I did say many other youtubes not ALL youtubers, sorry for the confusion. It seams to me in order to get free samples you have to hide the bad points. I value credibility over handouts and by the sounds of it you do too so all good :) Love your vids by the way dude. At a side note, I wouldn't turn down freebees so long as I can be 100% honest, that's the deal I have with banggood :) I have many brands contact me most days offering me free stuff and when I tell them I'll only review if I can be 100% honest and show bad point too they go all quiet!
The traxxas 1/6E REVI VXL cost around 230 $ in traxxas store and they cant ship to my land. So in my land the rc car cost 400$
Weird. My outcast came built way different than this one. Metal everywhere and a lot different battery box. I love my outcast and thank you for reviewing the outcast. Love your channel brotha.

@@BananaDucshortz I mean it makes sense with suspension arms, Everybody knows not to run aluminum arms cause they'll bend. I look at the chassis the same way. Still love my v3 kraton though. Every time my cousin and I go out the 2 trucks that ALWAYS come are the kraton and xmaxx..... But I can't wait to get a 4s outcast.. Sometimes I don't feel like lugging around my xmaxx for a bash session and a smaller truck would be nice, Seems to fit the bill.
metal chassis can be ok if designed right and they use the correct material but I agree, 99% of the time plastic is better for bashing

sounds like it ticks all the boxes dude. i had it out the other day again, the delay in the controls is bad and makes it so unpredictable, everyone says its the radio so ill change it out.
@@KevinTalbotTV the STX2 controller sucks 😝. I just swapped in the old Tactic TTX300 👍 and recalibrated. These 4s rigs make a whizzing sound. Sometimes the slipper will slowly loosen up too. Running mine 1/2 turn out from tight 👍. Be careful if you get yours wet. The slipper and rear input bearings seize up easily 👀. Rubber sealed is the way. 🍻

Threre is converters to convert the connecter you do not need to cut the cables. By the way your my favourite youtuber you taught me a lot about RC cars and I really appreciate what you do for your fans.

Nice u got the Outcast, I just got one last week too but the 6s version n so far im liking it, U have the Notorious so u already know how the 6s versions run
Theres a cable holder clip for ur balance lead wires, its right on the spur gear cover
Also change that crappy radio out, they say it has a delay when u put the power down

They should of stuck with the tactic TX300 radio, the TX300 come with my typhon 3s, its a really good radio.

If you are experiencing Delay issues turn on the radio hold down the set button on the ESC as soon as you see the ESC flash red press the set button and leave your controller at the neutral position and then do the same for full throttle and full break I have put a different receiver in there and you get better range love your videos keep it up m8
Another good review. About batteries with those type of plug you just need use a good adhesive velcro joint the batteries in position when the cables don't touch together and go for bashing.
That is my dream rc car!!!! i really really really really want one! but the price in here in Malaysia is crazy expensive and the spare parts are super duper hard to find here too

in my opinion, the EC% connectors are the best at staying together during hard landings. i dont go hard as bad as you, but i do push my cars. never had one come unplugged. i now change all my ESCs to the EC5s
I bought one 4 weeks ago. driven it 4 times. First time broke the right rear a arm. second run with replaced a arm, all good. the third run broke rear left a arm. replaced it. 4th run broke the chassis after landing on a corner of jump right in the middle of the chassis. It was my first arrma, and i'm honestly a bit disappointed. It is a fun truck, no daubt. But not as tough as i would like. I'm a pretty careful driver with my rc cars...
Been waiting for a while for this review. I bought the Kraton 4s, replaced servo and radio just after box was opened. Great review. I look forward to seeing what you get out of this truck.

Any battery will puff up. I had it happen to me and I found out I wasn't running the proper C rating. Love the video. Have a good one Kev.

Kev like I said in your other video. New servo and hot racing servo saver kit. Turn off punch control and tighten the slipper a turn or two and it'll help the laziness.
I love my 4s trucks though.
And pick up a full set of spare arms, the arm quality seems a bit inconsistent as my outcast has been to skate parks and BMX tracks no issue but my 4s kraton broke an arm on the second run, I was jumping it hard but still broke with "less" abuse

The Arrma slider plastic driveshafts are a LOT better then the Traxxas ones. The only issue that happens sometimes is the axles come apart because they aren't tightened from the factory
From the videos I've seen it appears that the 4S Outcast whellies much to easily for my driving skills. I'd prefer the 4S Kraton but would want a more substantial front bumper and the Outcast 4S tires on the Kraton

