I chuckled at “somewhere out there is a switch with two B buttons”
✋
I lowkey want the switch with two B buttons... if only it was meant two B... ha ha... why am I like this?
Oh boy, he did some thinking to come up with that one !
Video games do release dopamine though, literally doing anything pleasurable does
@KryptiiK but dopamine is the chemical that your body gets addicted to. You crave whatever method releases it.
KryptiiK everything addictive is chemical lmao
Yeah so does pooping. Why the fuck do people try to sue for everything nowadays
@@cak5171 Chemical addiction refers to addiction to having a chemical put into you from outside your body. So drugs.
@@Adam-cq2yo nooo... Omg. How can we dumb this down.
The game or (anything pleasurable like sex or cliff diving) creates a chemical reaction in your body because any time you enjoy something alot it causes the brain to release dopamine.
I'm surprised he didn't talk about how there's a war going on in Fallout 76 between first subscribers and free players where players that play for free are attacking anyone that has the first player icon
You're kidding?? I might get it now just for that kind of chaos lol
Because no-one actually gives a shit about the few thousand idiots that play Fallout 7💩
Excuse players that play for free tf I paid 60$ for the game. Fuck Bethesda they will get none of my money fuck star field and Skyrim 6.
@@PFunkMasterFresh you'd really boycott es6? C'mon be real you'll still play Bethesda game's despite their blatant overwhelming flaws.
@@PFunkMasterFresh starfeild maybe but elder scrolls 6 don't kid your self we all can't wait to play that game in 10 years
That man is single handedly crowd funding that transformers game. He's a legend
That man is single handedly paying for each of the give developer's rents
Buts it's Hasbro.
@@poptarttss you mean the publishers higher ups rents
:South Park bank reference:
"Alright we'll put this money in the bank for you....... Annnnd it's gone"
"What do you mean it's gone...?"
I always look forward to these toward the end of the month
Patrick Robino
Like what?
Same
That's just a drop ceiling, not hard to cut out at all. Probably didn't cost much
On top of that the cross section from that hole makes it look like styrofoam.
@@tristemsaris7739 ikr.. and obviously cut with a box cutter.
ya or it maybe just drywall its a really good idea
I thought the same thing gimme a sawzall and a ladder and I’ll make ya one for $100
It's definitely sheetrock.
"PRESS THE Y BUTTON"
'WHICH ONE'
Y U BULLY ME
Gretah Hounshell I DONT KNOW PICK ONE!!!
Was that trophy made in China?
Surely.
Did it explode?
(China will remember that)
Oh right, cause China having a authoritarian government makes everything that comes out of the country and even the people themselves bad.
UA-cam play buttons are made in China... damn near everything you own in your house, and on your body are 'Made in China' so fucj off with that shit!
#2 is literally the perfect way to advertise. This is the age of memes, fuckery like that is exactly wtf people are looking for.
True but sad at the same time.😞
That and Kojami is a weird dude, this stuff probably seems normal to the guy.
Hence why we love him.
220k in microtransactions in an unknown game....smells like money laundering to me
Whenever Falcon states a contrasting opinion: *Ok bird*
"Hah, morals? Nah not here"
-Gaming industry, 2019
-Gaming Industry, 2006-present
XD
That Switch Lite will become a collectors item some day.
@Dylan sky What are your thoughts on the *"Emotional Painbody"* that Ekharte Tolle talks about?
@Dylan sky Your comment is literally pointless. Good job on being vigilant patrolman.
@Dylan sky You are doing a terrible pointless comment👏👏
"Somewhere out there, there's a Nintendo Switch... with two B buttons."
at first i was like, yeah shit like that happen.
but then...
the revelation shook me.
and that B button is where the A button should be. the cycle continues.
The weird world of gaming always gets weirder...
this was confusing n wild to watch!
And the weirder gets weirder
Thats pretty fuckin weird
So weird to see the “Before you Buy” thumbnail without a different head! Nice pic Mr. Baldino.
The Playstation ceiling only cost him $90 USD apparently. (The guy who posted it said it)
"the B button is where the second Y button should be"
Oh, that same drug that gets released when you enjoy anything?
how to steal art correctly
step 1 make sure they are nobody like me
step 2 make sure they are too poor to fight back just like me
Trophy: *breaks*
Blizzard: it's a feature not a bug.
It's not a poorly made trophy, it's a suprise lego colaboration
I look forward to the end of months, for this video.
It’s the cheapest foam looking ceiling I’ve ever seen haha.
As for the asset/image steal story, true, _everything_ eventually gets traced down. Even the sky images in DooM (1993) were traced down to the exact random book they took them from.
Number 10 the arcade looks amazing sucks it closing down
EvE players acted like EvE players. and this is news how? lol
"When you undock your ship you agree to nonconsensual pvp"
I’m just waiting for another catastrophe to strike that costs thousands of dollars like that one time a few years ago.
@@konradplatt3833 So water is wet.
Do not expect complete safety even in deepest of Empire space.
