Despite the very miserable weather against which there is simply little you can do, I am sure that Sherpa and his cute new nephew will become very good friends. Kudos to Sarah for this addition to the family.

That's the kind of relationship parents of elderly kids should have. A happy open door policy and if you've brought your kids up right, they'll know the boundaries. It's such a help after my operation knowing that my daughter will come bounding through my door with her delightful wit and sunny smile.

That was great! Sherpie had a friend to play with. Dexter stood his ground like the spoiled pup he is. Spoiling your dog gives them a feeling of strength and security. No small-dog syndrome for nim. He did look bigger next to Sherpie somehow.

We saw what there was of the eclipse on this side of Tennessee. It slowly darkened but never got totally dark. My dog was hiding out in the house. I heard that the zoo animals in Little Rock weren't happy, especially the giraffe. Didn't know there was a zoo there. Been to the zoo in Nashville. I don't like zoos, poor locked up animals.
@@denicesanders4586 Are you in West Tennessee? I’m in Knoxville. The sun finally broke through the clouds about 6:00. I remember the eclipse in 2017. It got totally dark and even the birds went to roost. We’ve got a nice zoo here in Knoxville. The enclosures are large and give the animals lots of natural habitat. But I’d rather see them in the wild but the wild is disappearing plus there’s always some fool wanting to shoot them. My Mom refused to go to the zoo. I went to Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg and I was very disappointed. Some of the tanks are way too small. Some of the tanks had too many sharks in them and it really upset me.
