HOW TO UPDATE FIRMWARE ON QSC K12.2

It is important to update the firmware file as some models may experience a critical low frequency driver failure with no amplifier protection to alert the user. The unit may also overheat, with the potential to damage the rest of the loudspeaker. The latest firmware is v1.4.1 for K12.2 or v1.3.3 for K8.2 and K10.2's.
The software is now available for both mac and windows here:

Hi there. Want to thank you for making this video. I Just purchase a pair of this speakers. And have no idea you need it to update the firmware. Or that speakers can get damage with the old one. I will definitely check what version they arrive with. Thank you.

How can I run windows on my Mac? Are you running it through boot camp? Or can you please provide a link to try running the parallels windows machine. Thanks and great video.

I have a K12.2 which is flickering or flashing like intenting to start and cut so never turn on, power supply mosfets are not shorted, do this speaker have a reset procedure in order to see if my problem can besolved with a reset ????

Did you update the firmware? You might have a burnt speaker cone
