I decided to put two of these in my truck since I have 4 of my dads kicker 8 inch tubes from the 80s that he had stacked in his foxbody that still work and I have two I put in my moms Jeep 😂
@@bryanCLXT yup they still bump I have 4 that’s what dad had in the fox back in the day when mom sold her Jeep I took them out now they are back in the shelf till her bronco come in

even though i cant find the soundstream usb-10 anymore to buy. which do you recommend? this kicker tube or the soundstream under seat? looking for a solution for my wife's tiny buick encore without taking up space. dont need to shake the doors off. just fill in that low missing sound.
This tube produces a much deeper and wider sound field than most any under seat that can be purchased. Under seats are more vibrational to your body due to location. More subtlety, under seat. A little more pound, this guy
Do yourself a favor and just build your own box people you can literally build a box that Fits perfectly to your exact vehicle not only that but it sounds better
Mruca those tubes are built to spec for the sun by the manufacturer for ease of installation. They work very well for what they were designed for. Seen allot of “DYI”. Installs here on you tube. Highly doubt the majority of people will build an appropriate box for any project. Allot of people may but majority just won’t let’s not kid ourselves.
angellaketown All the boxes I build are built to speck and tuned correctly and kicker is way over priced get deafbounce or sundown or skar it’s not hard to build a box Port calculators and cubic feet calculators
Those brands are great for what they were designed for. Will not get into the nuances off “over priced” etc. I’m not in the DYI market of SPL. There are brands for all types out there. SPL types subs for those situations and all around subs for that situation and sq subs for that environment. I wouldn’t use a w6 or a Orca Raven sub for SPL as I would never use the brands you listed for quality reproduction. That when designing a system and budget comes into play. But again you named really good brands for what they are known for SPL. Not the target market of the kicker tube.
Why are all televisions rectangular and in some cases square and not round or such? Why do the most common bicycles we use today have two wheels not three or four? Everyone eventually copies everyone nowadays. It is what sells that matter.

I had a Bazuka tube in my younger days. Loved it
Bazuka's are beasts!
LOOONNNNGGGG time ago had two 10" tubes with a Fosgate amp in my RX-7. It hit so hard the RPM gauge would jump when the car was not running!
@@RebelRob34 aahhhh the good ole days. Right?! Lol
This was the test I needed to see before I picked mine up, tomorrow.
What amp did you use for this soeaker
How do you like it?
Been playing this on my jet ski , love it.
What size you got bro ? They bass pretty good ? Thinking bout putting the 2 10” ones on my boat 🛥
Do tell!...thinking of adding to our 2016 Seadoo GTR 215's....lemme know what u got and how u mounted!
Ain't seen one of these in years
MAKE SURE IF YOU MOUNT IT VERTICAL THE ACTIVE driver is point up!!! Not down. Confirmed that with kicker direct
Oh thanks for the info!

Don't think you can install it upside-down. I mean if you look at where the brackets attach you can clearly see what side it's on
Thank you so much for sharing this video so helpful 🙌🏽
do they have built in amplifier? which to go for 8inch or 10inch?
No built in amp
Go 10”

I have been thinking about putting these in my jeep but wasnt sure how many jeepers did this. I was thinking they would save space vs the bulky box
was this test done on the 8" or 10"?
Wonder if 2 ft piece of pvc would make good sealed tube for woofer.

Wowza! It's a new round bazooka for my square car!!
Boston Jim has a bazooka tube strapped down in the back of his 1986 mustang . My mom thinks it’s cool though.
Your mother LOVES my tube

Does it have to be mounted in my ride?Exactly what I’m looking for but don’t want to drill into my jeep
Louie, it will roll around pretty badly if not mounted.
You can wear as a hat! That’s what my plumber does
How do you go about powering that inside with AC current????
12V power supply
This is how sound test should be
They are really worth it

I would love to see someone swap a JL W7 in one of those tube and see if it could handle the pressure
That'd be interesting to see!
Is the grill on the kicker metal or plastic? I want to order 2 of them for my compr
What size speaker do they offer??
In my msp6 I have the nitro bottle subs that really ad a kick to my system
The looks are great but just not enough power
lol add more than one!
which one is better
Can I put 2 10inch dvc's in one of these tubes?
Oh yeah you can!! You should be able to put 3 of them in there! Lol 😂
Is the tube full of fiber glass insulation thats what the bazooka had inside
Wrong
They should make the l7 square tube
They do now. I saw one today at Car Toys.
What amplifier was used for this sub
Are they self amplified?
No you have to add an amp
Do they make 12 inch?
Unfortunately just 8 and 10
does it comes with a build in amp
No it doesn't

Im thinking the same. 2. 10”s
I have one on my 2003 Glastron SX175, with a 600w amp and 4 Rockford Fosgate 6 1/2s. Beats shockingly hard for an open cabin.
What the max

Please metric measurements as well.

Alpine traditional bass tubes are better.
Why?
how does it feel to not be an innovator and copy the bazooka bass tube
Why are all televisions rectangular and in some cases square and not round or such?
Why do the most common bicycles we use today have two wheels not three or four?

These are ridiculously expensive. They cost as much as an l7.
Wrong
This sub looks soft ill pass and get a bazooka and call it a day LOL Sorry Kicker but this is not your thing here
