- The Makita Backpack Vacuum is an amazing addition to any tool collection! Weather your in construction, electrical or even plumbing you find yourself needing to drill through walls, cut wood and utilize cutout tools; and well... this vacuum can handle it all! As you can see from the clips that I have included in this video it handles extremely well in the various tasks that I put it through.
This vacuum is not only powerful for its small and compact form factor but its extremely comfortable, Makita really put the needs and consideration in the making of this tool for the people that would be using it. It features so many compartmentalized foam and sponge pieces that are all located in just the right areas. it has straps and buckles to aid in giving you more comfort and to have this secured to your body and it has adjustable straps just like a regular backpack.
Running on the LXT 18v line of tools this means if you already own 18v Makita tools you have a multitude of tools that can be used with the interchangeable batteries. Ohh yeah, did I forget to mention that this runs on TWO(2) 18v Batteries which gives it 36v! With this you have added runtime and added power, which means more productivity and less time swapping batteries.
If your in the market for a compact, comfortable and portable vacuum you have to check this out! I definitely recommend this product!

I got a bunch of makita batteries and want a cordless vac for home use. I only have carpeted stairs and a couple cars, but occationally i need a vac. mostly I need to be out of the way, small, stronk. While these backpack bags don't seem stronk on paper, they certainly seem to fit into the niche of being small and out of the way. question for you! is there a good reason to not use worksite vac for just around the house tasks?