The story was actually reported on with inaccuracies, the area blockaded is designated for faction PVP but is plagued by botters and people cheesing the PVE content. This was actually quite an interesting move by players to improve the game where the developers won't
@@stompstomp8033 Been away for a while, nullsec drone ratting again?
My "like" was added at "truck truck truck". You're incredible. 🤣
That roof wall is probably gypsum board (especially if lights are installed).. they are high quality alright, but not expensive and easy to custom. It also used mostly these days
Falcon can beat every dad with his jokes.
Legit one of the GREATEST channels for games on youtube.
Halloween: by bros
No nut november: i am back
The Amazed Player get back to me when you have gone 7 years without a nut
@@mattfahringer148 challenge accepted!
@@MadWatcher aaahn man
Please don’t stop doing these videos. Love the random shit i find out
I was just at that arcade last month! Sad to hear it's closing, but glad I got to experience it before it closes.
No mention of Blitzchung? Hmmm...
Well, it's been covered, and it's more infuriating than surprising...but still...
Player broke the rules and got punished. It's not as interesting as people want it to be.
@@amuro9624 That may be true, but I'd of opened an inquiry about the whole process and looked into punitive damages for the overkill and knee-jerk reaction.
I would of considered it one of those 'honorable mentions', that they usually have at least one of in these list videos.
They want to stay monetized
@@zjs2879 why would they get demonetized for that?
@@amuro9624 Because, UA-cam algorithm is a shitcan fire, lolz
I love your Weird Stories!!
Paradox actually outsourced the making of the mobile game to a Chinese based company. But they are guilty by association. The drawback of being a publisher.
Conan has been supporting games and the industry with his silly videos for years now, so I am totally on board with having him on the game.
Whenever we are satisfied caused by happiness due to doing things we like, dopamine is ALWAYS released; like, that's the whole reason for feeling happy.. so you're actually wrong there Gameranx
war... War never changes....
Microtransactions, microtransactions never changes
Fallout did. It was good now it’s ruined
Pay to Win never changes
Now everybody is rushing to that arcade thanks to Gameranx!
I got banned for having too much ammo in Fallout 76 and too much fun in Outer Worlds.
the hearthstone announcers running into each other made me laugh too lol
Woah, a Gameranx video that has Sot in it, my dreams have come true
You could do the ceiling thing quite cheap actually
for #9: That is happning right now with Marvel's star wars comic taking ship designs from fanart.
I don't think I've ever seen Paradox mentioned on here!
What’s music background???? Sounds very familiar. Like a game I played when I was a youngster
Anybody else notice the irony of Falcon saying games aren't addictive, then a story or two later he says how someone spent $250,000 in microtransactions?
“Peace was never an option”
That eve stuff was heaviliy misinterpreted here. It wasnt about the start of a war the war was already going it was about forcing players who already engage in that war to engage more into pvp over pve. If you dont already take part in the faction warfare in eve online you were not affected by that.
@@konradplatt3833 Hes talking about the goose...
@@sethadkins546 Oh well nevermind then
Although the correction of the Eve thing still stands.
The playstation ceiling is probably spackled foam... relatively easy and cost effective, takes an artist touch to make it look crazy!
I am very pleased with the way addiction was talked about here, even considering it was a 10 second aside in a mostly silly not-exactly-serious-but-kinda context, Falcon hit the nail on the head. Virtually ANYthing can become psychologically addictive to ANYone so inclined. There's actually a relatively small amount of things out there that cause legitimate physical dependency. Fun fact: methamphetamine surprisingly does NOT cause physical addiction, only psychological.
The game releases dopamine because that’s just what your brain does to reward you when you’re doing something you enjoy.
With the Stellaris mobile thing at 1:32 I am surprised no one noticed the stolen art, it literally still has the warthogs and scorpions visible, does nobody check this stuff?
Quick correction on the EVE story, there were some inaccuracies. The NPCs being blockaded are mission giving NPCs in an area called a "Faction Warfare Zone" the idea of the zone is for low stakes PVP, however it's plagued with people cheesing/botting the PVE content and avoiding the PVP content. This is why the players have taken it upon themselves to intervene.
The board used for the ceiling is probably aero concrete boards, it's like drywall but made with concrete that has thousands of air bubbles in it making it light and durable.
i kinda laughed so hard at "its cool wat you did - you rich bastard" :D
Haha the "before you buy Jake" at 1:28
And now I'm going to listen to the Thong Song, thanks Falcon
I love how Eve online's big wars are always so extreme. Like the Bloodbath of B-R5RB was estimated to cost over 300 thousand U.S. dollars, and if you ask me, that's a hell of alot of money for a video game war, and not to forget to mention the servers had to be drastically slowed down so they could actually do all of the calculations for the thousands of ships that were fighting.
Is the Joaquin Phoenix cigar image a meme for this channel? I swear I've seen it in almost every video for weeks now :D
That sucks about that arcade closing. On my last trip to Japan I was going to go there then something came up and I decided I would just go there on next year's trip. :(
Looks like drop ceiling tiles or foam, cheap and easy to cut. Running the LEDs would be a pain though.
