Employee Engagement - Who's Sinking Your Boat?

- Welcome aboard! At long last, the remake of our viral hit, 'Who's Sinking Your Boat?'.
When we launched our original in 2013, Gallup claimed that approximately 7 out of 10 employees are disengaged. In spite of billions being spent on engagement initiatives, we have only managed minor gains. As in the original, this remake will define engagement and make a business case for engagement BUT will also provide a 'call to action' by introducing 8 key focus areas organizations need to focus on to keep employees 'afloat'.

Magnificent. Thank you Bob. Great insights and key points.
Thanks Patricio
I love this! Thank you for your great work!
Excellent update! Great job and thanks for sharing.
Very good information. It is true that there is a significant difference between engagement and satisfaction. An engaged employee is always productive despite the challenges and failures.
Great approach to one of the most critical risks for businesses - how to manage and support employees
You mean get free work out of them? That's all employee engagement is about.
@@trumpisaconfirmedcuck5840 - Looking at "getting some for free" out of an employee is the wrong mindset when it comes to maintaining good employee retention and engagement.
@@db3sriskitornot540 But that's all work ultimately is. Getting as much money out of your boss as possible or getting as much money out of your employees as possible. It's an adversarial relationship by its very nature. If I won the lottery or saved up enough money or got a big fat inheritance, why would I go to work?
This is excellent! Good learning! Thank you for making this video.
Yay, a new video! Thank you!!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Love this! On point!
I loveeee this video so much.....it's actually great....much information in a creative manner that viewer can watch whole video without pausing once
Thanks Bob.. You rasied some brilliant points. Love the video it was really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Thought provoking stuff! Especially the part showing that based on research, only 2% of 44 year olds are creative, vs 98% of 5 year-olds are creative. I’m sure glad that a group of 5 year-olds clearly made this video, and not a bunch of uncreative Thought Leaders who don’t even know how to row properly
Very Insightful Learning! This is a Leveller of Sorts! Many Thanks for This Valuable Piece!
Thanks Peter
thought you might like to know this is in a module in my leadership class
Great video - thanks!
This is very helpful to me. Thank you so much for sharing this.
great video! do you have a Spanish version?
Not yet. Sorry.
What is the difference between successful and unsuccessful practice of employee involvement and participation?
When your employers turn into dictators they shouldn't expect anything less than total disengagement. You reap what you sow. Our boat is the Tintanic II and has already crashed into an iceberg and is sinking fast.
So what should be done to those who are trying to sink the boat? By the way I really enjoy the video.
great thank you
You are welcome!
wow Great
Ok
