- Another commissioned pop-culture dinosaur study but this time it's the male Aucasaurus named Dragonfly from the 2003 documentary Dinosaur Planet and a separate study of the quadrupedal antagonist some refer to as a Quadrex or Fasolasuchus from the 2023 movie 65.
Speedpaint recorded in Procreate for iPad.
I've really been enjoying drawing these pop-culture dinosaurs (and other movie monsters) that I've been sketching lately. I hope you all enjoy them too!
great speedpaint I enjoyed seeing the stages of both image being being outlined then slowly formed into the finished drawing great work keep it up!
What's kinda Funny is that The "Fasolasuchus" in 65 isn't a Fasolasuchus cuz We don't have Concept Art Labeled with a Name and We can tell that The Lanky Boys are Lagosuchus cuz We have Concept Art Labeled "Lago"
The movie 65 always made me refer it as a reversed version of Planet Of The Dinosaurs because the dinosaurs are stated to be aliens in Planet Of The Dinosaurs so I was always drawing ideas of making a modern adaptation of that movie
Man, no wonder Fasolasuchus in 65 had a darker shade of blue!
“It’s Dragonfly…again.”
“Like a bad penny, Dragonfly keeps turning up.”
Dragonfly .
Great art
What about make the others Dinosaur Planet dinosaurs with they "accurate" desings?
Gnarly! Nice work! Literally, why would Aucasaurus Dragonfly be named after a bug?
magnificent
nice
After thinking about it, maybe they could’ve used the Fasolasuchus just for the Cave scene, and then after that keep the deleted triceratops for the rest of the movie, *but* it’s just a concept
Also, I feel as if 65 should’ve been longer 😕
1:23 Where did you find these behind the scenes materials?
There's an unlisted video that you can find people linking over on twitter.
Emily worked on the production for the movie thats why (joking)
@@frostbitetheannunakiiceind6574 No. If Emily had actually worked on this movie, the dinosaur designs would have looked much better.
@@simbiotesnus1013 So damn true
wait since when did you have a youtube channel!!
For quite a while now, just doesn't have as much traction as my other social media lol
@@EmilySteppPaleoart I've been a fan of your art for a while now, I cant believe I'm only JUST now finding it XD
Quadrupedal t rex
Like a genetic hybrid that would be called “Fasolatyrannus”.
@tycooper9147 yes
what software did you use?
These are in Procreate for ipad.
May I ask where you found the images of the concept arts for the 4 legged monster from 65?
An unlisted sfx video, you can find it on Twitter probably.

There's an unlisted youtube video that people posted the link to over on twitter that you should be able to find.
