And than today the USL Cup (Jäegermeister Cup) will indeed have all USL Championship clubs. Making this indeed like the EFL Cup in England. And as I’ve said I like that the USL Cup is a thing. Gives the USL clubs some more to do and also something else to do since a lot are most likely to get bumped out of the USOC early
And throw in how the USL Championship final was on at 9AM my time compared to 1PM for the MLS Cup final on FOX and yet the USL Championship final drew better when speaking only regular English language tv
I was waiting for Brooklyn FC - but now they're pushed back to 2026...Will they ever happen ?? USL would take a massive leap forward if they adopted PRO / REL.... They could create a pyramid of 100s of local sides through out this nation !!
Why is USLC considered second division in the US I understand MLS has more money and views etc. But is that why it's considered second division if there's no pro/reg? Isn't it just another entity on it's own? Just curious. Thanks.
I think that's the ranking they were given when they were sanctioned by the USSF (the US governing body), based on money, arena size, etc...mostly money. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_soccer_league_system
So dumb, why should I have to pay for a subscription (Apple TV) to watch mls,I get that I should have it pay but,the mls is so hidden,1-2 games a season on antenna,so dumb,I hope the mls doesn’t exist in the future
I had the extreme pleasure of going to all four of the playoff games in Colorado Springs, including the Championship. I'm so proud of the fans and the team...the place was rockin! Go Switchbacks! By comparison, you can't even watch a Rapids game in Denver unless you're at the game or paying for Apple++ or whatever it's called, because the local owner (who also owns the Avalanche and Nuggets) is an greedy a$$hole and won't make a local cable deal...so I drove 100+ miles to watch the USL in, quite frankly, a better stadium with a better team! My advice to the USL is to enact relegations/promotions themselves...two up, two down. Also partner with some of the other 3rd tier leagues to expand USL1 so you have two conferences (east/west) to help with travel expenses and to line up for the promotion/relegation system. These other leagues could stay independent to a degree and just compete in the USL for the championship, but not share financials completely. They'd also be eligible to go up or down. Listen USL! There's a thrill to watching you team fight to stay up or go up...just ask, I'm a Forest fan too. : )
mls’s was 468,000 with way more backing, huge growth from usl
So if that's only the viewership from CBS, I wonder how many Spanish homes watched on TUDN
Thank you, dude. USL is my soccer league. And your yt channel is one of the reason why
🥹 thank you 🙏

Having local TV access is vital for growth to build enthusiasm.
I became a USL fan when Orlando City started now follow Tampa Bay

LETS GO SWITCHBACKS
Just like the NWSL had 896k for its final
Just wish my team didn’t get robbed in the semis 😢
