Awesome looking kraton. I put a high powered hitec servo in my kraton and it drove the same. Just like your bench test. I had to tighten up the servo saver to get any increase in performance.

I've also built in a very strong servo in my BSR Berserker. It's a PDI-HV7246MG! This thing is a "Hulk" on my car. I've made my Chassis stronger with some more Aluminum on it. But such a chassis like your's is a dream!

Check the droop screws on the lower A-arms. I installed my JBI chassis over the weekend and found they all needed reset. I have read if they are not set to touch or slightly limit full extension then you are more likely to bend the shock shafts. I haven't experienced this but if you read it on a forum it must be true...

Can you get all these upgrades for the 4S?
Good luck with the JX servos, Ive been running them for over a year, they arent too bad in a crawler, for a certain amount of time, but in any sort of basher they wont last long. Are you going to run it @ 8.4v to get max torque though ?
I have late xmas this year and have the choice between fox edition and rigid traxxas udr. im leaning tawards rigid though what do you think btw I will be running two 3s lipos each 5000 mah and imagine it with the light kit on it because thats my first upgrade

How do you like the servo? I have slop in mine, if there's no slop let me know. Kind of need no slop at high speeds...

Been thinking of starting a new hobby something to replace quad and bikes but still tweakable and something I can involve my boy in as he gets older and I’m leaning towards roc cars was looking at savage x’s cause I kinda wanted to mod it to take a toyan engine at some point but now I’m leaning more towards a kraton or outcast thinking brushless is the way forward rather than nitro less people bitching about noise and constant cost of fuel and oils plus I’m looking at pre owned and the way I see it pre owned nitro is cheaper upfront but with more running costs and the potential of a bad engine where as brushless is more upfront but much less running costs not counting tweaking and replacing damaged parts
So what do you think of a kraton in the hands of a beginner ?

You need the m2c racing goliath series chassis for that kraton. Higher grade aluminum and lighter. Hit up m2c racing for one.

You might want to get some Tekno orange springs, because of the added weight.
My personal preference is traxxas because I’ve used that since I was four and my opinion is there reliable and really durable but a little bit pricey

Hello Kev. I'm looking to upgrade my 1/10 scale HK Desert Fox (cheap as chips and goes like the clappers on 3s) 3250kv 3S motor with a real beast. I'll cut the chassis if need be 😂 I bought a 1/8scale ESC, 150A that uses 3 -6S.
As you see im going for overkill, way too much power and I'm looking for a mental motor with insane power. Gear shredding power bruv.
Do you or the lads have any suggestions please? This standard motor isn't going to take any more S's and gets extremely hot. Like I said "cheap as chips" lol but actually not a bad car once ome much needed upgrades are done. The standard, lower, front suspension arms and holders are very brittle and snap almost as soon as I set off.
I'm also looking the replace the cage with something more sturdy. Weight won't be an issue once I up the power so I may weld rods together and make a roll cage. Heavy as hell but won't break and this will help keep the car on the ground on speed runs.
Thought it all out kev lol got some FPV gear coming in the post so I can see where the cars going. Obvs gonna record it any they'll probably end up on UA-cam for all to see. Peace brother 👍🙂
So since you have had the servo for awhile how does it do. How would it compare to something like a savox 1270 tg

It’s 6065 aluminum right? Some other company makes a 4mm 7075 chassis and towers so it would be lighter and stronger if I understand correctly
You should check out T-P Extremes channel he makes custom made arrmas and uses a quarry to test them, down 80-90ft vertical drops....

Thats right boys..now, we cant compare 6 and 3s..but yes the 3s so far..or atleast untill ma latest creation where finished. BUT that said, the 6s and 3s will allways be closest to ma heart.... ♥️
