Looking good. I'm a couple steps ahead of this one. Currently in the process of decarboning the heads, valves and cleaning gasket surfaces. I went ahead and lapped valves, which I read the Onan manual says not to on one forum. I was looking at a Wheel Horse service manual and it doesn't state not to lap, in it. Oh well, it's getting expensive, so hopefully I'll be good. Looking forward to the rest of series.
It was a pain but I managed to get the driveshaft off with the engine still in my 420. Does the driveshaft just slide off of the hydro pump, or does it have a locking system in it.
The driveshaft should just slide off, unless it is the updated yoke with the bolt-clamp to hold the driveshaft on input shaft. The video released today will show the P218 removal.
