My guess is she didn’t eat the chocolate. She had a tender moment with her Dad, her best friend finally apologized to her, evil stepmom is gone, and now she has a life partner. I’d say she is happy to move on sans dog.

Nah what i think is that the man with baby in the end has the calendar meaning it wasn't destroyed although her bf threw it from the roof signifying that she took the pill and it was reset and so was the calender, but thats the good thing about these movies you can make your own ending

Kind of reminds me of a very sinister Jumanji. Whole bunch of crazy crap happens, but it all gets reset once you get to the end of the "game".
That advent calendar looks so cool, I love that there’s a key to unlock each one too.

I'm pretty sure she ate the chocolate, because the man with his baby at the end showed up to her house the same way she showed up to the blind mans house who also ate the chocolate to get his family back and had no clue what she was talking about.

seeing as the guy has the calendar, either it’s inevitable or she ate the candy. she seemed to open the door pretty fast, like she knew what he was talking about. i guess id have to watch the movie to fully understand how important those people were to her.

I got two conclusions, First, she ate it and goes back to the first day where she is cripple. Second, she did not eat it, hook up with the guy and moved on from the house with the money she earned on that stock. Well about the last scene, Rip for the baby.

If the guy has her phone which looks undamaged means he is the next person in the calendar cycle. If the phone undamaged even being thrown off the roof so was the calendar. Meaning she ate the chocolate restarting time. Because like the painting her phone went back in time with the calendar.
So, if she eats the last chocolate and everything goes back to the way it was, does she get the advent calendar as a gift from Sophie again? OH GREAT....HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SLEEP TONITE PONDERING THIS?!
Why would she? that would mean that the same person gets the calendar over and over again. It's more likely the calendar just magically appears somewhere else.

I agree with you. I am deaf and if i could, i would do the same thing and eat the last chocolate. Yes hearing again, forever, would be cool but not if people or animals have to die for it. Plus, i have learned to live with it and accept it as it is.

I will say, I think the point of the calendar it's that it's litterly just a german folklore type magic calendar.
Kinda like the original hansel and gretel which is much more violent than what cartoons show, german folk stuff is just very violent generally, I don't think the intent of the calendar was to be evil in the first place, I think it was just to give people what they want the most but have it weigh on the death of their close friends, maybe as a moral lesson that they should value how they were before the things they wanted and how it's actually better, or not they can still continue with their life and deaths *shrugs*

Somehow, I kinda like this. I mean, it's having 24 days of something, like doing something I haven't and probably won't ever do anymore, and then I get a chance to bring everyone back. Temporary sacrifices.
I'd do it all, enjoy the 24 days, then after that, everyone's back. And although I won't remember it, I'd feel like I lived a dream.

I watched this one in cinema, kinda refreshing to have a horror movie with good ending. This calendar is actually kinda lenient.

This video just amazing. Love your channel, can't watch horror movies because they give me horrible nightmares but I still love them so this channel really helps.
I would eat the chocolate though, her dad happily sacrificed himself, the best friend and the boyfriend could have been prevented but too bad... The dog ate someone so that's not good and all their deaths would be remembered in my heart forever.

The film called the advent calendar that came out in 2021 is about Eva is a paraplegic. On her birthday, her friend Sophie gives her a strange advent calendar. It’s not the traditional treats you find when you open each drawer, but quirky gifts that are scary and get bloodier.
It would have been nice to know what decision she made, rather than leaving a cliff hanger. Very good story. 🥰🇬🇧👍🧚