Just looks like drywall to me nothing expensive at all but cool idea for a gaming area
Can’t wait till next month.
1:26 HAHAHA made the macaroni I was eating pop out of my nose!
Amazing video and what happen to Bethesda they are becoming like EA with there games why that not good etc fantastic job gameranx
Imagine trying to start a war by blocking off the things they people want to do and everyone just teams up against you and wipes you off the map.
I would just like to take the time and thank Falcon for the out-of-nowhere Sisqo reference, didn't see that coming.
As one of the players taking part in that EVE Online Amarr/Minmatar blockade, your statements on it are incorrect. A coalition of players from both sides of that factional Warfare aspect of the game are working together to blockade the mission givers to force the developers of EVE Online to fix a broken aspect of the game. It is not to force players to play the game differently, but to raise a big flag over a broken and long neglected aspect of the game. Please contact people involved before making a statement about something like this.
KommisarGShad I hope you guys accomplish your goal.
Thank you. I noticed that too. Im not an active eve player anymore though so i wasnt sure what exactly was going an and didnt dare to explain it.
Was that a Scott Pilgrim “Garbage Truck” joke? Lol
Ok, Mr Goose needs to be in every resident evil game from now on
I love these vids to bad they come out once a month
Just curious did u know that one of your songs in this vid is the intro to modestpelecan gaming?
I lowkey want the switch with two B buttons... if only it was meant two B... ha ha... why am I like this?
I love these......
Surprised a bit that ye didn't cover a story the fact that people who didn't play for fallout 1st are attacking people who have paid for the subscription (in the game not irl)
That game had one sh*t show after another since release. When its just another bs in long line of those you cant call something weird any more`. Its expected by now basically
god I miss arcades. last one in Alaska shut down 5 years ago. I think theres still chucky cheese though in anchorage
That ceiling looks like styrofoam or a similar material.
That usually the material those fancy features are made from.
That 2 Y button switch is now a collectable. Items with mild factory defects are usually sought after as collectibles. EX: purple ty beanie bear.
Omg that Jake slide in 😂
That fallout September 18 dlc review I FEEL you
if you look at these Playstation buttons and the "cuttet hole" in the middle , it looks like some kind of styrofoam , not very Expensiv , but still looks great .
Untitled Goose Game is a lot of fun.
Simple. Cute. Fun.
When do you know your game is a hit???
When people compare the game with drugs.
When do you know your parenting is shit?
When you put more efforts in suing a company rather than teaching your kids discipline.
Yea it works in the reverse too!
When my heroin dealer told me "This shit is like FortNite" I knew my world was about to be blown, and the 'Dragon was going to chase ME'!
I hope that lawsuit works out, those corrupted gaming giants are exploiting how we think and how we get addicted, its how we function that they are messing with.
@@Teddy-P lol you're joking right? U know u get dopamine from food? Are u gonna sue restaurants too? Or decide that you should control how much u eat?

Bro you clearly don’t know how it works so I’d delete that comment if I were you.
6:54
*laughs in bloodborne*
Two Y buttons?
*But Y tho?*
I'll see myself out 😂
Being addicted to something has to fall under certain criteria. Games can be addictive by a clinical definition, but it's rather rare like most other physical addictions that don't involve directly injecting chemicals into the body. Some criteria I can remember at the moment include it disrupting your work life and close relationships in a very negative way; i.e. Calling in sick to play frequently, ignoring social activities that you would normally have gone to, etc. It can also cause you to neglect your own well being and hygiene, such as not eating enough or trouble staying hydrated, and so on.
Wow Bethesda nice work!
-Ubisoft “hold my Breakpoint”
That's the weirdest " Trophy " I've ever seen.
In fact, technically it isn't even a " Trophy "
There's two parts so " Trophies "?
It looks cool
Nope. It is, like most things, made of multiple pieces. It is not a complete whole unit without each piece - like most things. It is a single trophy made of multiple parts: the medallion and the stand. One trophy.
@@jpcrafton69 Ok, I take your point.
@@pessimisticpianist582
That's what she said.
11:07
*Peace was never an option*
Okay so, basically those anti-fortnite parents are saying dopamine should be banned? So no sex, TV, spending time with family etc?
If Fortnite is cocaine, Skyrim is Heroin
"To sell ones soul to the devil"
Laughing preist
Will and testament
House deed
That Gaming can keep creating all these stories without fail
I don’t know about chemical addiction, but yes my two children are addicted to that game, and good Lord I almost have to physically pull them off the game to do anything other than play that game🙄 thanks for the great video.
1:29 we finally found the guy's original head on the "Before you buy" videos.
Fun fact: a psychologist showed that social media's 'maybe' factor ( so if u keep on scrolling on let's say facebook or twitter because something might show up that interests you) indeed releases 4 times the dopamine than cocaine does. Actually not even so far off to sue a video game to create addiction.
3:20 the sceeling is probably just concrete, painted over with the "tisle" grooves grinded in to look better. They probably just carved the symbols in like they did the grooves
Warfare had that problem transformers had but they stopped all transactions across the platform itself. Best devs ever
