There needs to be more people out there like you. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to make videos like this, there are not a lot of people in the industry who go out of their way to do this. And for that, I'm grateful, and thank you.
Words cannot describe how much your channel has helped me with art, I really thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you’ve shown all of us!
I think I may have found your channel doomscrolling through tiktok 😂 And wanted to say thank you for putting out so much material and information! I have a question, or maybe I'm looking for a recommendation on where to start. I've worked in film and now ended up in gamedev, doing motion graphics, screen graphics and vfx and primarily focusing on ui art and some 3D. I have a decent foundation and understanding of things like light and color theory, composition, motion and etc. I've done sketching for storyboards (nothing fancy, mostly like motion lines, stick people and more detailed sketches of ui elements) but I'd like to do some character design, particularly anime mecha/cyberpunk for personal/passion projects. (side note: havent done a single personal project in like 4 years due to various reasons, which is a long and uninteresting story lol) So where would I start if I wanted to be able to sketch/paint anime characters/machinery? (but dont really have much experience drawing otherwise) I think thats been like my biggest dream, to make a short feature film/animation ever since I started working in the creative field many years ago 😂
can you please make something (perhaps long) on how to start with something? thats my main problem, like if i can be provided a rough sketch or base or whatever, i can do a decent job at detailing it (i tried) but starting from scratch is so weirdly difficult...like I tried making a gun and spent 20 minutes only to make 0 progress lmao and i tried making a dagger, and spent like 60% time on getting to the rough base part 💀 very confusing how to start a piece, and practicing advice more doesnt really help (though surely helps for detailing) since i cant even start at all ya know,
Hi Gammatrap! I really love your content. I really am interested in learning how to draw and paint but am worried that AI will make being an artist a skill of the past. Do you think this is a valid concern? Thanks.
Once you've gotten started, here's your next step! ua-cam.com/video/yROMXZ69ZDs/v-deo.html
