The INDe BR3 allows drill-free accessory suspension mounting on nearly any drum
The BR3 is the newest addition to the lineup of INDe BR series tom & accessory suspension mounting brackets. This new, patent pending design replaces any lug on nearly any drum, using the existing mounting holes. It allows drummers to mount toms, convert mounted toms to floor toms, or add accessories to any drum, without drilling additional holes. The unique spring-steel construction helps isolate the base from the clamp, allowing accessories to resonate freely, without restricting the sound of the drum.
    Specifications
Adjusts to fit lug hole spacings from 1-2"
The clamp adjusts to fit mounting 9.5, 10.5, and 12.7mm mounting posts
Brass tension rod receiver for smooth tuning
Low profile (less than 2" tall) and low mass (265g)
    Includes Memory Lock
    Patent Pending

I would love to see a video A/B comparing a floor Tom with standard leg mounts and the br2 or br3 models to see the difference in resonance.

Great invention! Seems so simple that it makes you wonder why somebody didn't do this a long tie ago! Good work! Does you company have a way to attach a tom holder to the bass drum without drilling holes in the bass drum?

What I need is a way to attach a double tom mount to a bass drum that doesn't have a mount. I find that I can set up a drum set faster when the Tom's are mounted on the bass drum since I will then always have them in the same place. I also prefer bass drum mounts to racks.

Looks like a great product but I'd lo ve a version to replace single bolt lugs

Thanks! I wouldn't recommend hanging accessories off of a single bolt lug location- the load needs to be spread out more than that.

@@IndependentDrumLab I agree with that in general, but if it is a light weight accesory such a cowbell, a tambourine or a splash cymbal, maybe it's not a problem. I wouldn't do that with a tom or a ride cymbal, for sure...!

Can it be ordered with a Wingnut instead of a key rod? Wouldn't wanna use the drum key just to get the tom tom out. If so, take my money!! BTW it's awesome that you guys thought of this, I want to replace the ATLAS that came with my drum, its just to bulky.

Yes! Our BR3 Brackets come standard with a wingnut now. Check them out on indedrum.com

i really wish yall made a center snare lug that didnt require any drilling. i have a new metal snare and the hardware is atrocious but i dont want to drill new holes for it.

I love the idea of using these to attach floor tom legs, but I have a question around spacing. On a 6-lug drum it would be easy to space the 3 legs equally as you'd simply replace every second bottom lug with one of these mounts. But what would you do on an 8-lug drum, which is the case for most floor toms? You'd end up with very asymmetrical floor tom leg placement. Would that matter, besides the aesthetics?

    • @IndependentDrumLab
      @IndependentDrumLab  Рік тому

The asymmetrical placement on a floor tom is no problem. In fact, a lot of manufacturers (Ludwig for example) drill the floor tom legs centered between the lugs, which gives the exact same assymetry. No issues at all!

Sorry you are disappointed! We tried to keep the BR3 as compact as possible, with a fixed spring position. If it doesn't meet your needs, we are happy to take it back- just contact us at josh@indedrum.com

You guys need to redo the video and add the tension rod thread size. I don't think you can just put it on any drum. They aren't all the same tension rod thread sizes.
