I love Kiki. I subscribed to her channel a couple of years ago the first time I saw her. I am 67 and find her to be down to earth and practical. She always says NOT to keep it just about the skinny BUT about health and self love. That reminder is priceless! This is a fabulous interview. I'm certain that I'll watch it again!
Thank you, AJ and Kiki! I've been binge-watching all your interviews today, as I reboot and work on the remaining 80+ pounds I want to lose. Regarding loose skin... I like to think of my loose skin as my "SAD" scars that came from injuring myself for all those years (decades) by poisoning my body with the standard American diet (SAD). We all carry scars from injuries, surgeries, etc. Scars heal and can almost disappear given enough time, but some never do. Some people like to brag or tell stories about how they got their scars. I know the story behind each one of my scars, and some are more than 50 years old. All this to say... I recommend we all use our "SAD" scars to tell others our stories of weight-loss and healing. ☺ P.S. Shout out to my home state of Colorado! Grew up in Northglenn. (NGHS Class of '82)
Plantiful Kiki is our future, along with other younger generations who are committed to the wfpe lifestyle. Watching her as she elegantly matures as a woman, I see the next potential Victoria Moran. I get excited when I see our future, when I see the legacy of the elder plant based docs being heard by those far younger, however the younger generations are making it their own, as well, and I am appreciating their message and welcoming learning from them as well. Thank you for this wonderful convo, Plantiful Kiki and Chef AJ, two generations of dedicated spirits who do it their own unique way for the animals, for our health and our planet. 🙏🙏💟💟💪
What a wonderful interview. It was a pleasure to watch. I love Kiki, but i am 76 so I guess I’m not truly part of her demographic. I have all her books and I’m a faithful supporter of her recipes.
You both are so inspiring! I turned my Mom onto Kiki’s cheese sauce and for the first time this Thanksgiving, her broccoli cheese casserole will be entirely plant based! Thank you both for all the great WFPB cooking ideas. 🙏
I like the fact that she acknowledges it is ok to occasional eat foods she should not be eating, because a diet that is too prohibitive can have a boomerang effect.
I really like Kiki and can relate to her. I also love to buy whole food, plant based books and have built a small library of them recently as it provides the knowledge, inspiration and validation I need. I also love watching videos of my favorite people, Dr Mcdougall, Dr Barnard, Dr Greger, Chef AJ and many others for the same reason. Following one has lead me to so many others. I just subscribed to Kiki’s channel and I’m looking forward to more from her! By the way, I also have hypothyroidism and despite having normal levels with Synthroid, I am always cold and do not enjoy the cold months in New York. Thanks to everyone!
I love Kiki! I can watch ALL the WFPB proponents, but I am 66. When I need to refer someone younger (I’m looking at my DIL) I ALWAYS recommend they start with Kiki! She is so “approachable” and down to earth as well as beautiful. I just got the bundle - can’t wait to check it out!
Another great interview AJ, Great advice from Kiki, she is a very sweet person. I love Anne with an E too, you have to watch it AJ, it's on Netflix. Thanks again for all you do and the interesting people you have on your channel 😘
Thank you Chef AJ for another fantastic interview. I love Kiki and I am looking forward to getting more regular UA-cam videos on her channel once she feels more settled 😍☺️☺️
I do get the restaurant idea but, here in the UK if you eat like that, you still land up paying a fortune for basic cooked food that you can make at hike for a fraction of the price. Its a huge dichotomy for me.
It is really hard to do all raw during winter if you live in a cold area. I can't take it. BRRRR -- I recall Alicia Silverstone saying that she quit being all raw and switched to a more macrobiotic type vegan diet when it was freezing cold in January in New York City and she was out in the snow desperately trying to find a mango. LOL!
UA-cam used to give a down arrow to click on to get show notes. Now it gives the word more to click on. It first appears right below the video title in small lower case letters with 3 periods in front of it like this: ...more You will also see it again so contine to look for ...more and click on it until you see all that you are used to seeing. Hope that helps!
Kiki is a wonderful guests. She is so down to earth. My problem though with following this way of eating is that I must stop loosing weight. Hopefully one day you can address this problem too.
Have nearly given up on the weight. Used to be so thin but now keep rebounding no matter what. Think it’s genetic resistance, maybe chemical exposure, and/or stress. Really don’t know. My mother would eat nothing and gain weight. It can seem hopeless, and for me dangerous with having had a hormone based cancer that can be worsened if fat. All the same, never know when something may work. Besides, even if the weight seems hopeless, the food can be …. « healthful, ethical, creative, and delicious « .
Why are humans eating only 30 types of veges and plants and herbs when there are over 2000 different types of eatable plants? Please ask this question maybe Dr Joe furnham next time you have him on your show ?
At the start with her saying she's the mom - right. I work with private families - big earners. When the kids have food allergies it is tough, even the non-allergy kids train the moms to bend to their every desire IF the mom lets it happen. My mom just made food and we ate. She was a good cook, so it was easy.

I ❤️KiKi! She is so real, so down to earth. Her recipes are so healthy, tasty and simple ingredients, which is so important.
I made Kiki's Winter Salad for my daughter's first birthday party on Saturday. Everybody loved it!
This was so interesting! I love watching Kiki's plant based family. They inspire me so much
I like the fact that she acknowledges it is ok to occasional eat foods she should not be eating, because a diet that is too prohibitive can have a boomerang effect.

Loved this interview. Love Kiki’s message. I’ve watched her YT channel for a few years now. I’m 66, and slowly trying to transition to WFPB.
Her cheese sauce is the best. I am so addicted to it.
one of the best interviews AJ . love Kiki's recipes and humour! Voluntarily go without food! loved her reaction.
Thank you!!!! So many good nuggets, I've already watch this one like 3 times!
Love Plantiful Kiki!

She’s the Best!Hannah and Chef AJ too!❤️
This ebook has the very best chili recipe I've ever tasted. I finished the first batch and am ready to make it again. Thank you.
Teo of my favorites!!!🥰🥰
Great interview! I tried lots of “cheese” recipes, but like hers best.
How did I miss this!!!! 😮

Love kiki, I’ve been watching her since the beginning. Chef AJ, I think between you and Shada you could come up with a compliant baklava.
Maybe I missed it, but it would have been great to see a "before" pic of Kiki. That is worth a thousand words to see what she overcame.
Check out her website or videos - she was 70 pounds heavier and she isn't shy talking about it!
Thank you... Kiki is amazing 🥰
The bakery in San Francisco: « Boudin » is the name you might be looking for.
Really enjoy Kiki
Those of us in Northern Ireland know balaclavas well🙏

2 tbsps a week of seaweed has alot of thyroid nutrients.
So, is the 70% off of Kiki's weight loss program over now?
Hi. I need to catch up with Kiki. I thought she moved to Florida!
it didn't work out for them unfortunately.
The link for the bundle is not working for me.
What is the title of Kiki’s book and link to follow her?
Please check the show notes
I do not get “show notes”. Why? I used to get them!
UA-cam used to give a down arrow to click on to get show notes. Now it gives the word more to click on.
