Kev, I just wanna say a big thank you brother! I've always been HUGE into RC cars, and my nephew who just turned 3 is obsessed with them and through your videos I've learned all about upgrading our RC cars, trucks, and even boats to make them faster, stronger, and able to do so much more without breaking! I had no idea how much aftermarket gear there is for these awesome rigs!

Even though im a kid, Kev inspired me to buy my own hobby grade rc car, specifically the indestructible wl toys one. My dream is to save up for a 1/ 10 scale rc car! Thanks Kev!
I've had some bad experiences with the EC-5. I recommend switching to XT150. Easy to solder, hold up to a ton of current, Nice to use in General. They come in two seperate parts. Eliminates the hassle with the heat shrink and you don't need adapters to run batteries in series anymore. You can just plug one half into another half and the remaining ones together to one to make two batteries a series pack. My best luck with your project 203 mph. All XT series plugs are golden standard in Germany. They're the best in my opinion.

Hey love your videos. It was your channel that convinced me to buy the Kraton 6s and get back into Rc after 10 years. What convinced me was if you can’t break it easily ithebthing should last me a lifetime. I have run 3 times now and have to say it’s running to take the favorite spot away from my savage. Now for my next truck Its a toss up for me as to getting the Kraton 8s or an xmaxx

My grandpa has a jeep gladiator irl its awesome! He got it a few months after they came out he was saving for when a new jeep came out that he really wanted and as soon as it was announced he was like yep thats it, sold his tractor and bought one!
Love your videos and your upgrades and builds. I am an RC addict lol. I got the big rock v3, then the vortex, then I got the notorious 6s blx. I had prob with the esc so had to take it back to the hobby store. He told me leave it and they will call when it’s ready. Could take months…..😳

The M2C parts are absolutely gorgeous 👍👍👍 there is just nothing as good as the look, durability and finish of those. Your journey with the K8S reminded me very much to your highly upgraded K6S. When there is quite no Arrma part left, they are awesome. Lol 🤣

Yo Kevin, the tool you used to ream out the body post holes would literally have been perfect for the wheels.
Please do a review on the hsp brushless brontosourus (sometimes also called the bug crusher) i just bought one and its great. It has lots of spares available, it is insanely fast, durable AND DIRT CHEAP! i really think its worth a review, it is highly underrated and deserves more credit

When reinforcing the bodies instead of using shoe goo I use roof and gutter silicone. Haven’t had any problems

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I've watched it like 10 times... I copied/ ordered everything you did, the pillow bell retainers are out of stock but I managed to find them from another seller. I can't wait until it all arrives in the mail. The biggest hit is that servo... 224$ OUCH! I actually ordered the S9120BL but spotted are the same as the S9110BL.
Well got a ton of wrenching to do when it All arrives.

The famous person I have wanted to know more about is Kevin Talbot. I find this person interesting because he is a big radio control (rc) car UA-camr. He is very interesting because he has all the new and cool rc cars that I do not have and would like to have. He is also a professional UA-camr that I would like to be one day.
I am very interested in rc cars and have several of my own. Kevin has taught me a lot about the cars and the mechanics of the cars. He also shows videos of driving and wrenching the cars.

I’m putting an XLX2 and castle 1100kv in my Kraton 8S RTR. With that big motor and ESC, what’s the best 4S battery pack to run for high performance? I want to maximize voltage but hopefully not spend an arm as well. Thanks!

Hey Kevin! You should get colored body clips. I have black bodies and red clips. It would be cheap and really makes them look better. Also if you get some thicker clips, the bodies will have a lower chance of popping off. Great vid! Love the car 🔥

He doesn't pay attention to how much stuff costs. He just buys it if he wants it. The Esc alone is over $200. The motor is around $140. The M2C mounts are atleast $50 and the servo is $150.
