I saw the thumb nail and I was excited you got this fan!! I bought it over the summer for camping and literally thought to myself 'Peter would like this for traveling!'
I‘m sleeping with a fan at summertime. I love it also for the white noise. My fan needs to have different settings for power and oscillating, a remote, it should be not too loud and very important: the possibility to open it to clean. I have a little fan for my work desk and it’s a nightmare to clean because I can’t open it. I need these long cotton tips and a hairdryer to clean it. My big one, I put the non electronic parts in the shower and it’s perfectly clean. Wish you and Alex a nice trip to Mexico! 💙
I would take the blue fan too (got to have some wind and some white noise)! I have an industrial fan, for my bedroom too. So don’t “sleep” on that remote idea cuz I love mine. I have trouble sleeping and before when I would get ready to go to sleep, getting up to turn it on would make it so much harder to get back sleepy. Hope y’all have a great time, in Mexico. 💙💙💙💙💙
They need to start making fans with a sleep setting, where even if it doesn't have extra wind power, it adjusts something to make more noise. I've given up and just use a fan sound on my phone 😆
I have a box fan that sits in my dining room window in the summer and love it. Its called air king and they are a bit pricey but they are a beast. No central air here and it can cool off my main floor overnight. Not sure if they have a small fan but worth a look.

When I travel I just use the fan app on phone for the noise, I don’t need the air. Or I use the 10 hour blackout fan noise here on UA-cam
I sleep with a fan also. When I spent the Christmas Holiday with my family I suffered. I'll have to get one of those. Have a wonderful New Years .
