    MAKITA unboxing!!! 😁👍✌ Given a choice, I'd like to see it used with the drywall sander. Especially being that drywall finishing dust is so fine like silt. Thanks Vince and God bless! 😁

    I’ve had this vac for about 3 years , really convenient, I use it with the Bluetooth plunge saw in shopfitting, sometimes trading stores , it works perfect and keeps the dust down to a minimum, 👌👌👌

    Great video.Looks like a vac that we in the trucking biz will seriously be looking at , even if many of us are invested in other battery platforms.Looks like a vac that could do both office cleaning and truck interiors cleaning.

    i wonder with the aws stuff how hard it would be to take the transmitter out of one of the tools and build it into a key fob style thing and use that to turn the vac on and off. kind of like the dewalt flexi volt vac

    I love this but ill buy it when they make it ac/dc with detachable chord like the 809 light and the hose is ribless like new festool hose.

      They actually make one: DVC860LZ. Itis not brushless and does not have the AWS bluetooth thing. On the other hand it can be used for wet vacuuming unlike this one. If they had a product with all these features plus a bluetooth button on the hose end with vibration detection (Metabo cordless control - you can use any cordless tool brand) I would be all in.

    Hi Vince great unboxing as always 👍. Think that probe coming out the bottom is to discharge any static build up maybe not 100% tho. Would like to see it run on a plunge saw with track think it would be a good test for it what you guys think? Keep up the good work 👍⛏🔨😊

    Would like to see the 36v rear handle circ saw w/ this vacuum. Think this would be a great thing paired w/ the miter & table saws though. Seems pretty cool, but would think the 16 would have more “volume” than the 14; unless heard that wrong. Seeing that Bluetooth in action would be awesome , especially if worked flawlessly w/ the tools (all makita tools😉).

    Makita Miter Saw any one, and Makita 9.25 inch Track compatible Circular saw, that thing is throwing dust all over and I"m looking for a Vacuum, the XCV18ZX would be nice to see as well, says it has 64 CFM flow with 44 inch water lift. The one you just showed says 74 / 39 so somehow the 16zx is higher flow, but lower suction, while the 18zx is lower flow, higher suction. Both are about the same level of noise.

    I think very highly of Makita tools. They have never let me down but I just don't like the idea of two battery 36V system. I would much rather prefer to see Milwaukee style bigger 18V batteries from Makita. Milwaukee manages to do heck of a lot while retaining 18V system. Many of their 18V tools outperform tools from competitors that run higher voltages.
    In a high consumption device like a vacuum you would probably need 6 batteries and two dual chargers to be able to use the tool continuously. To me that us a big shortcoming but other than that I am sure it lives up to typical Makita high quality standards.

    • @MangoGino
      @MangoGino 5 років тому +2

      I like the 18x2 feature, it's the most future proof vs Milwaukee or DeWALT. They'll eventually come out with a 9 or 12ah battery when the time is right. Assuming they do release a 12ah, a 36v12ah combo battery will have 432 watt hours, doubling Milwaukees/DeWALTs offering of 216 watt hours from their current 18v12ah batteries, which is what Makita gives you right now with their 36v6ah combo. The competition is gonna need a 24ah battery to compete with this if they are to stay 18v, imagine how uncomfortable using a battery this size would be.
