  • Stewart Copeland was in Dallas in conjunction with the music school at SMU, and on April 13th he participated in an Q&A for two hours. Here he responds to a question about his side project Klark Kent. Sorry about the quality...just an iPhone video.

Stewart needs to reissue the CD. I have it, but a lot of people don't.

Great - thanks for posting this - SC so rarely talks about KK and the background to the TOTP appearance is fantastic!

Thank you! Of everything the incredible Stewart Copeland has done throughout his career, klark kent has always been a favorite of mine. Thank you for posting this! I never knew it was Sting & Andy backing up on TOTP.

I've been thinking about how to comment on this video since viewing it half a decade ago. Ok. Most of what this guy here says may be somewhat truthful. But now wait-- he's taking credit for actually being Klark Kent?? What a load! First off straightaway, Mr. Kant is a young Hungarian ballet instructor, who's also talented in writing poetry, taking in large quantities of information, at high speed in binary code!! Do you think the guy in this video can even stick his fingers in a power socket? Me neither. Fact is Mr. Kunt's history has been recounted in books and movies. So take what this guy here says as nothing more than being grand

This is awesome stuff...but it really bothers me the way he pronounces “BOWie” lol

Nope...sorry. But they had no less than 3 cameras setup on tripods in the back of the hall so there's more than a chance that a lot of this will end up online at some point.
