As someone who drove BMW’s for fifteen years then a Mercedes for five and after that Alfa Romeo for ten I can tell you that Fiat in general is very underrated. I have had a fiat as a second car since 1987 and they have always performed well. No, as the new 500 is testement to they go the distance. Look how many are still around after 15 years. Fiat have sold ove 3,000,000 500’s and there is a reason for that. It fits its market perfectly, it has something that far East cars would die for and that is it equals more than the sume of its parts. A little like Alfa it has what the French call Je ne sais quoi, a certain something that is hard to put your finger on but it puts a smile on your face every time you drive it. That retroesque interior, small but comfy enough for two people. Its economical but the performance is adequate for what it is. I have bought one and I just look for an excuse to take it for a run. I could never say that about any of the BMW, yes the look good in the office car park or down the pub and yes most perform well but since the E30 model they have lost their way, anaomus Hyundai clones. If there is just two of you than the Fiat 500 is fun with a capital F, next best thing to an Alfa.

We love our Fiat 500 It's fun to drive and excellent around the city where we live Over long journeys it's good too as it has cruise control and very good MPG They are still a great car and you see so many on the road so that says it all Bear Hull UK

@@CarCultureClub is it only after the 2023 model that there is a fixed sunroof? As I’ve seen other videos the 500 where you can open/ close the sunroof
@lakindublin some other models have it and obviously you have the convertible one too. The model in this video didn’t have a moveable one

We’re not entirely sure if they sell these in the U.S 🤔 definitely worth looking it up! I’m sure you can import one from Italy but it may cost you quite a bit.

@@diecastcarsmodels5496 ahh yes you’re right, forgot about the Abarth. The Abarth is definitely the option to go for if you want all the power but if you’re looking for this model then you may have to look elsewhere. Glad we could help!
Imagine this, a big bearded bloke turns up on your drive way. You ask why he is there, the bearded bloke replays he there to do your garden ?. You my be puzzled at this point and ask yourself how do you fit all the gardening equipment in ?.