I can’t wait to see you beat the hell out of that thing. I had the 6s versions , your right about the plastic chassis , my senton 3s has a plastic chassis and that car takes the most beating out of any of my cars. Plastic for the win
If the 3s blx system is anything to go by, this will be an awsome basher. We have a senton and a big rock. Both break on a regular basis as does my kraton, but overall they are fairly strong. Give it some welly kev, if anyone can show the weak points you can!!
Got agree, the tactic radio is much faster and better quality than the new spectrum it comes with now. Servo's are pants and parts availability is ok if you shop in America.... T-bone bumpers are a good investment, but again only from the U.S.A. and expensive for what you get. As you can see, I'm not an arrma fanboy just like the look of em in general. On the same score, my trx4 is good too but has its faults....

Turn up the punch!!! My friend just got one and couldn't figure out why there was a "delay" when you pull the throttle! I think stock it was set to 1 out of 5. And the brakes! There are a lot of settings for the brakes! It's all in the manual, but I'm sure you've already learned that and changed them by now :P

Great unboxing vid Kev looks like a really fun truck looks to be really well made I may have to look into getting one. You should try a Redcat Landslide man I beat mine mercilessly and I haven't broke anything. I'll let me take that back the rear bumper got sheared off when I was bashing somewhere and disappeared. Not that I cared because I was planning on putting a wing mount on it anyways. All I did to it from the box was change the spur gear to steal and put 500k diff fluid in the center just like I would any center diff vehicle I'm not a fan of plastic Spurs.

I like plastic driveshafts. Mip heavy duties are the best but then your transmission and diffs suffer when you crash
personally I love the spektrum controllers. they come with about all horizon hobby cars and the only problem ive had with mine is the steering thing has lost its temtion on one side after a year of abuse
Loving mine... I was curious to see if she really is Kev fast because it sure seems like a rocket to this old timer. It does handle really nice once you get the throttle under control, but wheelies on a whim... My slide saver screws are in rough shape, and by shape I mean ground down flat. Sparky sparky...

I Have an rc Halstorm tht got run over one time after getting brand new shocks, and to my surprise it's still kicking.
I was inspired to get it aftor seeing one of your videos. You alwase know how to fix cars even if they're trashed.

First things that break on those is arms front and back would recommend you oil the pins and also get a tbr bumper and 6s typhon aluminum shocks fit on front and back 3s is amazing and 4s is too much power!
Hi Kevin nice compact set up looks like a sturdy RC if you don't mind me asking what are the purple handled tools you use you look very handy and strong get into the tightest of gaps need to get me some. You have to do a RC Sundance to get rid of this weather ⛈ brilliant channel

Hey Kev, your problem with the slow acceleration could be a bit of throttle dual rate misadjustment.
Make sure to have a in near for all the parts
My rear differential yoke has melted 2 times causing failure in my stock Outcast 4S within a month. I'm in the process of returning the truck.

Looks good but, I prefer the looks of the 1/8th scale one as the wheels on the 1/10th one look to close together but I do like that the 1/10th one has is 4s as I feel 6s is a little bit to powerful for me but I am a beginner in rc. Hopefully I'll see you at Paddlesworth on Sunday!!!

I bought a Thunder Tiger EK4 years ago because of good reviews. It sucked so bad it was the worst RC I ever had and I felt so cheated. I made a promise to myself to never make anything out to be better than what it is
6 months to a year from now: Arrma OutCast 4s gets a 6s Castle upgrade! Would be a good idea if it holds up.

Hey kev would you recommend the outcast 4s or the erevo 2.0 for hard bashing
Outcast 4S. Both need upgrades but cost less for the upgrades on the 4S Arrmas
I normally keep a load of different adaptors to a T-plug just in case
So I can't find a single video on the subject but I feel it's right up your ally,
I've been trying to figure out how the 4s outcast dose with the 6s 150 amp firma esc and 1700kv surpass motor 😅 it came heavily upgraded but before I bash it full power on 6s I'm looking for some reviews and tops speed runs, on stock 4s it's already crazy 🤪
A wheelie bar is in the future and especially if you want to speed run her!
The plastic chassis are really tough I mean in our last bash landed on the edge of a skate ramp and bent it and then it went straight back into shape
Also helps with the center driveshaft being spring loaded

i cant wait until you take this to the skate park. I am really curious about it's durability. Especially those drive shafts. If they hold up, it would be great because metal ones tend to bend. these will not.
It's probably that remote being cheap making the response slow put the tactic in and see if is any different
