesn't need an external bec... Also i definitley deserve a shoutout for that servo ;) Trust me you will love it it's solid as a rock and like you said the servo moves the servo saver 😂😂😂
Hi Bashing Over Racing, I'm wondering which servo you mean by 'the black one', I have v3 Kraton and wish to scrap the crap stock servo for a direct plug and play servo for the stock esc, please could you upload a link ! Yours faithfully Daniel
I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think they discontinued it because they weren't selling enough of them to keep them going. I think it may have something to do with it's competition from Traxxas in the form of the Revo. Just my guess though as I'm not sure if that is the reason.
Lane Waite probably true because they have the new erevo and udr and Xmaxx and people don’t have enough money to go out and buy one because they would rather get a Xmaxx. I guess I will just have to build one
@@morganhay859 That's probably the best way to do it to be honest. The weird thing is that the T-maxx/Emaxx are good platforms to build on, duel shocks at each corner and durable to boot. My brother has a T-maxx, but needs a motor as the guy who gave it to him overheated it. I have the Revo 3.3. I preferred the spec sheet over the T-maxx as that was the other RC I was looking at at the time. It's expensive building an RC from scratch when you compare the cost of new to the parts you need tally cost, but if you want one and are obligated to build one from scratch, not much of a choice. Best of luck!
My heater was at 80 degrees and yet I was still cold. I stopped shivering when it was at 85. Krazy feeling man. Get well soon brother so we can rule the world... lol
Hey Kev, Great videos. always good to watch after stressful day of work. Maybe we can get a review of a cheap brushless esc and motor... I always see 30 to 50 dollar ones on amazon... lol
You should take cbd oil. It will help with not getting sick lol. If you want the site .just pm me back. Any way the arrma look real tough. Can't what to see how it hold up. I bought arrma last year so far no problem's. I may buy the same up grades you did to your arrma .
What’s up kev I hope your doing all right. I really think u should bring out your savige, please! Just once, me and thousands of other people will be so happy!!!!!!
Traxxas parts on a Arrma that’s an abomination 😱🤣! Looking bomb proof now Kev am really interested in that servo tho! Like you said will it be as good as it looks!
Hi kev you should put an 8s esc in the notorious as well

Man i´m so happy when i see that you use GPM Racing upgrade yeeeeah GPM is my sponsor and im very happy that you are satisfied with it and by the way i really enjoy this video man thanks for your videos always watching when i eating pizza :)) have fun man
Good luck with the JX servos, Ive been running them for over a year, they arent too bad in a crawler, for a certain amount of time, but in any sort of basher they wont last long. Are you going to run it @ 8.4v to get max torque though ?
No, ARRMA "fanboi's" as you say love ARRMA for that fact you can use loads of other parts (even traxxas stuff if you need to) on ARRMA RC's. You need a chassis protector if any will fit. That Chassis prob cost a lot to destroy with scrapes... The stock servos are fair but that dmg had to be human error...
Been thinking of starting a new hobby something to replace quad and bikes but still tweakable and something I can involve my boy in as he gets older and I’m leaning towards roc cars was looking at savage x’s cause I kinda wanted to mod it to take a toyan engine at some point but now I’m leaning more towards a kraton or outcast thinking brushless is the way forward rather than nitro less people bitching about noise and constant cost of fuel and oils plus I’m looking at pre owned and the way I see it pre owned nitro is cheaper upfront but with more running costs and the potential of a bad engine where as brushless is more upfront but much less running costs not counting tweaking and replacing damaged parts So what do you think of a kraton in the hands of a beginner ?
Guys! I've had the worst disease known to mankind.............man flu! BUT, I'm over the worst of it so here's another video, hope you like it... subscribe! haha
Kevin Talbot I was just wondering if u were ok as you hadn’t uploaded in 4 days. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Thanks for the upload
you are my fav youtuber and was woundering if you woud review the vrx racing octain xl and mod the absolut crap out of it
Can u do a review of a traxxas stampede.
Hope you get better
I'm getting a notorious soon and I'm going to get a body and paint it a deep candy paint red
Shop time videos are bomb!! Thanks kev!!
Best quote on the internet. "guys say the motor won't take that power".... Kev says, well, it will for a little while!
Love it!
That’s an absolute Beast now, a big thumbs up 👍🏻

Testing the limits of your improvements is the most exciting . Now Pat can get some great shots as it flies over his head . DUCK !!! WHERE .

How do you like the servo? I have slop in mine, if there's no slop let me know. Kind of need no slop at high speeds...
It's about time glad you back Kev!!!
You should check out T-P Extremes channel he makes custom made arrmas and uses a quarry to test them, down 80-90ft vertical drops....
@Bill Perri correct. But i think Thomas still loves his 1/8 cars more ;-)
@Bill Perri i think he just said that. I think the 6S cars is his real favourites.
Thats right boys..now, we cant compare 6 and 3s..but yes the 3s so far..or atleast untill ma latest creation where finished. BUT that said, the 6s and 3s will allways be closest to ma heart.... ♥️
Can't wait to see this absolute beast in action !
Great video can't wait to see the bashing video with all the upgrades on your arrma
Recently started watching you and your videos are awesome man keep it up
Wow !! Some nice quality parts kev, that thing is a monster !!!!
2:46 Does the gear case have a metal insert or did Kevin bodge that little bearing into the race of the old broken bearing?
Wow those arms and chassis look seriously beefy. Looking forward to the rest of the build.
Should you upgrade your suspension arms to handle the added weight when landing jumps?
Spot on mate she should be strong as old houses chap.. great video buddy
Awesome looking kraton. I put a high powered hitec servo in my kraton and it drove the same. Just like your bench test. I had to tighten up the servo saver to get any increase in performance.
killer upgrades, keep the vids comming!
By Far the meanest 1/8 basher I’ve ever seen👁❤️🔋⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Sweet upgrades, should be a total beast now!
you used the servo I showed you! great video too kev 😁

