Muhammad Mokhber to Take Over Presidency Following Tragic Death of Ebrahim Raisi

- If a president dies in office, article 131 of the Islamic Republic's constitution says that the first vice president - who is Mohammad Mokhber - takes over, with the confirmation of the supreme leader, who has the final say in all matters of state in Iran.
A council consisting of the first vice president, the speaker of parliament and the head of the judiciary must arrange an election for a new president within a maximum period of 50 days.

Iranians are some of the most wonderful & adorable people in the world. Among the entire Middle East I would say the Persians are the most intelligent people in the world. This mad regime has sunk the country & it's people which would have been a regional superpower otherwise.
Had the people had the atmosphere & opportunity to show their talent. Persia would have been a blessed & among the richest countries in the world with such intelligent brains. Imagine with so much free oil money & other natural resources what the country would have achieved if not for decades of unwanted sanctions & the hardships a common man face like unemployment, Inflation & oppression with no freedom of speech or say in the country's affairs, when 70% of country's money drained in funding terror & war in the Middle East. How many billions worth of weapons are supplied to Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah & other terror networks in Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Balochistan, Afghanistan & other Islamic countries. Really sad the people are helpless to change this uncalled for fate