Think I just found it
JX BLS-HV7146MG 46KG
Actually
JX BLS-HV7132MG 32KG
Might be alil bit more relaxed
Nice video kev 👍 looks solid
If hobby shops would start keeping arrma part in stock i would love to get one but i hate down time
Just get another one for parts ;)
Shop right by my house got them , just got a new shock tower , diff case , shocks and body for the kraton
All of the parts really available online. You pay more from Hobby Shops.
Your the man Kevin I've been trying to watch all your videos yoh make the best videos ever
Not sure if you read these comments Kev but even on full size cars some of the driveshafts are called prop shafts, the more you know..........
Kevin would you ever get a Arrma Nero? Also does anyone know why the emaxx is discontinued.
Maybe one day dude :)
@@KevinTalbotTV hey kevin do you think you would ever get a traxxas summit

That thing looks great 👍👍🍻🏁
That machineed chassis is beautiful
Looks tough as hell Kev
Niiiice chassis...but the bit that was used for finishing passes was Duuuuulllllll!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻😲
You should anodize the chassis and towers red to match the rest
Love the vids man keep them coming!
I would have put the middle brace from the Xmax centre shaft for that added safety
Nice video kev can’t wait till UA-cam course is done👍
Nicest Arma in town man!
I was sick last week too, get well soon.
I was cold inside and sweating outside.
Awesome build boss man. ✌
I had the same feeling man!
My heater was at 80 degrees and yet I was still cold.
I stopped shivering when it was at 85. Krazy feeling man.
Get well soon brother so we can rule the world... lol
How do you get screws out once you can no longer use a wrench because they’ve stripped?
@@bananasstuff3344 your a legend
Man that looks sweet!
Would the motor handle it with the appropriate cooling?
I doubt it, the chassis is about double the weight of the stocker, kev should get a long can 4092 motor with a low kv like around 1500kv
RPM makes a rear skidplate for that
It look's like the race from the old bearing is still in there.
Any ideas about a drift car?
putting on stronger stiffer towers on isn't it just going to break the diff housing instead??
Will the servo fit in my rustler VXL or my slash 4x4
yes but horn im not sure
Nice upgrades. Still need an aluminum servo mount 👍
Hey Kev, Great videos. always good to watch after stressful day of work. Maybe we can get a review of a cheap brushless esc and motor... I always see 30 to 50 dollar ones on amazon... lol
You should do a budget 1/8th scale nitro buggy
Baja
Kev,said it before, the way you bash you will bend/break that chassis pretty fast.
Love the build videos!
amazing video kev!
Hey Kev, I was wondering what hex key set you use for working on your xmaxx ? Thanks.
Great build Kevin
You need the m2c racing goliath series chassis for that kraton. Higher grade aluminum and lighter. Hit up m2c racing for one.
Nice info on the upgrades sweet
You should take cbd oil. It will help with not getting sick lol. If you want the site .just pm me back. Any way the arrma look real tough. Can't what to see how it hold up. I bought arrma last year so far no problem's. I may buy the same up grades you did to your arrma .
verry nice car. en super cool chassis and towers.
I just bought the Kraton 4S
It’s insane !!!!
Can you get all these upgrades for the 4S?
Great vid 👍
Come to Chicago ( when it's warmer) and bash with our Arrma & Traxxas crew 😎
Really fancy a arrma now, the weak chassis worried me but know theres after market options available, ill be getting one in summer, great vid👍🏻
i just order the Jx servo ! thanks for the info , hope it works good! cheers!
it will be interesting to see what breaks. im guessing a-arms maybe?
What’s up kev I hope your doing all right. I really think u should bring out your savige, please! Just once, me and thousands of other people will be so happy!!!!!!
Where's the aluminum servo mount!
Traxxas parts on a Arrma that’s an abomination 😱🤣!

I think my favourite part of the videos or the upgradeing and the quality unboxing love the work ❤❤😊
Very cool kev
My personal preference is traxxas because I’ve used that since I was four and my opinion is there reliable and really durable but a little bit pricey
Can you do a review on the helion avenge mt?
Hey great vids keep it up!
That's a lot of weight but it looks sick as hell luving it.
Good luck with the JX servos, Ive been running them for over a year, they arent too bad in a crawler, for a certain amount of time, but in any sort of basher they wont last long. Are you going to run it @ 8.4v to get max torque though ?
Chassis brace is a must now because the diff covers are plastic
Kev get rid of them Gpm braces and get some Customrcupgrade ones. Compliment that chassis a treat.
ARRMA SENTON PLEASE!
Hi Kevin, it would be awesome to see you do a video on the Arrma typhon 3s.
No, ARRMA "fanboi's" as you say love ARRMA for that fact you can use loads of other parts (even traxxas stuff if you need to) on ARRMA RC's.

So what do you think of a kraton in the hands of a beginner ?
Nice build, you should get yourself a alloy servo mount
You might want to get some Tekno orange springs, because of the added weight.
You should try an FPV car sometime!
Hi bro. Are you satisfied from 7032 servo ?
You put on a lot of weight and I think that in this case the shock absorbers should also be changed or harder springs👍
Please make a video on how to install front and lower suspension
Great video kev
What Servo do you suggest on the Rustler 4x4?
not sure i'm still running stock
The 20kg ones off Amazon work good
How long do you think you ran your Slash with the stock motor and 4s ?
a few times and on 6s
Kevin take the kraton lunch and give a good bashing do you still need the tower to tower bar
1:48 that's what she said! 2:49 3:06
